Inadequate lighting in the desk area. The low water use toilet has to be flushed twice so why bother. The bowl sink and faucet puts out way too much water and the drain was of course clogged. The Wi-Fi was not suitable for a zoom meeting and I had to hotspot my telephone. The air conditioner was so loud I couldn't even hear the TV. I had to put the closed captioning on so to not to raise the volume.

Easy parking

Nice clean recently renovated room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was very nice , and the hot shower with the massaging shower head was great after a long day of riding my motorcycle. I was able to park my bike right in front of my room, which made unloading and reloading very easy. The owner was nice to talk with and I had a great stay. I’ll stay here again when I’m riding through the up the PCH.

Very clean. Parking is as good as it gets. And i felt safe. Very happy with my stay. Very small hotel. When I go back through there. Will stay there again.

Nice clean rooms, no noise and Direct TV

There was parking by the rooms. The room had a Microwave and small fridge. The bed was fine and had shutters to cover the windows which I liked. The AC was good and had a decent vanity and a tub. The negatives were a broken ice machine and a decent amount of traffic noise which I solved by running the AC as white noise. BTW, I stayed here twice within a week. On the second stay, one of the lavatory handles didn't work but not really a killer.

It looks like a motel but the room condition is good. The A/C was noisy but was fixed after I cleaned the filters. The price was high because it is a Saturday. I would suggest to book early.

The room was great with a couple of issues but nothing it couldn't be resolved. 1 broken window shade I had to improvise & place a towel ever it so it could not be seen inside the room. TV not working good, but God resolved by attending associate. Again minor detail. Ice machine not working ☹️ bummer. Overall it was an okay place. Liked the fact that we could walk to our dinner & back literally around the corner.

It was too much chemical smell and the photos of the property do not math the actual place. It didn't seem very safe to stay with family. None of this area was shown in the pictures. It was not a hotel, its more of a motel.

The room had a real musty smell and the bathroom had a few hairs on the floor. Bed was comfortable.

The mattress was surprisingly comfortable and we had a working fridge. There was soap, shampoo, and clean towels. We were passing through and just needed a place to crash, so we did not even turn on the tv, nor try the blowdryer nor iron (I think there was an iron). We would stay here again.

Room was not clean. it had lot of dust.. by look it seems clean but floor was very dirty Microwave was also not clean other than that it was average

It should be cheaper. it's been cheaply remodeled, but it does the job. some fixtures are still not updated. Linens are cheap but clean. towels are old but clean. there's dust on surfaces like over refrigerator and over the light switches. walls and light switches and door were dirty and dusty. there was a hair on the bottom right corner of the tub on the day we arrived, the next day after they "cleaned", it was still there. wall over the sink was dirty and had a dead smeared over and smeared hair on a corner. mosquito, the faucet was dirty and the mirror frame was also dirty. Whoever cleans needs better training.

I liked the fact that this room was spacious and immaculate. Everything was clean, and there was room for luggage and suits in the closet. It seemed like the floor was easy to get dirty because it was on level with the outside walkway; in the future, when I come back, I plan to wear socks walking inside the room. Great facilities, though.

Everything satisfactory except my room was next to utility room that had something that created a vacuum cleaner noise every few minutes so didn't sleep well.

Blackout curtains would have been nice, it was very bright in the room even with the shades closed. Beds were too hard for me but my kids didn't think so. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of shopping/food very close by. Overall great place to stay if only staying for a day or two, for a low price.

We have stayed here multiple times due to the price and never any issues. This time the ceiling was leaking water when we turned on the shower. The closet door was messed up, the property needs a little revamping

The parking was free, the room was very clean smelling like bleach, comfortable bed, and newly renovated. The only downside was that the windows were thin and you could hear people talking outside, and there were no black out curtains.

The facility itself is a bit older. It is clean inside but it is located on a road where cars like to speed, so those that are loud at night can disrupt sleep. Also, the walls allow you to hear the next door neighbor pretty clearly.

Desk clerk was especially welcoming. Pristine and immaculate may not describe the property and room perfectly. But they’re so close you can’t tell the difference. Very highly recommended.

Always a pleasure staying here. Perfect spot to stay at. Quiet, stores nearby. Manager is top notch.

Owner was super rude and stand offish when we checked in and had a bunch of rules for us that we later watched didn’t apply to other guests like being told since we are local no guests. The room had blood on the bathroom sealing and everything was outdated and dingy or rusty. When you use the microwave it makes all the lights flash. There were no shelves in the fridge.

Very friendly front desk staff. The rooms are relatively clean and comfortable at the price range.

The manager was very nice. The room was clean, had a microwave and a fridge, and the bathroom came with plenty of towels - and even three shampoo bottles. I'd happily stay here again. Also, I travel with my special needs son. Some places have asked me not to stay, which is a crazy ADA violation. It's hard enough travelling with my son, but reaching my destination and being offered a full refund rather than being provided a room is exhausting. These folks were welcoming, and it was such a nice relief.

A fairly standard motel experience on a main street near many businesses and restaurants. Rooms were good, but nothing remarkable. Bed was comfortable, but creaked loudly. MOST everything was clean, though the fitted sheet was dirty when I arrived and I had to have it changed by maid service. Area seemed safe and room secure. No breakfast provided, and office was closed when we tried to check out at 6am. Staff was friendly, but not enthusiastic. The fellow who checked us in had a pretty negative opinion about the town and was very vocal about how he thought there was nothing to the town but strawberries and broccoli, and an overpriced rodeo that wasn't worth seeing. He was wrong on all counts as the rodeo wasn't nearly as expensive as he said it was and we found more than enough to do in the area to occupy our 8 day stay. Maid service cleaned every day even when not asked to. Another guest in my party believed they had gotten into his luggage and tried to access an old smartphone he had there, but I had no such issues as I hid all my valuables anyway. Overall, not a bad motel. However when I paid for it, I believed I was getting a much better experience at a higher end hotel. Their website advertises "First-aid staff/24hr and Free Continental Breakfast" which definitely were not available and played into our decision to pay the rate for this motel when we made our reservations.

The charging stations for electric cars are within walking distance of Target. The king room had plenty of space, plank flooring, and a raised mattress. The vanity sink is practical & stylish and the shower is warm to hot running water with a clean shower curtain. I did like the stylish "Plantation Shutters" on the front window! A very affordable place to stay!

Close to shopping and restaurants. Able to walk to BBQ world. Delicious pork and beef ribs! Huge helpings as well.

Solaire Inn & suites, Santa Maria CA gives you value for your money. I stayed for 3 weeks. Clean and well maintained rooms. Great front office as well as house-keeping services. Close to shopping facilities & walkable. I recommend it 💯.

Very good service, friendly, remodeled, close parking. There was a lot of street noise on a Saturday night. Mostly very good.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, ample parking and right in front of room, walking distance to restaurants, shopping centers. A little street noise but tolerable. Overall stay was good. Would stay again.

Very clean room and comfortable bed. My wife and I stayed for one night on our sightseeing trip to Big Sur. We were pleasantly surprised at such a nice updated room for a reasonable price. The man at the front desk was very helpful with places to eat. He recommended Crumbles Restaurant and it did not disappoint!

As others have mentioned, there is no breakfast offered. Online price quoted was exactly what we paid. Great option for an inexpensive, no-frills stay.
