Stay was decent, while hotel is dated&needs upgrade as bathroom uses shower curtain, carpet and bed were tired due to much use. Room was spacious&very functional and fully equipped with kitchen hot plates, appliances, utensils and washing machine/dryer. However Sofa bed was broken and shower curtain needed a change but all staff were great and catered beyond with all requests. Breakfast buffet was lovely and prepaid is $24 instead the $30 walk in price. The fantastic reception, dining, security, housekeeping staff and the convenient location are the winning factor making one overlook the hotel flaws. Parking was great at $20 per night with access straight to room floor. Pool and gym were decent but we had no time to use them.

The pool area was terrible. Water was cold. They said jacuzzi will get warm once you switched on. I did twice and yet it remained cold... Secondly during booking it was not mentioned for the deposit to be paid. They take heavy 200 deposit and then while check out they said end of the day it will be released. Bad service

Place was clean - a bit of street noise can be heard. Did not realise that carpark was extra on top of the accommodation cost. Boom gate broken so you had to press the call button for staff to open the gates when entering and existing the place.

Firstly i previously called to ask the height for the parking. Was told 2.5mtrs. Get there sign says 2.7mtrs. Our vehicle id 2.3 metres. Why then did we hit one of those heightswinging bars? Also the breakfast said fried eggs on the sign but it was scrambled eggs that were barely warm and the bacon was stone cold. Also it never stated in the advertisement that the shower was over the bath and that makes it hard for someone with limited mobility. The bed was quite hard and the pillows were worse. Definatly would not stay here again. 2.5mtrs.

Air conditioner didn't work properly and the tiny fridge that wasn't cold, so not really a 'Comfort Suite'. The advertised sauna does not work and hasn't for a while, and according to a staff member this has been known for quite some time. We had to pay a deposit in case of breakages and mini bar use, although there was no mini bar and the hotel already had our credit card details, and 3 weeks later I a still trying to sort this out as it is still Pending. There are far better hotels and serviced apartments for the price.

The reception area was lovely and the staff were very polite however that’s where it ended. The carpet in the 6th floor was disgusting and the hallway leading to our room had an awful smell. The room wasn’t too bad but the bathroom had hair in the bath and the shower was filthy. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The advertising photos are not representative of the actual rooms. The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced. Curtains didn’t close properly, pillows were awful. Bed sheets were dirty. Sink did not drain, so it kept overflowing. Service is terrible, you call reception and nobody picks up. Rooms are very dirty and dusty.

The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed inhad a very loud fan/motor noise humming all night, continuously. Very hard to sleep with the noise. The light in the bathroom was dismal, very dark. A number of the light fittings did not work. Very average place.

Food was okay but upon arrival we got a call from the hotel tried to call the reception back. No one answered when we arrived. Someone was just out the back but no one answered the phone which was very frustrating. Pillows were okay but very stiff to sleep on.

My partner arrived at the hotel only to be told by the receptionist that his room had been cancelled by a third party who we never even booked through. It was 10pm and he was left there with no room, receptionist was rude as I could hear her whilst I was on the phone with him trying to help resolve the situation. I never received any emails or any other form of communication to say the room had been cancelled. It took over half an hour to sort it out, I had people from Expedia trying to call reception as that’s what the lady at reception asked us to do, she didn’t answer any of their calls. I’m really disappointed and will definitely not be booking this hotel again. I said I had proof of the booked room and she said even if I sent proof she couldn’t do anything because it was cancelled on her end. Not happy

Very disappointed with the hotel and service here. Would not stay again and would not recommend. The only positive is that the hotel is very close to the train station for ease of travel. Hotel quite run down. Towel rack in shower was covered in rust. Service was non existent. First room we were given the main light didnt work. We were moved rooms. We requested for our room to be made up and it was not. Tried calling housekeeping, then reception and the concierge and no one answered the phones. Went downstairs and informed reception the room wasnt made up and we requested new towels. Nothing was done to address this. Our rate inclided breakfast- we went to get breakfast day 1 and were told to take a seat and then staff left and no one came and told us about breakfast or how to order it or where it was. Very disappointing experience.

The service from staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and presented nicely. The Wifi was fast, and the hotel is located in a place that is easy to get to and also easy to get to where you need to be. However, some aspects of the property need work. The hallway leading to the room had carpets that looked like hangovers from the 1980s. The bathroom was a bit old, with a shower curtain over a bath. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

Mantra Parramatta is a good and convenient place to stay very close to everything I always stay at Novotels but this time I gave a go to Mantra. I booked using my account but because I have to work from 7am to 7pm I put the booking under my wife name so she can check in early, after finishing work I meet my wife and gave he key card and we agree to meet for dinner so I can have a shower and leave my heavy bag at the hotel in the meant time she will look for a nice place for dinner after a long day and week, went to take the lift the key card did not work, went to the reception and with a rude manner the receptionist told me that she can't activate or check my key card because is under my wife's name the booking which I found reasonable, but what I found professional is the fact that she told me in the rude manner told me that I have to bring my wife so she can confirm that I am who claiming I am also at that moment a security guard moved close behind me, I went to look for my wife and she told me tell the receptionist to call me so I went back and she told me to call from my phone because abiously it was my account, my wife confirmed but my night and mood was already negative. I think it lacks of good customer service and people on the reception specially that lady that served me neds to trained to be more open minded and smart looks like the area around is not secure as you dont have a security guard at a regular hotel, desapointed yes very much

Great location. We went to a game at Olympic Park. Used the train. Very convenient. Shopping centre and buses were close to the hotel. Able to park the car at the hotel and use public transport. Very pleased with how it worked.

Very clean place, no heating, receptionist on arrival went on like a robot, I had to ask him to repeat what he said because I was filling out the form when he kept on going what he was saying. While overall the place was OK, I should have double checked if dining was available. No dining , no bar , no minibar and nothing much in the area close by. There is no guide in the room as to services and restaurants nearby. There are no clear labels as to howe to scan for parking or indeed where your room is located ( Signposting non existent). Easy to end up in the wrong lift and part of the building. Im guessing that this is now the new standard of customer service ! The windows ar not double glazed so all night we heard freight & passenger trains going past 50 metres out front. I'll give 3 stars as the room and bed were a good size and comfortable.
