Comfort Inn Kent - Seattle

I've used this hotel a few times before and appreciate the efforts the staff make to ensure customer's vehicles are safeguarded with proper parking lot lighting, reducing parking lot access in the late hours as well as entrance to the hotel can only be achieved with the room card. In days like these, all safety measures are wise.

Room and bathroom were nice condition and clean. Breakfast bar was very nice. Indoor heated swimming pool was nice 80 deg great for a January swim. Only minor issue was key cards kept failing and had to take to desk to reprogram.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good, even providing chicken soup some mornings. We liked having an indoor pool and jacuzzi and exercise room nearby. It was a very nice hotel. The only drawback was it took the maid over six hours to come clean our room. Maybe they were understaffed!

Amazing property and staff! Would definitely recommend staying here. Easy to find, ample parking, very friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy beds. The pool was nice and the hot tub was great.

Room smelt bad. Items at breakfast were not refilled. Hot tub was ice cold.

The hotel is great. The Hot tub was out of services which sucked. The gal who checked us in said there was a dirt clog in the filter. It was way more then that. (see picture)

The hot tub was broken the whole 4 days we were there. I reserved this particular place for the hot tub. Breakfast was good, but no variety. Same thing every day, except no b & g on the weekends.Ran out of things and when it was out, that was it HOWEVER, staff was amazing, rooms A+. Will be back.

Nice property for the money. Enjoyed her hot tub after a long day driving. Would stay here again.

Rude, unprofessional, and if I could I would use other choice words. Sad to say but will never get my business again. Terrible place to stay bed bugs and dirty.

My room was not clean as there was stuff on the floor from previous person. (Bottle cap, fake nails, and a hair brush)

First thing we saw walking into the room was a bug on the bed … 0/10 . We got switched to a different room but we ended up just leaving as we felt disgusted.

There was ample parking and the lot was gated and felt reasonably safe. The desk associates were friendly helpful and efficient at check in and check out. The room was fine and LOOKED clean however I was wearing new shoes and new white socks and I took off my shoes before unpacking my bag for a single night stay so maybe 5-7 mins and when I sat down to take off my socks the soles were dark brown. After only a few minutes walking back and forth in the room. The carpet clearly was VERY dirty though it didn’t appear that way visually. It definitely needs to be shampooed. That grossed me out and made me uncomfortable to walk barefoot so I cannot rate well for cleanliness while the rest of the room and the hotel looked to be clean. Large bathroom decent water pressure and comfortable beds. Didn’t eat breakfast but it smelled great.

Room wasn’t cleaned they just remade bed after three days didn’t vacuum wipe down anything there was something sticky on the counter top when I first arrived an when they came to clean it was there after

Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve had. From bugs to dirty carpeting and old outdated rooms and bathrooms, old furniture and scarce breakfast options. I would never recommend this place to anyone and would never return here or spend a dollar at this facility. Terrible experience. Manager Kent treated me very rude and not accommodating for a terrible experience. Waste of money, there are many other hotels in the area. I would recommend any one of them, just not this one.

Clean, but older. Towel had holes in it, remote had dead batteries, furniture had some good wear/hinges were screechy.

The breakfast was very good also the lady cook was pleasant and polite. What I didn't like was the house keeping. They are not doing their job properly. Also nobody is watching them. So they are not doing it properly. I staye d there 4 days and the cleaning was terrible. They didnt clean the room properly. Very bad

No bed making or room cleaned unless you ask for it. No signs telling you that a request is needed. Not happy about this situation.

As soon as we entered the elevators they were filthy. We entered our room and it had a cigarette smell to it eventhough it was a non-smoking room. The lounge chair had a white stain on it. The restroom mirror was dirty. We had to ask for room service as our room was skipped the first day we were there. I will not stay there again.

We were given a room beside the elevator, it was noisy.

Property is very comfortable and has good amenities. Rooms are updated and have all the extras you'd need like a coffee maker and refrigerator. The pool is pretty large and inside and wasn't busy during our stay. The check in staff was exceptionally friendly as were the breakfast servers. Only minus was that we had a view of a chain link fence so we kept the curtains closed. Not a big deal and otherwise all was excellent!

This was beautiful, well updated with the exception of the bed, it was super hard! Pillow were nice! Pool was too cold to use.

Nice, safe, clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Note for anyone staying here..do not get placed on the 3rd floor where rooms are nearest to the end facing the main road. Noise from the High traffic area makes it very hard to sleep.

I like the quiet room. The lighting in the room could have been better, seemed very dark. No coffee, not enough food at breakfast for all that were there and very crowded.

Hotel itself was clean. Room did smell slightly nusty. Walls are thin and you could hear everything. Staff friendly. Area around the hotel is not the best.. gave peace of mind that they had a gate they locked at night.

internet didnt work for most of my stay, Hotel staff didn’t care. Room was outdated. Not a good experience.

Staff were wonderful, room was clean and spacious. There was a parking lot outside our room with lights. The sheer curtains on the window didn’t shut all the way, and the solid curtains were decorative and did not adjust. So privacy was poor and the light was disruptive to sleep. Full solid curtains would be great This area of town is not the safest, but the hotel has a fenced car area, keyed entry, and we had not problems. It was well located to the venue we were going to. Again, staff was very good and professional, and the pool area was nice and well maintained too.

Average stay at best. Hotel has a very musty smell to it. The basic internet makes you watch a video or sign up with your email which is very annoying. Stay was nice but won't be staying at a Comfort Inn ever again.

Traveling with tweens for a long trip requires breakfast, a pool and Internet. We checked in near 8pm and were not the only family enjoying the pool and hot tub to get everyone's wiggles out. The front desk service was also great. The whole hotel was booked and the person at the desk had their hands full, but treated each person and their unique question like they were the most important guest.

Expedia filtered this as a pet friendly option. The staff let me check in, watched me walk by with my pet. When I came back by 3 hours later with my pet they told me they were charging me $250 for the undisclosed pet. I petitioned, as I did disclose my pet when I booked with Expedia. I had to pack up my 3 kids and myself to leave in order to avoid the $250 charge. Didn’t stay, and haven’t received a refund, even though I booked with the understanding of me having a pet, and didn’t stay. Very disappointing.

Mis communication on a early check in and they received my phone call specifically saying that I need a room and they agreed when I should up they rent my room and said I never had called when the front desk guy told me he seeing the notice no earlier check in I had slept in my rented car wait till the day time 3pm check in

Check in was so quick and easy. Alex is amazing and always so helpful and accommodating. He makes you feel welcome.

Check-in took a little longer. We arrived around 1am due to a delay with our flight but when we got to the hotel, the doors were locked for security reasons which is good but there was no one at the front desk and they did not hear the doorbell. I called the hotel and could hear the phone ringing but nobody came out. After a while, I was finally able to get into my room.

When we first arrived there was one lady at the desk. She did not look at me or great me but she was aware of her surroundings because she stopped someone else who walked in the door and tried to walk through the lobby without checking in. So she helped that lady and I proceeded to stand there for awhile while she looked at a computer screen. When I finally was like “Hi” she said “checking in? ID and credit card.” I told her I had a reservation and without looking at me she said”ID and credit card” I handed them to her and she said there is a $100 charge do you want it on this card. I said $100 charge for what? She said $100 for incidentals. I said the site doesn’t state that. She said do you want that on this card. I said ok and she gave me a paper to sign gave me the door key and that was that. When we got our bags the elevator wasn’t working. Multiple people including us got tired of waiting and went for the stairs that are not clearly marked. The closest door in our room was off track and the track was broken so I went down to tell her. She never looked at me she said room and I’ll make a note. Nothing else.

My car battery died at their property and I didn't realize it until check out. The manager actually went out and bought jumper cables for us to use! They accommodated our family while we waited. So thankful for their grace and willingness to go the extra mile for us!

Other than that it was a good stay- the breakfast was good but they were out of everything and people were complaining. They were slow to fill up items so it took a while to get breakfast.

Great place to stay. Clean, nice! Area is a little rough, but it was safe enough; I just would go walking after dark.

Older hotel. Location in busy interchange. They lock the parking space at night, give you some idea what kind of neighborhood it is located

This hotel was by no means worth the price, very humid, dingy and the one elevator on the property was out of order. Also in a very unsafe area. For the price I paid I would not stay here again, I would at a price of $80/night nothing more.

Hotel was beautiful and staff was friendly. If you don’t have a reason to venture out, I would not. Drove 2 miles down to wash the rental car and while I was there had an “urban outdoorsman” approach me and demanded i tell her where she could buy “blues”(synthetic fentanyl pills). It’s an unfortunate circumstance that is not just isolated to Washington.

The hotel is clean and modern. Convenient appliances (large mini fridge and room thermostat) are available in rooms, and the rooms themselves are spacious and the hotel quiet. There's a wide variety of options for breakfast and a menu for restaurant delivery. The property is safe; the hotel closes at 9 (you can use your key card to enter the front doors) and the parking lot is gated. They're located near the interstate, making the location very convenient for traveling into Seattle center or around Tacoma/Puyallup.

Quiet location with free on-site parking and a good breakfast.

The comfort Inn was clean and comfortable as usual. I didnt like the location. We had to U turn every time we came back to the hotel. We were in town for an event at the Showare. The staff was friendly. And the complimentary breakfast was really good! And the rooms were clean. Just didnt care for town of kent or the location.

Friendly staff and convenient location. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Close to the ShoWare Center if visiting for an event. Would stay here again and recommend for anyone visiting the area.

The staff is always friendly, and the Hotel is in a fairly decent area. I did notice the wrought Iron fence surrounding the perimeter and the increase of local fiends trolling. No issues at the hotel but you should consider raising your prices.

The breakfast both days we stayed ran out of food. 1st day at 7:15 , breakfast started at 7, 2nd day 9:00 . Had to ask for more food both days. The pool area stank like body odor and there were no towels in pool area. The elevator had same stuck on food on floor as when we checked in Friday night and leaving Sunday morning. Room was clean. Front desk and staff was friendly.

Hotel was clean, front desk staff pleasant. Breakfast okay - for multiple night stays it got boring. Cleaning staff were friendly, but did not defer elevator use to guests. We often deferred to them.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious with lots of options (waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereal, fruits, yogurt, muffins). We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
