This was an amazing deal if you ever need an emergency overnight near FCO. The host meets you at the property. He is friendly and helpful but doesn’t speak English. He uses a translation app on his phone and all is ok. This guesthouse is old school - there is nothing modern or boutique about it, but it’s clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower is great and the TV works. “Breakfast included” means there is a tray in your room with packaged breakfast toast, jelly, nutella, etc. and the host shows you how to use the coffee maker in the kitchen. This neighborhood in Ostia is very local and not touristy at all. The beach is a block away.

Breakfast was a typical Italian on the go breakfast. Room was big. Staff was accommodating as we showed up after check in.

Staying near beach was my objective. Fairly easy to train to Rome. Fairly good dining at Tourist Port , Al Arcobaleno, Ostia Centro! Few people!
