Hotel is falling apart. Toilets are run-down and do not flush. We moved 2 rooms and saw that they have the same problem. You can hear other customers repeadtely flushing. There are weird sounds coming from the plumbing. Elevator seems ancient, jerky, noisy and struggles to open/shut.

This is one of the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Friendly, helpful and kind staff. Beautiful hotel with lots of areas to sit and relax. The room was great. Had a big balcony, comfortable bed and lots of amenities (including requested ones). Food was great at Gabriel’s and room service was excellent. I got two free cocktail drinks thanks to my Gold status with Expedia. Cute spirit store selling UT Austin merchandise. No complaints at all. Just a lovely hotel stay. Enjoyed the pool, too.

We were a bit disappointed that the pool was not clean and not heated so the kids couldn’t swim during our stay. We splurged for this hotel & it’s a bummer to not be able to enjoy it as advertised. I want to post this for other families so they can call ahead & check on the pool status before booking.

Decent property. Liked the location for a concert at the Moody center. Also very close to highlights of campus. Front desk staff was always very helpful and kind. Only complaints were musty smell in the room and a towel that was a little dirty/stained... made me question the cleanliness of the room.

We had a great time during our stay! Room was comfortable. Service was great, employees very accommodating and courteous. It was close to the Moody Center and we were able to walk back to the hotel after the concert. Cons: One of our towels was dirty, we could hear our neighbors speaking, and the tub had a defect near the faucet. Also, parking/valet cost was unappealing, but a consequence of staying in certain parts of the city. Overall I recommend!

Easy, secure self-parking in garage at the hotel. Quiet, cool, clean hotel with everything we needed. Bed was great. Location basically on UT campus could not be improved upon. We walked everywhere from here: all over campus, Guadalupe, even to the capitol (1/2 mile).

Overall was great! Great location for Texas Gameday! Room was very clean. Parking was easy. Restaurant was great. Great little gift shop. Only complaint was the room did not cool well and the fan would not stay on, so warm and stagnant. Other than that, everything was great!

Great Stay! Easy checking in close to everything, especially campus. Had a room with UT Tower view—pretty at night! Great restaurant/breakfast with incredibly friendly staff and good food. Front desk, staff was amazing, answered calls very helpfully, and provided extra pillows quickly. Can’t complain about anything, although the beds were a bit on the soft side, but that’s all personal preference.

Convenient to UT Austin. Gabriel’s restaurant Med bowl with grilled shrimp..Outstanding!! The hotel walls I’m assuming thin walls..you can hear other people and cleaning services (grateful) but start very early. So if you’re waking up early..great place. And if you’re wanting rest and you’re a light sleeper like me take ear plugs..I forgot mine. They gave me an extension of 1 hour because I was waiting for my son from Camp Texas. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Easy to get to-and-from Moody Center for a concert. Grateful that was able to get an early check-in and drink vouchers for the restaurant downstairs. Rooms are comfortable and roomy. Bathroom/Shower is a little dated but not bad. We got a weird view of the construction going on behind the building and luckily we didnt get any noise from it.

Staff at front desk Ariana was super nice. The rest of the staff were so rude and we even got kicked out early bc of a noise complaint when we weren’t loud. We also got kicked out bc we were smoking ? Then they switched it to “ we smelled like smoke , we had asked what type of smoke bc we weren’t smoking they said just smoke. They were looking for something to kick us out . Please do not come here they were so unprofessional and so rude

Great hotel, easy walk to the Moody center and the capital building, rooms were clean and hotel staff were great. Only issue was the restaurant down stairs. The food took forever to get to us and they were not busy, the food was not great, and the staff were dismissive. Very disappointing considering we loved everything else about the place.

Visited hotel night before Knee surgery (on crutches). Valet showed hours that would conflict with what time I needed to leave to make my surgery time. Was told be night manager that it wasn’t a problem that someone would be able to get my car. Morning staff was not willing. Instead my wife had to follow a Bellman to the Valet lot to get the car. AT&T quit caring about customer service years ago. Now it seems that extends to the Hotel as well. This place is not the same as it was years past.

This is our 4th time staying there. Always convenient when you have things to do at UT. We didn't get the VIP perk this time for some reasons. Also there are construction activities happening next to the hotel as it is the case throughout the city these days. So can be annoying particularly if you use the parking garage or the room is located on that side of the building. Other than that our stay was as usual great. Friendly staff and housekeeping on point.

The construction was so loud we couldn’t sleep in. The noise woke us up out of our sleep around 8am while on vacation, and it lasted ALL day.. we left the hotel to get breakfast since we couldn’t sleep and to try and get away but when we came back it was still going on. We couldn’t even take a mid day nap or watch tv it was so loud. I didn’t like that we were not told that there would be construction so we could have the option to book somewhere else. The loud noise is just not something you want to deal with on vacation.. when I called the front desk the lady wasn’t concerned at all.. she said she could MAYBE move us but it would be 2 or 3 hrs is the reason we decided to get up and find somewhere to go. Just unacceptable because that was NOT a cheap hotel. They definitely should have refunded us for at least one of our nights stay.

We came to Austin to see a concert at the Moody Center. The hotel was easy walking distance to the venue and had great views of the UT campus. The breakfast buffet had great variety and was definitely worth the price.

Wish that the restaurant The Carillion stayed open later. Our show ran long and missed last seating 11 pm would be great instead of 10. Also the elevators smelled funky near the pool fitness tower where we stayed. Also wished there was MORE light in the rooms! It was so dim. The staff was very positive and friendly.

One of the nicest business hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The facility is beautiful, it’s quiet and BIG PERK it has real restaurants! Their breakfast was great, choice of menu cooked to order or buffet. Really tired of “free buffet” breakfast and junk food hanging on the wall. Best sea bass I’ve ever had.
