The property was decent. The pool had dead bugs and debris floating in the pool. The next day they attempted to clean the pool, but there were still stuff floating in the pool.

Check in was quick and friendly. Coffee available even after 6 o'clock. Also had time for the pool. It was clean and refreshing. Work out room was well stocked and clean. 2 treadmills mills for my wife and I to do together.

Overall very pleasant and would stay here again. Pool is very clean and gym has basic variety. Breakfast is usual fare. We were here for a scrapbook retreat and used the conference room. The scent of Fabuloso is a little bit overwhelming in the hotel. They need to swap to a different cleaner.

Clean, well maintained, newer or remodeled property. Lots of parking. Breakfast was very adequate and food was tasty and well presented. Nicely decorated and staff friendly and easy to work with. Some traffic noise on front of building that tapered off into the night hours. Off an access road, but very safe surroundings. Would recommend for families and travelers.

The exterior of the hotel was very nice and inviting, and the staff was kind. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. When we first walked in, it smelled musty. Since it was just a one-night stay, we turned the AC on and hoped it would help. By the next morning, the smell was still there and we realized the AC had mold. The shower also had mold around the edges, and the wall behind the door had paint literally melting down. Overall, not what I expected and I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was spacious and would have been one of the best we stayed in on our trip. However, it wasn't well-kept. There was mold growing in the bathroom. The walls and ceiling were patched in several places and painted over poorly in the wrong color. The chair has a serious mystery stain that made us not want to sit in it. My son's blanket on the bed had blood on it, and the drawers were grimy. If it had just been clean and well-kept, it would've been great. The hotel looked new and looked like it would've been nice.

The reviews are deceiving....this hotel was in bad condition! Upon arrival it looked decent at night, check in went okay (there was no friendly welcome but I can look past that), but the true hotel conditions started to show as soon as we got on the elevator. The elevator was dirty and had lots of cracked floor tiles. Arriving on our floor it was the same conditions as the elevator, with an overwelming smell of a cleaner or odor remover. Our room was next to the elevator so I didn't go far down the hall, but the wall next to our door was missing a large section of trim. Upon entering our room, I could immediately smell cat urine, upon entering the bathroom it looked okay, after flushing the toliet the water turned brown, I had my child flush again but it was still brown. I thought maybe they had a water line repair and told my family not to drink or shower in the water. When we got further into the room there was duck tape on the floor threshold between the tile and carpet. At first glace the beds were decent looking. There were lots of wall and ceiling patches that were not painted or covered. Our regular hotel procedure is to check the beds for bed bugs (which we did not find...so that was good) but we did find orange peels, and baby toys behind the king bed! The sides of the matress had stains and there were stains on the carpet that could be seen. Overall the hotel was unkept, unrepaired and I will not recommend anyone to stay there until repairs are made correctly.

Well, the gentleman at the front desk was very nice, I originally walked into the hotel to an extremely overwhelming smell of marijuana so much so that the front desk personnel was walking around, spraying some thing around the entire lobby area more than once because the smell was so strong and overwhelming. I’m not sure how that even happens in a public area like that, but in addition to the horrible smell of the hotel room was dirty with stains still on the toilet and debris and dirt on the floor

Ugh. Lobby looked good. Room, particularly shower, was beyond disgusting, mold all around, gunk and grime, funky smell in room. For $130 a night, i expected better than a 1990s coffeemaker. Of course, i expected a clean room and shower too. Dropping this chain from any future hotel stays.

Flithy. The floors were covered in filth. Blood on the walls. Dirty band aid stuck on the floor. Hole in the shower curtain so big that water sprayed all over the floor while showering. When i reported the blood to the front desk I received a we will make a note for housekeeping.

Overall everything was super . They even kept breakfast open for us a few minutes late (look out it closes at nine am!). Only thing negative was the floor in our room left anyone who went barefoot with black feet… and we have a crawler so that’s just a bummer but nothing too big esp if you just wear your shoes

Need a flashlight to see and select your clothes in the closet. Missing lightbulb in overhead light in bathroom was promised to be replace three days in a row but never done. Very dim lights, wife had to go to the window to apply her cosmetics.

Decent location. Bed was pretty comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice pool area. Gym was small but had a good variety of equipment. We did pay for an upgraded room with a Jacuzzi tub but it was dirty and the water came out yellow, so we couldn't use it. (The water from the other faucets seemed fine, only this one was very yellow and left a gross ring around the tub. We were unable to use the Jacuzzi at all) Also, we were taking a nap during the day, and we had our do not disturb thing on the door. Housekeeping and another staff member knocked on the door very loudly at 2:00 p.m. just to ask us if we wanted to exchange our towels. Incidentally the other staff member had the key card in her hand as if she were about to enter the room. I told them that we could exchange towels and they told us to put our old towels outside of the door, and it took them 2 hours to bring us replacement towels after they banged on the door and woke us up for no reason. I reported this to the front desk guy and he said he would make a note of it, but I don't know if he actually did. I think we will reconsider staying at La Quinta inn locations moving forward because this is probably the third time something like this has happened with an upgraded room or with housekeeping staff entering the room without warning while we are in there.

This hotel was great after a long day of driving. The bed was very nice, the room was clean and the walk-in shower with glass door was a nice touch, rather that the hotels that are stuck in the, lets update the rest of the place but the shower situation. The only two complaints I have are first, when we checked in, I booked a King room with a pull-out sofa bed, and paid the extra to get that room, they tried to give me a 2 queen when checking in, and that didn't work for us. They did however switch it and gave us the room we paid for, so all was good, it just shouldn't have happened when I paid for the king room, and they tried to switch it on me. The second complaint I have was that the sofa bed we did get was fine for my 13-year-old because we could cover it, but it had stains all over it, which I was not a fan of. If we were staying for more than one night I would have asked to be switched or something else, but like I said it was one night, and my daughter was fine with it being covered as it served its purpose. Overall, the hotel was very nice, the breakfast was better than any other hotel we stayed at on our vacation and I am glad we chose this as our stop on our way back home.

I stay at La Quinta a lot because I have a dog, but this one was sub par. It is right next to the highway and the noise from the trucks and cars is horrible. I didn't sleep at all. Also. one of the lamps was not working beside the bed, the handles were falling off the drawers on the nightstand, and the floors turned my feet black. It wasn't pleasant.

My stay was decent. The hotel lobby was inviting. The couch in the first room I was assigned was stained and woefully past its usefulness. The second room was better, but the shower glass was improperly installed with a gap between the wall and the glass which caused a leak on the floor every time we showered. On the last day, someone tried to enter our room with a NO KNOCK/ NO ANNOUNCEMENT protocol. We still had an hour before check out time.

When I first arrived I already booked on Expedia , when I got there, there had been people waiting for idk how long over an hour I’m sure , I thought they worked there that’s how long they were waiting there . I finally got checked in and went to my first room , the elevator smelled bad , mind you I had covid and haven’t been able to smell for 2 years . I can smell really strong smells so you know it was bad . Got to first room , room 324 . It had no sheets and still had coffee stuff everywhere as to if someone jus left their mess there , wasn’t cleaned . I went back down to the front to let the lady know . She then upgraded me to a king suite , Room 416 . I go in that room and it literally smelled like someone died in there . The bed wasn’t made and there was soda cans everywhere , still piss in the toilet . DISGUSTING . I go back down to tell the lady . She goes to put me in another room , that she wanted to check before I went, and then said it was okay . Room 405 . That room was okay but I was jus uneasy after the other two that they don’t take care of their stuff . The heat didn’t really work I went to get snacks and the lady jus gave it to me Becuz of my experience. The Hershey's candy bar was expired . Worst experience at a hotel ever . Don’t go here

Highly disappointed in this hotel and LaQuinta. After driving 12 hours from Detroit, we arrived at the hotel at 2 AM, which we had booked and fully paid for 48 hours prior, the lobby was dark and there was a handwritten note on the locked door saying they overbooked and that all reservations were cancelled. The parking lot was barely halfway full. I did not receive any notice of this other than the door. When calling the desk to confirm, the female employee was short, rude, and highly unprofessional. Do NOT waste your time booking this hotel, they have terrible customer service and will let you down!

I was only supposed to stay 3 nights here and wound up extending my stay twice so I was there over two weeks. The staff hospitality exceeded all the previous places I have stayed at combined. Our room was phenomenal and it seemed like there was always someone there making sure everything was clean. Have you ever been so impressed with some of the staff that you took them out to dinner to show your appreciation? Me either until I met Ray and Kyressya. If you are planning on staying in Forsyth, this is a must stay place!

They gave our room away. We arrived after 11 hours of driving, only to find they did not have a room for us. Well, actually they first checked us in and gave me a room key. We then unloaded our things and our dogs, walked to the room and the key would not work. Turns out, there was already someone in the room. And they had NO OTHER rooms. We had a reservation! After 45 mins of standing there watching the lady at the front desk click on her keyboard, I finally asked her if she was going to have a room for us, and she said no. Just handled so badly. Shameful!

For the price, it was excellent. Great location, just off 75. Safe area, it seemed. Plenty of lighting in parking lot. Pet friendly. Front desk was courteous and efficient. Breakfast was decent. All and all, for a night’s stay - no complaints.
