Hampton Inn & Suites Longview North

It was really nice unfortunately I added two filters when searching pool and hot tub was a must but was closed for maintenance so that sucked

Whirlpool was down, pool water was dirty (and ice-cold). Had to switch rooms because the key receptacle on the door was dead and there wasn't maintenance available to change out batteries.

The pool had an oily film over it and clumps of hair/whatever floating on surface. The hallway floors had structural issues masked by carpet - fissures/4 inch wide cracks down middle of hall with soft spots and sink holes - a significant fall risk at best and indications of structural/foundational issues affecting the safety of the hotel as a whole, especially on the fourth floor! Room 409 The dark wood furniture in the bathroom was dusty/unclean indicating a lack of regular dusting. The bathroom vent was caked in old dust and clearly not cleaned regularly. The room had a musty, moldy smell when I first entered the room. It improved with a/c and air circulation but was still present, as my allergies were significantly activated throughout my stay. The bathroom floor had bits of toilet paper under the vanity furniture indicating lack of through cleaning between customers. My coworkers had similar experiences in both rooms 309 and 319, and similar hallway/structural issues on that hall as well.

I booked this hotel for their amenities like indoor pool and hot tub but both were out of order. The customer service employee said that there’s a part missing and it’s been ordered. Also the ice machine was out of order on my floor and I had to walk to another floor to grab ice which was slightly inconvenient for me. They had a nice selection for breakfast like fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, and premade omelets. The staff was friendly and helpful when I brought up concerns. The room I stayed in was a decent size.

The staff is friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the credit card system that delayed check in. Only one of the two elevators worked.

The bed was quite comfortable. Really enjoyed the hot breakfast. The only issue we had was the loud guest up above us stomping around all hours of the night. If I was planning on utilizing the pool, then I would have really been disappointed, due to the pool was closed for repairs.

Staff was very friendly. They didn't have hardly any snack/food or drink options which was a disappointment. The door leading outside in the pool area was broken. But overall, excellent stay.

Was good experience other then ice machine on our floor wasnt working pool was down for maintenance for some of our stay we didnt get to use it wifi was slow you have pay extra for faster wifi breakfast was ok staff was friendly and helpful

The staff were excellent, all of them! The facility was subpar. Upon check in there was a note on the counter indicating the pool was closed. There was a note on the door leading to pool and gym to not fully open the door as the door doctor was coming soon. It rained that day and so did our room. The window leaked. The tv remote channel button would only go in one direction. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work. Had to go down to first floor each day to get ice. On our second day, the ac unit started making terrible sounds, pool was still closed. Front desk said a part was ordered. Pool remained close the entire visit and the door doctor never came. This was just a fun girls trip that was dampened by a facility that needs attention.

Staff, Parking, Breakfast and cleanliness were all top notch! We will be back!

Found roaches in bathroom and crawling on me in my bed! Both weeks i stayed in the same room and roaches found both times

Staff was courteous and attentive. But… The morning coffee has a lot of room for improvement. Room was comfortable but the large cockroach greeting me in the morning was not cool. ADA room- handheld shower didn’t work.

The staff was not very helpful at all. The Hotel was just dirty. My room smelled like mildew, the carpet was damp/wet, the bathroom tiles were coming up and shifting every step I took on them because there was no grout left, and the shower had no hot water!!!!!

Opening the curtains the first morning after my first nights stay to find that my comforter was absolutely fitly so bad that I got nausea, I went to front desk they sent house keeping yet did not seem to concerned so I called on Monday following my trip to talk to the manager and after 3 phone calls and 2 emails and almost 2 weeks past my stay with them they still have done nothing to accommodate me, at the least I was asking for a discount for the night that was a night mare of extremely dirty bedding that I had slept on unaware till the morning light afterwards....I stayed 3 nights and only asked for a discount for night 1 and was told they probably could not do anything since I booked 3rd party... WHAT???? Now with all the time wasted and no response I was forced to make this public and asking for a REFUND NOW!!! The bedding folks was horrifying I will always turn on lights from now on the first nights stay to check the under half of the comforter etc....it had not been changed or cleaned in a long time....this was unacceptable but what is worse is they are doing nothing to keep me as a customer!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!

The rooms smelled like mildew, yes multiple because we switched. The carpet wet, the wood furniture had clearly been in moisture so long that it was warped.

Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Staff text messaging to patrons a big plus! Room 305 was clean but had several maintenance or neglected items. Mini Fridge freezer was a complete block of ice - unusable, TV remote most buttons were not working and programmed channels were not correct (Fox was Accuweather - no Fox available), Room phone was not working, Bathroom floor tiles in from of toilet loose, sink hot water handle parts missing, toilet paper holder loose and toilet seat loose. As we were a relatively late arrival and only stayed one night, these items were reported via text message and hopefully have been repaired/resolved as they are not up to Hampton standards.

Hotel was ok but shabby. Needs lots of tlc and updating. Wallpaper torn on wall. Burned out lights in bathroom. Less than good bedding. Tired and worn out. Staff was great.

Good breakfast & room amenities. However, we could not regulate the room temperature. It was too hot, even though we kept turning down the temperature. It was finally set at 67 but it felt like 87! I reported this to the receptionist on our way out. Everything else about the room was fine.

Price of room vs room and comfort - horrible. Pillows were so flat and uncomfortable, bed you could hear something pop when I sat on it and I only weigh 150. The room and bathroom is in great need of updating. Warped cabinet where the microwave and tv is. Bathroom, we only had two hand towels and no wash cloths. As we have been having to stay in hotels some, I see huge price increases on the weekend and the quality extremely low and not matching up with what we have to pay. We were not pleased with this stay.

Had to wait for our room to be ready even though we got there at 3:15. Room was freezing cold. Couldn’t get the thermostat to work so just turned it off.

One elevator was broke so took so long to get the elevator to where we were! And it was always packed full! Rooms were nice but the tv in one room didn’t work at all!

I come once or twice a month on business and i finally found a hotel i enjoy. Staff was great, gentleman that checked me in was excellent, the room was spacious but cozy, clean and a/c was very cold. The breakfast bar was better than most hotels I've stayed at. Plenty of selection to choose from. And lastly the parking, I drive a box truck and parking was excellent. This hotel will definitely be my go to from now on here in Longview.

We were only given 1 key. We were promised a second one and it never came. We requested more towels because we were not given enough for two people and we requested a DO NOT DISTURB sign because we didn’t have one. They were going to bring the items up and they never came. We had to eventually get the towels ourselves. The beds were hard and lumpy which contributed to my mom’s back problems and she is a senior citizen. They ran out of breakfast items and the breakfast they had left tasted rushed. The gravy tasted like flour. The juice was watery. The atmosphere felt like they were really cutting back. Checkout time was 11 and someone tried to come on at 10, but I was never given a DO NOT DISTURB sign to go on the door to let them know that I was still in the room.

The staff overall was super friendly and supportive of my brother and my stay, while we were home to bury our mother. Breakfast prep by Mitch was excellent each morning. The desk and housekeeping staff were the best and always courteous and professional.

Jose and the staff at Longview Hampton inn were exceptional. Will absolutely stay there here again upon visit.

Great location

This is located in a great area of many shops and restaurants nearby.

Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Convenient to several restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel is fine. Heb market close for snacks. Overall nice place.

So impressed with how the hotel handled losing power following a terrible storm. Great room for a great price. No power next day but they still obtained a breakfast to provide. Great service. Apologized for outage numerous times even though it was well out of their control. Longview is a great area to stay in, tons of food and shopping within 5 minute radius.

It was convenient and the breakfast was great. The bathroom and room door did show some wear and tear.

The rooms were spacious, clean and the staff was pleasant. The free breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel.

Great breakfast! Rooms or spacious

The good was the staff. The bad was the bathroom sink barely drained, one bar of soap, one coffee pod, only 2 towels, tv remote barely worked, and the milk for breakfast came out lumpy. Expected more for the cost of the room. We usually stay at Hampton Inns when we travel, but this one may cause us to consider others moving forward.

Room was humid, had an odor but beds were comfortable. No extra blankets, was freezing at night. Breakfast was ok, but tables were dirty & coffee was water down. Trash overflowing
