Beach front hotel- very clean two pools beach bar

Ikke pengene værd. Vores største problem var, at der ikke er mulighed for at bade ved stranden foran hotellet. Standen her er dårlig, og solsengene ligger i skyggen hele dagen pga. palmetræerne. Og der var ingen liggestole ved poolen. Derudover var der en konstant vibrerende lyd på vores værelse pga. underboens aircondition. Vi havde meget svært ved at sove af denne grund. Vi kontakte personalet flere gange, men de gjorde intet ved det - eller forsøgte. Alle solsenge var en del af en separat Beach Club, hvor det ikke var tilladt at drikke eller spise medbragte varer. Det betød, at hvis man ville ligge her var man tvunget til at købe det hos dem. Og prisen var utrolig høj. Alt i alt et fint hotel, men bestemt ikke prisen værd.

our room was quiet, spacious, and private with a lovely personal deck featuring a jacuzzi hot tub. the beach area directly in front of the hotel is small, with a lovely bar/restaurant, "serenity." there are two small swimming pools. the staff were, without exception, very friendly and helpful, and kind to our two year old daughter.

So convenient to be beachfront and have 2 pools on the property!

Mycket trevligt hotell nära stranden med egen beachclub. Bodde i ett fint rum med utsikt över stranden och kvällssol. poolen på hotellets innergård användes inte då vattnet såg mycket grumligt ut och behövde nog rengöras. men ett bad i havet är bättre ändå så det spelar ingen roll för mig. Trevlig personal och mottagande, fin frukost och trevlig personal i baren på stranden. rummet var städat och rent

Staff were helpful and super friendly. Breakfasts were good with daily rotations. Beach, palm trees, pools and sunbeds were great. Super walkable to the center, restaurants. Lots of dining options, market, food stands and entertainment if you choose. Hotel Restaurant food was ok but pricey. Couldn’t bring own food/drinks onto sunbeds by beach. Finding sunbeds was sometimes challenging. Room accommodations were clean, nice. Rooms for 4 are near the back, doubles are near the beach. Roads are dirt/sand, leave shoes at the door to keep dirt to a minimum in rooms. Would definitely stay here again and would love to go back!

Holbox Islands are beach front hotels the town has sandy dusty uneven roads. Lots of bars restaurants and nightlife options. It has a quieter and chilled vib compared to Cancun and Player del Carmen. The hotel is nice clean and has a rustic feel. The two pools are small and disappointing. The beach area is small and the swimming very shallow.

The hotel was neglected. Nothing related to the pictures. The main pool was closed the whole week. The place is dirty and rundown.

Die Unterkunft hat ihre besten Jahre leider bereits hinter sich, da alles etwas älter ist. Insbesondere müssten die Bäder mal wieder renoviert werden. Die Zimmer sind von der Einrichtung her OK. Leider war die Sauberkeit der Zimmer nicht wie man sich es vorstellt, insbesondere war der Fußboden sehr dreckig, so dass man hier lieber nicht barfuß läuft. Zur Entschuldigung muss man sagen, dass die gesamte Anlage aus Sandwegen besteht. Entsprechend trägt man den Sand auch in die Zimmer. Die Lage ist super. Sehr idyllisch. Direkt am Strand und die Beachbar ist klasse. Zudem ist man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum. Nachts kann es durch ein benachbartes Hostel laute Musik geben. Hat uns allerdings nicht weiter beeinträchtigt. Das Publikum im Hotel ist bunt gemischt. Von jungen Paaren, Familien und älteren Eheleuten. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Muy lindas las instalaciones pero con falta de limpieza e higiene en la habitación. Dejaron la bolsa de la basura del baño sobre los cepillos de dientes. Los vasos usados no los retiraban y se quedaron sucios durante toda la instancia.

Room was spotless, right on the beach.

The bed sheets had yellow spot stains and there was a lot of dirt/dust under the beds. The towels where also stained but staff was very nice and friendly

Wonderful hotel, clean rooms, amazingly friendly staff, lovely beach. Close to town center.

Property is clean except for the beach area. Rooms could use some upgrading. The bathroom had mold on the wall and the shower head was clogged for the most part. Walk out the front entrance and there's standing water with trash everywhere. The staff was more than helpful with the exception of a few from the beach bar.

Sauberes Zimmer,direkt am Strand und ruhig

This is the second time staying at this property. We were put in two rooms, one on first floor 101 and one on the third 304. The air conditioning in 304 did not work properly the entire time. They recharged it twice but it would only last for awhile. Room 101 air was very good but they heard alot of noises in that room. In 304 they provided ear plugs which is because you can hear music from other properties. The breakfast is good. It is convenient to downtown but if you want a little more stay in what is considered the hotel zone. Rossana in the bar/restaurant was very helpful

I get it…. A boutique hotel. You go for peace and quiet. It was definitely quiet. I wish there was, at the very least, 1 TV on the property. Especially in my room… I like to zone out and fall asleep to a TV in the background. It’s definitely quaint and has the basics you need. The best part is that it is beach front and very walkable to everywhere. I was obviously overcharged at around $250 a night. At that price I expect a lot more bang for your buck. Pictures look way better than the place in person. It needs updating. Still had a good time though. Staff were super friendly.

Great staff, hotel very comfortable. Just know that if you have kids there’s no tv in room… which is not a big deal in a place like that. The only thing I wish was different was the pool hours they close the pool at 6:30 pm, I wish was later. Also.. if you have kids the business next door gets very loud at night. The hotel is very kind and provides ear plugs but is good to know in case you have a kid sensitive to noise.

I enjoyed the view from my room it was breathtaking. Our housekeeper was the best we were there 7nights and she exceled in keeping our room clean. One thing I would suggest is getting a good handyman because the tables in the balconies are wobbly and chairs are falling apart but overall we had a great vacation and the location was perfect.

Holbox dream is beautiful. Gorgeous grounds, lots of coconut trees, a few lights, it's own racoon. I received a room at the front of the hotel, the fardest from the beach, so I didn’t see it at all. I walked down there every day, and it's pretty, but the only time the mosquitoes don't eat you alive, when the sun is the highest. It also was full of sargassum on my last 2 days, that just baked on the sun. In spite of the small beach access from the hotel, it wasn’t cleaned up. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy any time outdoors after the sun set, because the mosquitoes are literally unbearable. Even after applying a bottle of mosquito repellent. Hotelbis very clean, the ladies did a fantastic job every day. Not sure why they had to take a dozen pictures in the room of everything, daily. The room, bed is very clean and comfortable, but the shower is extremely slippery, being all stone, i think very dangerous. I only have 1 negative I have to mention, is how terrible the food is that comes out of the restaurant. Frozen pizza crust, heated meat on top, mediocre tacos, and the worst "fruit juice" i ever received. It was so bad, I actually had to send it back. It wasn’t wayered down, it was all water with a little juice for flavor, sold as fruit juice. It was yuck. The place is very nice, just go eat somewhere else. I really didn’t like that they close the pools at 6:30.

Nice staff. Really enjoyed Javy who was great. We were in room 2. Only had hot water one day out of four. Room clean and spacious. Beach small and covered with sea shells unlike other beaches we were on. Air conditioning was fine and easy walk to town. Food and drinks at bar were good. Lack of hot shower would make me not stay there again.

Staff and location were great. No hot water. Hubby got it turned on briefly twice, but mostly cold showers for us. Poor lighting in room. Bed was stuffed in a corner, making it difficult for one sleeper to get in and out of bed and without a light or table access. Not enough drawer space. Some really loud electrical/mechanical noise in room at night. Went up to desk to complain each night and by time back to room it was turned off. Did not sleep much at all first 2 nights 2nd to this. Not a $300 per night experience.

Excellent my only question room #25 not TV. Why? First time been in a hotel with not TV on the room. Love the service, food and view of the beach.

The manager Augustin provided me the worst service I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Shame as the rest of the staff is quite nice. In general, hotel is just ok. Definitely not worth the price charged. Beach beds are all in the shadow and pretty close to each other. Breakfast is very basic. Location is convenient.

El hotel es muy lindo y super bien ubicado, el personal es muy amable salvo por una chica de recepción, eso creo yo porque es muy joven y quizás le falta experiencia en atención a clientes pero de ahí en fuera todo muy bien

Unfortunately this hotel was a big disappointment. Service from staff was very bad with the exception of Valeria at the front desk and Javi at the beach bar. Also, there was no hot water. Showers in room were luke warm at best. Also, internet was very spotty, most days it just didn’t work. This was our second stay on Isla Holbox and this hotel just didn’t measure up. Great hotels are right near by though - Hotel La Palapa (excellent!) where we stayed on our previous visit and the Tierra Del Mar Hotel (where we will stay in our next visit).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holbox Dream. The room was very clean and maintained daily. Front desk was kind and helpful. The onsite bar staff was amazing. Roxana was very helpful with drink choices and recommendations. Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit!

The hotel is near the beach but the weather was bad. The street near the hotel is dirty and holes with water. The town needs infrastructure.

Beautiful location and perfect service only one issue techno music from nearby location until 3:30 every night It's not unbearable but you can hear it may want to bring earplugs.

Good and clean property. The only downside to it, whenever it rains the whole island gets flooded and it makes it hard to be able to walk around. However the hotel itself it was very nice and clean. Very friendly staff.

It was a good location a two minute walk to downtown just two blocks away

I liked it was next to the beach and close to restaurants, bars and stores.

Room was OK. Beach was very nice. Location perfect. everyone on the staff was amazing especially at the beach club. Great job by Javi, Roxanne, and Lili.

Breakfast is great but starts at 8. There is no reason you couldn’t have JUST coffee available in the self serve at 7. It would avoid the huge crowd at 8. Some people just want a cup of coffee.

Excelente servicio del personal, lo mejor. Lo calificaría como excelente sin embargo una de las habitaciones no funcionaba correctamente el Aire Acondicionado pero lo repararon, la opción de cambio de habitación no fue posible porque estaba a full el hotel por la alta demanda. Mejoraría el desayuno para incluir chilaquiles y huevo fresco (no industrial) y más variedad de alimentos. la atención es muy buena en el área de bar y alimentos por el personal, atención cálida. En recepción falta más calidez del personal. El Gerente en turno de nombre Víctor, muy profesional, disponible y atento, Felicidades. La estancia estuvo muy bien a excelente. Recomendable!!!

I took a group of 9 including both my daughters and my Mother on this trip. The Hotel Staff was great. They helped with the taxis and kayak rental. The Breakfast and Coffee were wonderful. I would defiantly stay here again.

We stayed for 6 days and it was a great experience. We had stayed on Holbox several times before and Holbox Dream met our every need. The rooms were very nice, we didn't need a TV at all. Bathrooms and showers were well done. The breakfasts were a surprise, wide selection and great service. The front desk crew were all aces, ready to help with every need. We spent at least 3-4 hours per day on their beach, on the lounges, swimming, reading, and people watching. The service from the bar from Roxanna, Javy, Max, and Jose was excellent. We ate our evening meal at HD 4 times, table by the water, feet in the sand and the Holbox sunsets in front of us. The food was very good buttered shrimp, fish, pasta, all very well done. Our favorite food was our shrimp Ceviche we enjoyed every afternoon. We will be back!

Ubicación cercana a la playa y al centro de Holbox. El desayuno ofrecido no cuenta con muchas opciones ni vegetarianas y mi hi menos veganas. Los jugos son todos artificiales, siendo que uno esperaría un jugo natural, al menos el de naranja.

Small boutique hotel right on the beach… enough comfortable beach loungers without getting up too early to reserve! Excellent food and cocktails right on the beach and 2 minute walk to all the action, but quiet place to retreat. Management (Augustine) and service (Javy and Max) outstanding! Rooms modern/rustic, lovely and clean, hammocks on most balconies! Excellent WiFi and full delicious breakfast available…chimichangas were my favourite!
