Room was not clean. The bathroom floor was not mopped from the last people and there was hair left all over the bathroom floor and earwigs crawling. The pool and hot tub area was disgusting. Bugs in the hot tub and ants n other bugs crawling along the walls and webs everywhere. Bathroom in the pool area was nasty as well. The whole stay was disgusting

The staff was very friendly. In the Hotel is a Hot Tub and a pool with warm water. We like the good breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. In the laundry you can wash and dry the clothes. The hotel is very quiet.

Check in was so friendly and welcoming, the rooms look over the river and were clean and spacious (there is some minor repair/maintenance needed, our bathtub had slow drain and loose fixtures but did not affect our stay!) We used both the pool & hot tub, great temps and very clean. Breakfast was a step above continental, with sausages and eggs, and staff was very busy keeping it fresh and clean. Overall we were incredibly impressed for the price.

The beds were clean. The countertops were so stained. Water that wouldn't drain in the bathtub when we entered room. Hair dryer was broken. The stairs going up to room was so dirty, ripped carpet, cigarette sitting on stairs. The rooms and stairs need lots of renovation to replace worn out items. People at desk were nice, but I wouldn't stay there again.

We didn't stay here. When we finished showering and were getting ready for bed, we found bugs on the walls, floor, and even the bed. I took pictures and went to the front desk to tell the receptionist that there were several bugs in the room. He said he could change our room, but I told him we couldn't trust any other room and we checked out to another hotel. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn Express. We didn't stay at the Riverland Inn.

The view was nice, but the windows were a bit high, so the extra money booking a unit with a balcony might be worth it. The beds were comfortable and the flooring and fixtures were recently updated. The toilet seat was loose. The desk was wobbly due to a broken cross/support piece at the back. The breakfast was mediocre. The warming bin was not hot enough to keep the eggs and sausages warm. The cleanliness in the unit was suspect, with a hair on the toilet tank lid and a bit more hair with a squished bug leaving a bit of a grimy mess next to the coffee maker. The biggest issue was an apparent infestation of silverfish. First, I saw one in the bathtub in the morning and then a dozen or more visible through the lens of the bathroom ceiling light fixture, with several alive and crawling. Due to this, I would not recommend this motel, and would not stay there again.

It was pretty bad, barely looked like they cleaned the room after the last guest. Hairs, toothpaste residue, and general dirt was still very present. The state of the room was awful, needed several repairs and the furniture showed clear damage.

We had a mouse in our room they did nothing about it . We maged to trap in in a cornner . It was running around at night and we even had it in our bed .

Room had so many bugs. Our other friends had a mouse in the room. Talked to the staff and all they did was say sorry. Didn’t feel comfortable sleeping due to the bugs in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable. We arrived rather late for our check in as we were working late out of town and the staff was very accommodating with our late arrival. The soundproofing was great, you could not hear other guests or the highway whatsoever. The bed was very comfortable the pillows were perfect ( something I am always rather picky with). For the price the room was really good, absolutely loved the in-suite jacuzzi.

Located beside a river, the middle floor is best for river view but the 1st floor is great if you want to hang out in front of your room which have lounge chairs. The Reno in our room is not finish & is missing bedside lamps. The bathroom is missing a TP holder so you have to constantly look for where it is, missing the fan cover as well & therefore a bit loud & face cloth is not provided?!? I had to ask the front desk. Because of the Reno the room has a film of dust. The towels are stained,frayed & quite worn/old. They have ironing board but it’s stored in the only space to hang your clothes & the iron have something sticky on it. Having a kitchenette is great & breakfast is decent which is a bonus! I still think that this place could easily be a 5 star once they finish the Reno,I just wished they were upfront about it so I could have opted for a different room or maybe a different hotel altogether. Their pool is quite dirty (cloudy water) & has a strange smell so we skipped both hot tub & pool. A bit disappointing! Wish Expedia mentioned the Reno taking place.

The lobby and our room were great. WIFI not so great. Breakfast had a lot of options and made it easy for all to decide what to enjoy. We were worried about the train being nearby but we never heard it during the night. The mini fridge gurgled all night.

The room itself was very nice, clean, and spacious. Felt like it was newly remodeled. Good bathroom and has all the amenities. Happily surprised that there was complimentary breakfast as I was not expecting it. The hotel was on a river which was nice, but the other area around it was not amazing. Some of the outer parts of the hotel did not seem the most renovated, but since most of our time was in the room, it wasn’t a big issue. Used the hot tub and pool which were nice but also not the newest.

The staff at check-in is not friendly. We had two encounters with the same person. We are older people, and she was wearing a mask, making it hard to hear. She would get upset when we asked her to repeat what she said. Either talk louder or remove the mask so we can hear you. The only reason for giving two stars in place of one star is that the guy cleaning the room next to ours was so helpful.

Staff: all fantastic, friendly and kind. I saw a breakfast attendant heat up some milk for a guest. It was very nice to see. Location: on the river. The outdoor area is very nice to have some take out food with a lovely river view. Room: the smell in room was quite unpleasant. The AC unit in the wall is extremely loud, so loud that even with the ear plugs it’s hard to sleep. Some rooms exit directly on the parking lot and some, lower level floor rooms have access to the front lawn adjacent to the river. Kitchen/kitchenette: very well stocked with dishes and plates. Bed: clean bedding and adequate mattress. Bathroom: newly remodelled with a soaker tub and a nice shower head. The bathroom is also nicely stocked with single use toiletries and clean towels. Breakfast: I had some omelettes and sausage. It was very good considering the price of room. Overall our room was large, and well appointed and the this property has excellent potential. However, if you don’t like very noisy AC in the room as well as somewhat noisy fridge and a lot of light at night at river front room, this may not be for you if you’re seeking a good quality sleep.

First off the property was under construction. Secondly I had a contractor is his key and just come into my room just as I was getting ready to have a shower when I complained the front desk just shrugged it off as it was a mistake even though it was there responsibility to let the contractors who which rooms were paid for. Secondly the next morning I was sitting outside at the table and one of the contractors had just left a master key unattended on the table and was no where to be found. Very unsecured and the front desk staff didn't seem to care . Horrible experience

Loved our one night stay here. They have a nice patio at the back to sit at and bring your own snacks and drinks. There is a river right behind the property. Restaurants are at least a half hour walk away. Continental breakfast was good (and included). Outside looks a bit tired but our rooms were nice and renovated.

The location is great ... well within walking distance of the arena for the concert we saw. We walked back to the hotel late (just after midnight) and had no concerns with safety.

The property is situated conveniently for access from the highway, but it is on the edge of an industrial area. The nearest bars and restaurants are a little way away if you are walking, but 20-30 mins and you have access to a variety of choice and prices for where to eat.The room we had was adequate for our needs, but a river facing room would have been nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful even when busy.

Location was nice, right on the river. Room was a bit smaller than we are used to but it was fine for a few nights. There was no sitting area, no chair in the room but outside there was a big area with lots of chaise lounges and a big area with barbecues and nice patio tables and chairs. The motel sits right on the river with nice views. Rooms were clean and the shower was good. The breakfast was not great. Eggs seemed like powdered or reconstituted and the sausages were overcooked…both were barely warm. No yogurt. Breakfast room is way too small for the size of the motel! People had to sit with their food on their laps in the lobby which is also small. Staff was lovely and the place was quiet…no train noise which is unusual for Kamloops! A bit of noise outside from traffic on the bridge but not noticeable inside. We would definitely stay here again. Be aware, they do not respond to emails. We booked through hotels.com and tried through there as well as directly to the hotel…no response either way!

Accommodation was very good. The only down was the breakfast. The hotel was very large, but the breakfast room was just that, a room. If all gust arrived at the same time it would be chaos. Only sausage and small egg pancakes available, with bread and bagels cereals and fresh fruit.

Perfect for a tourney weekend with 2 kids. Got two rooms for what most other places cost for one. Nothing fancy, but it’s just a place to sleep. Breakfast was great. Just time it right as it’s a small space
