My only issue was they have a hot tub not a jacuzzi....no bubbles. So you are basically sitting in a bath with other people. It looks to me like it use to be a jacuzzi. That is my only issue with this hotel. Everything else was great.

Breakfast and coffee bar was great! Loved the fire pit outside! Staff was great. However, the toilet was very low to the ground and grab bar would have been nice. The water is the shower did not get hot. Good overall though.

the POOL was the highlight of my stay with the fire pit. the staff were so amazingly helpful, nice, cordial and respectful. the property is overall a place i will highly recommend and will return to. THANK YOU!

We really loved the location. It was easy to walk the main street in Fredericksburg. Also, the pool was lovely. Our room was spacious and we were impressed with the balcony! It was larger than most hotel balconies.

The tub faucet was hard to turn off and the wall behind the toilet is horribly disfigured from water damage. The floor to the left of the toilet is spongy. Breakfast options were great and plentiful. Convenient to all local attractions and parking is generous.

There was a horrible and unbearable smell to our room when we arrived. Most of the evening we spent in our in-law's room until late night. Staff said they were booked and unable to move us to another room. They also said that they would notify their manager and that the manager would be in touch. However, we have yet to hear from them. There were dead beatles all over the hallways, and the benches in the dining area were so worn, I thought we were going to fall through. The staff however, was very nice. I understand that they are limited on what they can do in situations like ours. But, we would not book at this specific hotel upon our next visit to Fredricksburg.

Appeared that the shower door had a leak for sometime as where the metal trim met the floor was very rusted. Also the elevator inspection displayed in the elevator indicated that it was inspected January 3, 2023 with the next inspection due January 3, 2024. Didn’t instill much confidence if the establishment is neglecting critical inspections.

Room was underwhelming. Property need to take some pride in the room appearance. Curtain/shades had stains on them, microwave was tilted because shelf was broken and some of the towels had stains on them, I'm sure they were clean, just stained. Not a bad property, I just expected a little nicer from Hampton Inn & Suites.

I had a room with a balcony which I highly recommend. It was super quiet with the exception of the loudest of loud trucks going by. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn't wake up early enough for breakfast, but I'm sure it's like every other Hampton. The area where the hotel is situated is far enough away to avoid a lot of people but close enough to mingle with people if you so choose. This will be my go to spot whenever I'm in town.

I realize it is Pet-friendly. I would of preferred a room no where near dogs. They barked so loud you could hear them down the 2nd hallway. I would stay again, if it is possible to have a room away from animals.

Worst bed I’ve ever slept on. We didn’t stay the 2nd night because my back hurt so bad. Air conditioning was noisy and never cooled off the room. So dissatisfied.

We have stayed at this hotel several times but this time we had a balcony. It was great. The bed was comfortable but they need to change the pillows out. The rooms needs a little updating but overall it was good. Breakfast was great. Lots to choice from. Overall stay was great.

The floors are super noisy. Person upstairs walked around and you could hear everything. Traffic noise is also very bad. No sleep for two days. Better off looking for another place. As we are.

I don’t normally complain but we were disappointed in this hotel (Hampton Inn is usually one of our favorites). After checking in we noticed the thermostat on the wall wasn’t working and the air conditioner sounded like a plane was taking off, plus it would run about every minute or so and then would stop for about 20 minutes. I asked the front desk if we could switch rooms. She told me that since the room was paid for by a third party, she couldn’t just move us to a different room. She said she had one other room like ours but it was booked. There were 3 floors in the hotel so I find this hard to believe. I assume if you go thru hotels.com you get a subpar room and there are only a couple of those rooms available. I guess the 100% satisfaction promise doesn’t apply to people using a third-party vendor to reserve a room. Will keep this in mind in the future.

It's my favorite spot to stay. The balcony truly is a game changer. I finally woke up early enough to have breakfast and I was very impressed. There are several different toppings for the waffles and the egg omelet was really good. There's a lot of variety available which I appreciated. Plus, it's very close to shopping but in a spot where there won't be crowds constantly walking back and forth. It's a great spot to stay.

The hotel and grounds were very pretty, the location super convenient but quiet since it was set back from the main road with a courtyard out front. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. We will be reserving again for our return trip.

They stated that Expedia had sent two reservations, and tried to force me to pay for two rooms. I contacted Expedia and I only had one room reserved. The general manager was rude and said that there is nothing she would do. I stated that I’d despite the charges and wouldn’t pay for the extra room and told her she could sue me if she liked. I felt like they were coming fraud against me because I used a third party and it was spring break.

The only issue I have is it seems when I arrive there's no one at the front desk so that I can check in. I wish the front desk had something to notify them that I or someone else is waiting so I'm not standing there for ten minutes or more. Other than that, I've always enjoyed my stay. Having a balcony is a huge plus and I always enjoy sitting outside watching the traffic. At night though because the heat is brutal.

Hotels.com did not have a payment on file for me so the hotel canceled my reservation and gave my room away. Neither hotels.com or the hotel called me to confirm payment. When booking my reservation I selected I would pay at the hotel, only to get to the hotel and they tell me because the there was no card on file and my reservation has been canceled and they no longer had a room reserved or available for me. Why would y’all offer me the chance to pay at the hotel and then cancel my reservation. This was very inconveniencing as I had booked the hotel for a girls trip. And still today no one has reached out to me about my reservation being canceled or me not having a card on file.

The breakfast bar was ok. Oatmeal was watery, eggs were powdered eggs but otherwise everything was exceptional. Complimentary snack bags were very much appreciated. Afternoon cookies, coffee and/or tea was such a great surprise and treat. Very much appreciated.
