Comfort Suites Forsyth near I-75

Had a long drive was looking forward to the hot tub, only to find out it is broken! Hotels need to stop cheating people and be honest when something is down! I spent extra just for a hot tub!!!!

The hotel was very gross. Everything is very dirty. The inside of the room was ok. If we wouldn’t have booked a nonrefundable room, we would not have stayed. The hot tub was still broken (seems like it has been for a long time). The pool was clear but felt slimy. The workout room had no air flow and was hard to breath. BUT the breakfast was EXCELLENT.

My itinerary stated check in was 2:00PM. I arrived at 2:15 and there was no one at the front desk nor anyone to be found on the first floor. A lady came in and said she had rented a room for a party and we would have to go to the Clarion next door and tell them we were here to check in. I was very concerned about security at this point and tried to find a room in another hotel but wasn't successful. There was a sign on the ice machine telling you to go to the Clarion next door for ice also. I was on the 3rd floor. The next morning when I went down there was a very dirty small cloth cooler with a sign saying ice on it. The pool did not look inviting at all so we did not use it. Online at Expedia it stated there was a marketplace there. There was an area for such but everything was empty. The elevator was dirty - floor had not been swept in awhile and there were puddles of water from people leaving the pool. We had to be very careful not to slip on the water puddles. I feel this place was misrepresented on the Expedia website. I wish I had taken picture so I could upload them but I didn't. I could have stayed at the Clarion cheaper but choose Comfort Suites because room entry was inside, however I would have felt more secure at the Clarion. I will not be a returning customer. As a matter of fact I would like to request a partial refund as the property was not as represented.

One of the amenities I wanted for my stay was a hot tub However the tub was out of commission which was very upsetting I brought it to the attention to the staff and they were helpful in making it right

Pool was closed that is why we booked this hotel. We were in the middle if a trip stopped to stay and let kids swim but pool was closed.

Wayne was great on check in. Parking is very limited but he helped get us a spot.

Room was clean and comfortable. AC was fine. Some things were out of order and not being repaired in our 4 days there - including the spa hot tub, ice makers on each floor. But the breakfast was great, with choices even for me with food sensitivities. There was scrambled eggs and breakfast meat every day along with a wide variety of typical offerings of biscuits, waffles, and cereals, etc. We had a relaxing stay.

They advertise heated pool and hot tub. The pool was not heated (or it is and they just didn't have it turned on)and the hot tub was out of service and gross. They did not have any pool towels in the pool area so it was a good thing we had extra towels tjat we brought. The ice machines were down. All of them. We had to walk across the parking lot to the next motel to get ice. Bed was comfy. We chose to stay there for the pool and hot tub. So, that was disappointing. The room was clean but did not smell clean. The telephones were disgusting, the one on the desk looked like it had a years worth of dust on the cord. AC works GREAT! We like to sleep cold so that was a bonus. Linens were good, bath towels and washcloths were good. We liked the set up of the room. Overall its was a good average experience.

The bed was uncomfortable. Check-in took way too long and the person who was doing it appeared to have been asleep when we got there. We waited over five minutes for someone to even show up to do it. Parking was a joke and not convenient to the hotel. Multiple spaces were taken up by what appeared to be broken down cars and a boat trailer.

This comfort inn like all the others was a great hotel to stay however the pool and the hottub were broke as of September 7th. I was told they would try to have it fixed in a couple of weeks. I was on the 4th floor and got a great view of interstate 75 and the lights and stuff. Also i saw a beautiful sunset. The rooms are nice they have a large Tv,mine had 1 king sized bed,a sofa,microwave, mini fridge,desk,bathroom,shower,soap etc. There was plenty of lighting with lots of lamps,a closet with a place to hang your clothes etc. They have a pretty good breakfast with sausages,eggs and other hot foods along with biscuits,cerials,juices and so much more. The lobby is nice looking and it has some cold ice lemon water which is free. There is also an elevator,washer,dryer and ice machine. The room i was in was clean and the bed comfortable. I recommed staying here. Its also very close to High Fall State Park. I cant add photos because that feature is broken. The link wont work. Nothing happens when i click on it.

There was a pill and dead bugs on our carpet- the tile was sticky so obviously it was not vacuumed. The shower was filled with black mold and the ceiling had a leak and patchy. The bed did have clean sheets and was comfortable. We had 2 rooms and both were the same gross feel. One had very questionable stains on the chair. Definitely don't take your shoes off.

1st room towels had bodily fluids and fecus on them. Toilet wasn't bolted down and tipped when used. Front desk wasn't able to address issue besides moving us into a different room. No management on duty or on call till Monday. The second room drain in bath was slow. During shower one would stand in a foot or more of standing water.

It was not very clean. We even found a note from a previous guest that said "clean your nasty *** hotel" that housekeeping had obviously not found. There was very little toilet paper in both the room and in the bathroom by the pool. The hot tub didnt work and they said they didnt have enough towels to put any in the pool area.

Our family stayed at this location. The room, bathroom, refrigerator, hallways, and elevator are run down and dirty. Run down is manageable, but dirty is not. The floors all needed a scrub and the corners were full of debris. The tub was dirty and the toilet seat had pee stains. I didn’t check the mattress because I didn’t want to know. The lobby was closed at check in and we had to check in at an adjacent property. The lobby was empty and poorly lit on arrival. Despite this, the breakfast was good and managed by an attentive staff member. This space was clean.

Just filthy

The bathroom had mold and was leaking water. My whole family had respiratory problems after a single night in this room.

It is one thing when hotel rooms I’ve seen better days and furniture is a little worse for wear, but this place is beat up, moldy dirty and gross. Would never stay here again there is no excuse for keeping even a run down room clean. I’m not even sure the sheets have been changed from the last guests!

Room was not clean one towel had blood on it another towel had some other stain, dirt in the corner of the room mouse feces in corners. toilet leaked. Overall hotel was not well maintained

Arrived @ 1500 w/ reservation confirmation stating we could check in @ 1400. Got room key after 1700. Rooms had mold, smelled of mildew, had multiple holes in walls, some patched w/o color matching, Cockroach found in bathroom the first morning. Returned first day to find our keys were wiped & we could not access the room. Went to front desk for assistance & saw sign that said there was no front desk staff & to go to the hotel next door for assistance. Went next door & identified my key issue. Noticed that 2 card keys were in a sleeve with my room’s number on the sleeve. Had to go back to the check in desk @ my hotel to get my card keys re-programmed. Low on breakfast supplies. Waffle batter came out slow as though it was empty, no “fresh” juice, it was in boxes in a small fridge, eggs, sausage, & gravy for biscuits were edible.

Checked in around 10p, one overnight stay due to the hurricane. Coming from OH and back into Fl. Asked for a late check out, got only extra half an hour. Eggs and sausage were not good at all. Bathroom floor was dirty, hasn’t been properly swept in a while. King bed was pretty comfortable. AC worked. Housekeeping supervisor that checked us in was pretty nice. Shower was hot. WiFi was lagging. Lots of stuff on the floor around AC unit.

Very easy on/off the expressway. Lobby in good shape and pool looked inviting. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were dated. They were clean but heating/cooling units made loud noises. Had to move from original room because even when powered off, it made a horrible noise. Staff was great but clearly rooms need investment. Bathroom tub was peeling away.

We ended up with a late check-in after sitting in traffic for hours, and we were met with friendliness & efficiency. The hotel isn’t super easy to find without GPS, but who doesn’t have GPS nowadays? Room had everything we needed.

Room was large. Enjoyed having a couch to relax on.

The room itself was a good place to sleep (comfortable beds microwave refrigerator etc. Staff were friendly. Got a good night’s sleep and am ready to continue my trip.

We love Comfort Suites in Forsyth, Georgian. We’re building a new home in the area, and stay there when we come up. On Expedia we usually get a king suite for $61/night!! One king bed, sofa, microwave, coffee maker, minifrig. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Freen breakfast in am has scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, juice, fruit, yogurt, and of course coffee. Not a 5 star hotel. Needs second elevator, and repair of ice machines (only one works (2nd floor) and only one set of washer/dryer - also on second floor, and reasonable ($1.50/wash;?$1.00/dry). Some room phones don’t work. Staff is friendly and helpful. For $61/night this place isca gem!

I booked this room for my sister who was driving from Ohio to Florida after having been with her dying mother. I booked online for her and she gave her card for incidentals. She was told the card was declined, which wasn’t the case. The wins. At the front desk refused to try it again or to even try her husband’s card. She was very rude to my family and wouldn’t even let them check in. They had to leave and go elsewhere. So yes, the very short stay spent in the lobby was in fact terrible.

The lady (Melody) at check in was amazing since Expedia dropped the ball on checking us in. She was so patient and kind while dealing with us AND Expedia.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! The absolute worst front desk person we have ever come across in all of hotel stays in history. First, it's false advertising when they say they have a hot tub, then you get there and get told it's been broken for a few months. Then you get told that no one under 18 can swim in the pool without supervision so when you say one of the kids is 18 and the other is 17 so they're good to go then you get told that they still need an adult because the rules are posted on the wall, which only says children must be accompanied. Then when you call this person out on the wall thing they say they are calling the cops, which they do and when the cops show up we get told we have to leave. All this after we have paid for the room. Then they would not give us a refund so we were out $115. This front desk woman should not be in a position of customer service and this hotel should be put out of business. Not joking.

I cannot believe the experience that we had at this hotel. 30+ minutes to check in because no one was working the front desk or the desk at the sister hotel next door. No one answered the phones, but someone eventually showed up. Got to the room, 4 towels provided for 6 guests. Kids went to the pool, hot tub was closed. No towels for pool, had to use room towels. Asked for more twice, they had none all night. So not everyone could shower because we had no dry towels. Those that did shower, discovered that the shower leaks so bad that it spills out under the bathroom door into the room, which explains the extensive water damage. The whole bathroom smelled of mold. When the pullout couch was made into a bed, you couldn't walk past it to get to the bathroom, which is not only frustrating but likely a safety issue. The breakfast area was nice, decent variety but the food is what to be expected for a free breakfast. The hotel appears in decent shape at first glance, but is in desperate need of repairs.

By far one of the best places to stay in Forsyth. Was very clean and I observed staff continuously walking around and cleaning/touching up day and night. I have stayed here for 9 days so far and have enjoyed every moment. For me what sets this place apart from others is the staff. They all see to take pride in their jobs and truly make you feel like family. One young man really stands out for me. He always addressed me by name and wanted to make sure everything was going well. So Ray, thank you so much for making my extended stay here so much fun and really enjoyable! I wish you all the best and take great care, sincerely Mr. John.

Bed was good but this hotel needs to address upkeep, pealing paint, enamel coming off tub, mold in bathtub, carpet needs cleaning. Location and entrance to hotel needs improvement was difficult to see.

This hotel is good overnight stop. It is just off of 75 South exit 185.

It was good for one night but I wouldn’t stay here for longer than two. It’s a little outdated and the parking was horrible. Not enough parking at all. Breakfast was okay.

Easy check in. Facility is very run down. Pool not available. Area feels unsafe and isolated Staff friendly

Conveniently located right off of I-75. Clean, comfortable and a great staff.

The receptionist at check was very nice and professional. Overall, the building has a few wear and tear spots. Nothing major, but if I can notice them, so can anyone else. The room was clean enough, but the TV screen looked like it had been locked up in a Smoking room for a long time. Bed was kinda hard to sleep on and the pillows were kinda flat. But I bring my own pillow with me when I travel. The side door by the pool wouldn't allow us to key card in. I told the receptionist, but it was never fixed by the time we left. Breakfast is 6-9 each morning. They had hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties and potato logs. Instant grits and oatmeal. Bagels & Muffins. Milk, yogurt and orange juice. Also a waffle maker. The lady that works and maintains the breakfast area is such a sweet person. She goes out of her way to make sure you have what you need. Plus, if you miss breakfast there, Shoneys is right next door within walking distance. They have a excellent breakfast buffet and the wait staff is very good at their job!

The hotel room felt sketchy, none of the ice machines were working, and the coffee—served in an extra small cup—was cold. The bagels tasted stale, and to top it off, no one was at the front desk during checkout. Another employee told me to just leave the keys on the counter, which felt uncertain and unprofessional. The overall atmosphere felt dirty and uncomfortable, especially knowing it was connected to a sister motel next door that looked even more rundown. There were also quite a few homeless individuals hanging around the area, which added to the uneasy vibe.

The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was good also.

Staff was good at check in and breakfast no juice at breakfast, but staff was great. Our room was great, large and had room for all 6 of us.

We haven’t used Comfort Suites in a few years but can see they have really gone down hill. Really need refurbished and cleaned. Staff shortage was obvious. The Breakfast wasn’t very good coffee machine broken no juice no batter for waffles no one around to ask. In general a bad experience.
