Nice and well located hotel in the town of Lourdes. It's really close and at walkable distance to the Sanctuary and other attractions. Staff at the lobby was nice, friendly and helpful with suggestions about the city. We were happy to have the option be attended in English/Spanish as our French was not so good. The hotel offers a parking lot for free at about 0.25 miles (~400 meter) away, however, public parking lots are available just in front of the lobby, if the lot is available, for 12 euros/day. In summary, a very recommended option when staying in Lourdes.

Not a very good breakfast compared to other hotels during this week long trip thru Spain France and Portugal. Its convenient due to location.. but the parking is a good 500 meters to an empty open lot behind houses. Seems to be safe thought. No issues

The Padoue Hotel was comfortable and clean, with helpful staff. It is wonderfully located, just a short walk to the Grotto and Basilica. It rained most of the time we were in Lourdes, and thank goodness the Padoue was so well situated. Also, the lights went out in Lourdes and emergency lighting on the stairs was very helpful. One comment though: the free parking is a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with Lourdes. It would have been more convenient to pay for street parking just in front of the hotel.

The Hotel is in a fantastic location. Easy walking distance to the shrine. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurant is great. (You need reservations). Hotel is quiet and room is good size. Quick 5 minute cab from Lourdes train station

Hotel Padoue is very close to the Cathedral. Nice area and excellent bar service. Be aware that if you are not part of a group your may have to wait for dinner options. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was a easy walk from the grotto of Lourdes. Several shops and restaurants close by. Parking was quite a long arduous walk from the hotel. Great breakfast on site.

Great to stay back at hotel padoue. Hotel reception area lovely. We arrived late at night so not aware until following day that we didnt get much daylight into room. We had a shelter above us and looking out side street to a derelict hotel. Unable to see sky which during a weeks stay. Room was ok, a bit on small side but had a walk in shower that we requested. The toilet needs fixed it made a loud noise every time we sat on it. The bedside light broke in the room and was reported numerous times both at reception and on phone but noone ever came to fix it. It made a dark room even darker. The cleaners literally fixed beds and changed bins but no othwr cleaning. Had to leave a note to ask for fresh linen and also ring for toilet rolls and soap / sink to be cleaned. Breakfast staff amazing and breakfast great. Coffee machine a bit tempermental. Bar area lovely and friendly staff for a drink or coffee. Very close proximity and one of the best hotels to stay in at lourdes. If we were returning id ensure we got a room looking out to front of hotel.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with all requests. I would recommend the hotel to anyone!

The staff is great but the cleaning crew was horrible. These was lots of hair underneath the bed covers, the cups at the sink had a thick old toothpaste ring inside and the upper level bathroom had a horrible BO the would not go away. Pretty nasty.

Awful stay, they should refund the money. We stayed 2 nights. After first night we left the room after 3 and they have not cleaned the room; I went to reception and ask why and to make sure they did, I was told they haven’t finished and not to worry, they assured me they would clean. We came back after 7 and the room was not cleaned. I went down again and was told housekeeping had left. They gave me a couple of towels and an apology. MLL

La réceptionniste était aimable, leur parking était fermé, on nous a dirigé sur le parking d’un autre hôtel ( très bien) par contre nous aurions pu être prévenu qu’il fallait 20 minutes pour revenir à l’hôtel prendre nos bagages car la rue était en sens unique. La chambre agréable mais le ménage superficiel ( poil dans la douche). Quand au barman, il ne semblait pas heureux de nous voir arriver pour prendre un verre. D’ailleurs il a oublié de nous donner des amuses gueules avec notre cocktail, je lui fait la remontrance mais ce n’est pas pour ça qu’il nous en a ramené car trop pressé de partir en pause dîner. Le petit déjeuner n’était pas de tout à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles ( café goût d’eau, jus d’orange en machine, personnel débordé , le buffet n’était pas réapprovisionné, il a fallu demander)

This hotel was good. Not great, but good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is, again, good but not great. The bed was a bit of a disappointment. We booked a room with a big bed, but in reality it's two single beds pushed together. And they're not connected to each other, so beware of the gap ! I booked this 4-star hotel hoping it would have a small jacuzzi or spa, but unfortunately nothing of the sort. To end on a positive note, the location is fantastic.

The hotel was fine for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was close to any attractions you may wish to see. The only complaint we have is the bed/pillows. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were so thin they felt non existent. We had a very poor night of sleep.

We booked a hotel with an airconditioning no matter what the temperature outside is. The airconditioning at the hotel was not working. It was still hot when we got there and the staff has different explanations. We wanted a room that is cold when we got back from walking outside but we never got this. Instead they brought us an electric fan and allowed us to open the windows at night which is cooler but the problem is the noise outside stops around 2 to 3 qm and starts very early. When we talked to the assistant manager named Claudia, she said she can’t do anything about it and would not give us any partial refund to compensate for the trouble. Instead she was rude. Didn’t even apologized. Even asking me if I was hot in the lobby. Which is not the point. The point is you advertised your hotel to have an airconditioning so it should have one. Or rather that you have an airconditioning but it only emits hot air. The other staff members admitted that the airconditioning is not working . One time even brought us coke in the room because it was a hot afternoon and was very hot in the room. Breakfast is the same eveyday. You could get a more sumptous bfast for 15 euros /head that they charge , outside .

The lady in front desk of African ancestry was the best person in Lourdes. The hotel room A/C are switch off but she gave us a portable fan with heater. We paid more for this hotel due to A/C but they won’t switch it on claiming weather is cold. Toilet and shower is in separate door

The property is excellent. I have been here for 2 consecutive years now and been staying for 3days each time during spring break. It is very close to the sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. I always take my 75 year-old mother in a wheelchair while visiting the place and find it so convenient moving around fro the hotel to the Church . The staff of the hotel are awesome. They are so friendly and always willing to take extra mile in serving the guests. They always go far and beyond in giving us a relaxing and worry free stay. Pierre is so amazing and his customer skills always exceeds my expectations. Looking forward to stay again in this hotel next year for the spring break.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Padoue while in Lourdes. The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable! We slept great! The restaurant is good as there are not a ton of food options on the street or nearby. We especially loved breakfast! And the hotel provides a map of other great restaurants in town which we ventured out to. And they were not wrong! Ultimately, this hotel is incredibly convenient if you are looking to be down in the basilica of Our Lady of Lourdes a lot. It’s a very nice stay!

There are several similar hotels around this property which are all very conveniently located for the Sanctuary. The room was fine - I was upgraded to a suite, which for 1 person for one night was not necessary. Check-in was chaotic, and understaffed. Consequently, I was charged for two breakfasts, even though I was only one person, and I did not realise until afterwards. The hotel refused to refund the Euro 15 overcharge, when Expedia asked - just bad faith. They only had one passport at check-in, and are obligated to have id for every guest. Incidentally, breakfast was a very average buffet, and since I had an early start, I was there just after 6am. No one appeared until 6:45 am when I had had a very average buffet breakfast, even to check me in. Many other guests were in the same position. Also parking was never offered.

Clean comfortable hotel. Ideally located close to the grotto and church. Short walk to restaurants. My only complaint was that the free parking advertised was not onsite. If you want to park near the hotel you have to pay. Felt a little like bait and switch since I booked this hotel specifically for the free parking
