Beautiful views of the sea, with lovely gardens plus pool and jacuzzi. It was a bit difficult to find due to construction on the road and there wasn’t really parking to speak of near the hotel; dragging luggage across cobbled sidewalks was not fun. But the hotel itself was lovely.

Mooi hotel, goede locatie, hotel bevind zich in een doodlopend straatje dus lekker rustig. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht geboekt, heerlijk wij hebben er echt van genoten. Ook de schoonmaak service is helemaal top. Het ontbijtbuffet ook prima. Wel iedere dag hetzelfde maar genoeg keus om niet iedere dag hetzelfde te eten. Prachtige tuin met bubbelbad. En om de hoek bij ander hotel een infinity pool waar je gewoon gebruik van mag maken. Hotel uit en op ongeveer 400m zit je al op het strand.

Great views and easy walk downtown or down to the beach below. Having a hot tub was a nice option. They have access to a pool as well but we did not try it, but it looked great. Room was decent, nothing amazing but no complaints, nice to have A/C after some of our stops did not.

I loved the view and breakfast and the friendly staff. The hot tub was wonderful. FYI-you have to walk around to access the pool, it is not on the property. The bathroom did need a tile update, but for the price, it was wonderful. I would stay here again if I am ever back in Portugal.

Die im Netz vielfach zu lesende Kritik am Frühstück wurde wohl aufgegriffen. Wir fanden es umfangreich. Allerdings waren wir 1 Woche vor Ort, da hätte es schonmal was anderes als gekochte Eier geben können. Für Veganer findet sich eigentlich nichts. Kein gedünstetes Gemüse, veganer Auftstich, etc. Ein absolutes No go in der heutigen Zeit: alles in kleinsten Plastikverpackungen, Butter, Marmelade, selbst Essig und Öl in kleinen Plastikbeuteln. Negativ fanden wir, dass der Pool 4 Grundstücke weiter ist und es bis zum Strand, außerhalb des Geländes doch ein Stückchen zu laufen ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Anlage sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und ruhig. Die Aussicht traumhaft.

What a lovely property! Tucked away in a back corner off a busy street. Grounds were lovely. View was amazing. Rooms were tidy. Breakfast was good, nothing amazing but covered the basics. Very convenient to the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops. A nice little surprise!

Tout est parfait dans l’hôtel. La vue, l’acces à l’océan, la propreté, le service, le parking, restaurant, petit déjeuner. Vraiment, je recommande très fortement. Par compte, l’insonorisation des chambres c’est pas terrible dès le matin, nous entendez tous les voisins marcher dans le couloir et toutes les portes claquées difficile de faire la grasse matinée.

Die Gartenanlage des Hotels ist wunderbar, sowie die Aussicht aufs Meer. Damit sind wir mit den positiven Aspekten bereits am Ende angelangt. Unser Zimmer war klein, der Ausblick nicht erwähnenswert und der Geruch nach Schimmel setzte sich in allem ab. Bei Weitem nicht das was wir erwarteten und den Preis niemals wert!

The location was awesome in the sense that it's right next to the beach and to town with a ton of restaurants. I would just say the hotel itself was a little lackluster. Nothing wrong or bad, just compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Portugal for the same price, there just wasn't much to it. I would also say our bedroom smelled kind of musty and odd.

Très bon séjour. Hôtel de petite taille, calme et cosy. Nous avions une très jolie vue mer mais la chambre n est pas spacieuse et manque cruellement de rangement y compris dans la salle de bains plutôt petite ( nous y avons séjourné une semaine et n avons pas pu défaire nos valises…) Le petit déjeuner est très correct avec des produits de qualité et un joli cadre avec vue mer. Nous avons apprécié les extérieurs joliment aménagés ainsi que le jacuzzi. Un verre de bienvenue nous a été offert à la piscine à débordement vue mer de l hôtel voisin … Trés agréable Bref un Excellent séjour reposant ! Merci à toute l équipe de l hôtel !!!

Lite svårt att komma till med bil pga läget och hopplöst tungt att släpa väskor över kullersten i 38°C. Helt ok i övrigt, men en hiss, bättre kuddar och ett fungerande wifi hade inte skadat.

Das Hotel hat ein umfangreiches Frühstück geboten: kleine Auswahl Aufschnitt, Marmelade und Honig, verschiedene Brotsorten, Milch, auch laktosefrei, 2 Kaffeemaschinen (Nespresso), Tee, Müsli, frischen Orangensaft - alles perfekt. Tagsüber bis in den Abend hinein konnte man an der hauseigenen Bar Getränke erhalten. Morgens konnte man sowohl draußen, als auch im Haus frühstücken. Auf der Außenterrasse könnten allerdings die Möbel erneuert werden. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer zur Seeseite sind wunderschön mit einem großen Balkon, auf dem Tisch mit Stühlen und 2 Sonnenliegen stehen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Im Badezimmer könnte etwas mehr Ablagefläche sein. Insgesamt fehlen im Bad und Zimmer Wandhaken. - Die Lage ist perfekt: kurzer Weg zum Strand und auch in den Ort. Der kleine Garten ist tip top gepflegt und bietet viele Möglichkeiten sich dort aufzuhalten - es gibt Sonnenliegen, eine schattige, windgeschützte Sitzecke und eine Korbmuschel. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

This location is beautiful. The view is unparalleled! There was construction which made parking a challenge but hte staff helped us to figure out how to geta spot. We will be back!

Mooi hotel, goede locatie, hotel bevind zich in een doodlopend straatje dus lekker rustig. Wij hadden een kamer met zeezicht geboekt, heerlijk wij hebben er echt van genoten. Ook de schoonmaak service is helemaal top. Het ontbijtbuffet ook prima. Wel iedere dag hetzelfde maar genoeg keus om niet iedere dag hetzelfde te eten. Prachtige tuin met bubbelbad. En om de hoek bij ander hotel een infinity pool waar je gewoon gebruik van mag maken. Hotel uit en op ongeveer 400m zit je al op het strand.

Great views and easy walk downtown or down to the beach below. Having a hot tub was a nice option. They have access to a pool as well but we did not try it, but it looked great. Room was decent, nothing amazing but no complaints, nice to have A/C after some of our stops did not.

Beautiful location, close to the Beach (Praia de Mareta). Nicely furnished, excellent breakfast. It does not have a private Parking, but it is easy to find a place nearby for free. The entrance is kind of hidden. On negative ide, htere were mosquitos in the room, probably due to lack of nets on the balcony door. Also, I would have liked to have a stool to put the luggage, that we had to put open on the floor.

Mareta View was great. The views are incredible and we were so happy to walk into our room and find a patio with an amazing view of the ocean and cliffs, lounge chairs and all. After traveling for a week in some very crowded cities and walking 40 miles, this was a very welcome space where we could retreat and have a couple of low key days. The property is beautiful. They have many lounge chairs/beds in their courtyard area plus a hot tub. You can tell they work hard to take great care of the space. Daily breakfast was included with our stay and there are quite a few really good restaurants around. The beach is a few steps and there is also a little trail behind where you can explore the cliffs. Also, the fort is about 1/2 mile away and you can easily walk to it. The property is in a great area of Sagres- center to everything you need and want to see but also the area is not too crowded. The one thing to remember is this is an independently owned hotel in a remote area, so it just won’t hav the amenities of high end city hotels. We thought it was great and really enjoyed our time here!

Très bon séjour. Hôtel de petite taille, calme et cosy. Nous avions une très jolie vue mer mais la chambre n est pas spacieuse et manque cruellement de rangement y compris dans la salle de bains plutôt petite ( nous y avons séjourné une semaine et n avons pas pu défaire nos valises…) Le petit déjeuner est très correct avec des produits de qualité et un joli cadre avec vue mer. Nous avons apprécié les extérieurs joliment aménagés ainsi que le jacuzzi. Un verre de bienvenue nous a été offert à la piscine à débordement vue mer de l hôtel voisin … Trés agréable Bref un Excellent séjour reposant ! Merci à toute l équipe de l hôtel !!!

Die im Netz vielfach zu lesende Kritik am Frühstück wurde wohl aufgegriffen. Wir fanden es umfangreich. Allerdings waren wir 1 Woche vor Ort, da hätte es schonmal was anderes als gekochte Eier geben können. Für Veganer findet sich eigentlich nichts. Kein gedünstetes Gemüse, veganer Auftstich, etc. Ein absolutes No go in der heutigen Zeit: alles in kleinsten Plastikverpackungen, Butter, Marmelade, selbst Essig und Öl in kleinen Plastikbeuteln. Negativ fanden wir, dass der Pool 4 Grundstücke weiter ist und es bis zum Strand, außerhalb des Geländes doch ein Stückchen zu laufen ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Anlage sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und ruhig. Die Aussicht traumhaft.
