This hotel was a great price point for a few extra days near the beach. We loved that it was pet friendly. The staff was super friendly and always helpful! We had two rooms and both had sinks that didn't drain unless you reached into the water and pulled the stoppers up by hand. Otherwise, no complaints.

Check-in and checkout were very easy. The rooms open to the parking lot, so it was very convenient to park the car and unload our luggage. The room had a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. We only stayed overnight. It was clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast consisted of bagels, PopTarts, cinnamon buns, oatmeal, apples, coffee, orange juice and water.

Ok motel, within walking distance to the beach and two large grocery stores. Very convenient location. Krista at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom too. Property is relatively well maintained. Some cigarette butts on walkways. Pool area is beautiful, private and very clean. Breakfast is very limited with lack of healthier choices. Also, using styrofoam plates cups and plastic cutlery, so not very eco-friendly. This area could be improved.

The room was clean and comfortable for the price. I got a bag of saltwater taffy downtown and left it on the entertainment center overnight and in the morning it was covered in sugar ants the next morning. My fault I guess in Florida. The only other down side was the water in the shower was freezing every day around 10am. Early morning and in the evening it was fine but late morning it was very cold every day.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We knew we would be very busy on our trip, so we were looking for an affordable place to sleep. This place was perfect! For the price, I was expecting mediocre. But wow! It was SO CLEAN. When we walked in, it smelled like it was freshly cleaned with bleach (my favorite smell when walking into a hotel room) and everything was spotless. While the rooms are ‘outdated’ as some other reviews say, for the price, they were in better condition than I expected and more updated than expected. The front desk staff were very kind and check in and out was simple and quick. There is onsite laundry ($4.50 to run a load and $4.50 to dry the load), a pool, ice machine and vending machines. Breakfast is included but is very simple— muffins, toast, bagels, etc. This was perfect for us but I know some reviews had mentioned the breakfast as a shortfall. We only ate breakfast on our last day (easy to take on the road), as we ate at local places with friends on the other mornings. Ultimately, I was so impressed with this hotel and will absolutely stay here again the next time we come to St. Augustine! It was truly the best value hotel I have ever stayed at.

Stayed for two nights. Upon returning in the evening of first day we found the room had not been made up. No adequate reason was given. Room service was very poor. The pool was fine and the personnel we encountered were courteous and helpful. The floor in our room was so dirty that we discovered we could not walk bare footed without getting our feet black with dirt!

The only compliment would be the lack of electrical plugs. Today with all the gadgets and people having CPAC machines you definitely need to have more plugs. If we didn't bring an extension we would have been screwed for using our machines. The room is spacious, a bit dated, comfortable and the continental breakfast was basic. It offered coffee, juice muffins & toast. Basic. The staff was friendly and especially the gentleman that was there the morning we left. Even though it was before breakfast he offered it to us which we did use. We were only there for one night and it was fine for that.

Check in eas great .. the gentleman at the front was super accommodating to me and my bad foot. Allowed me to park my new car upfront so it was more secure (my own issue) Room is a little beat up, but not bad. Id give it a 7 out of 10 beds and pillows though need replacement. Mattresses were extremely hard and pillows were NOT comfortable. Property was well lit and i felt secure.

The hotel is right on A1a and can be noisy from the traffic. I requested a room in the back by the pool,last room. It was good. The bed could have been better. The left side of the bed was too soft and sunk in. Right side better. The a/c was strange. If you put it on 70 or 68 it would shut off and get too humid. You have to turn the a/c downfor the humidity to stay down. The room was clean, except the floor. Tile on floor so I took my shoes off and feet were dirty from floor. Had small refridge and microwave. Went and got a bagel for breakfast. Not much for breakfast, but for me it was good.woild stay again.

My only complaint, is they could use a television upgrade. Very few channels, and lots of static/snow. I've stayed here 3 times and every room had the same issue with the television. Other than that, it's a great, basic hotel.

The room and exterior were clean and neat. Overall really good condition. The disappointing part was check-in. We arrived about 20 minutes till 3pm. We thought maybe the room would be ready and we could check in a little early. At first it seemed like that would happen. He radioed house keeping and they said it was ready. He then said he made a mistake and the room was for someone else. He stated to come back at 3pm and they should have a room ready. So we sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting. I went back in at 5 minutes after 3pm. After checking 2 other guest he looked over and asked if I needed help. I guess in 20 minutes time he totally forgot my coming in earlier. Maybe he was new, he definitely didn't seem too sure of what he was doing. Another somewhat annoying point is he asked everyone for their ID and a credit card which is normal. However each time he asked each person if that was the credit card they wanted to use. It's a small thing but I seriously doubt anyone would hand him a card they did not want to put the charge on. It just added a little more time to the already slow check-in process. Other than this, the stay was fine and there were no issues.

Bronx pizza is the best for food. The rooms at the hotel are clean, and the staff is friendly. Walgreens, and grocery store nearby. Quick walk to the beach. This place is a gem

The hotel is slightly dated but impeccably clean. Everything in my room worked! The A/C worked well and quietly. The staff was hard working and very friendly. I also felt safe staying here with no 'characters' hanging around at all hours of the night. The parking area is well lit with security cameras evident. The area around the hotel is very walkable and there are multiple, good restaurants within minutes. You can also walk across the parking area to the Winn Dixie or a little further to Publix for groceries. A quick car trip up A1A will take you to Old Town St Augustine or multiple beaches. I feel that the staff and price make this a worthwhile stop when visiting St Augustine.

I gave this hotel a great rating because of value for the money. It is SO convenient to old St. Augustine, and yet is almost right on the best beach in the entire area. It's under a 10 minute walk , but it's better to drive because you can park on the beach. The Oasis restaurant across the street is quite good also.

The guy at the counter seemed kind of strange and not very friendly. The breakfast was horrible, not even worth mentioning that they had one the blankets and the sheets were old and felt dirty.
