Rosarito Beach Hotel

Elevators were out of service and some pools. Jacuzzi at spa out service as wells.

On our first night, there was a power outage that we didn’t have AC 10pm-0345am. It was rough! I loved that there’s 2 different pools to chill at.

Have a good time, pool was out of service. Other than that it was nice to stay there.

The jacuzzi's were dirty and some didnt work. The internet didnt work in our room. Couldnt use the email.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Our stay was in early November and unfortunately, the weather was cool during the day and cold and very foggy at night. These suite rooms did NOT have any heat, although the room AC fan was on constantly and could not be turned off. I am 5'8" and the toilets seating height were for much shorter people. Also, the toilet seat/cap would not stay up in either bathroom. Guest parking is a challenge. However, dining was very good. It's biggest plus is the location, by the beach and next to various shops and restaurants. The lack of heat in 60F weather is a primary reason for the 3 stars.

The ocean view is beautiful but the property was in remodeling including the swimming pool "if you want to rest this hotel is not the best place

Rooms were clean and very nice. A big issue here is that only two elevators work with one broken down. The elevator for parking lot is also broken down. We did not get any water bottles neither. The pools were nice but we had no waiter help us on the pacific tower side. We actually had to move to the other pool in order to get served. Place is nice but little details can be improved.

Nice view. Ac unit working well. Clean. Friendly staff. 3 Tesla wall connectors for charging. Only 2/3 were working though.

The location was great easy access to beach, pier and food, pool was dirty and left a blue tint on sons white shirt means they threw some dye in it.. main thing is jacuzzi was not working was luke warm which should be hot.

The only thing me and my wife didn't like was that the pool (all 3) was cloudy I have a pool and I keep mine so clean I can see a dime heads or tails from the bottom of the pool, in your pool it was so cloudy I saw a couple from my balcony standing in the pool and I couldn't even see there feet. So we didn't even go into any of the pools.

The pier is currently damaged so not entirely accessible. The rooms were not very clean, there was food left in our fridge and also a full trash can. For the amount being charged we expected a bit more care.

The room was very dirty floor and it smelled like cigarette also keep, calling the front desk to let them know about that and also heather was not working and they would not come up to my room had to go down to let them know all they did was gave me 2 blankets it was very irritating

We open the bed blankets the covers, and we find out that the beds are pretty stain and dirty

Room issues with front desk, broken glass in the room, beds are like 30 years old and sinking in them, outdated, room floors dirty.

This hotel is extremely run-down, dirty, and has a strong, unpleasant odor—almost like a dump. We requested to change rooms, but the one they offered was just as bad. Even the housekeeping staff admitted that the rooms smelled, blaming it on the “new curtains,” which didn’t make sense. We do not recommend staying here. When we asked for a refund, the staff refused to assist us. We ended up leaving and booking a room at Marina Coral instead—a beautiful, clean hotel that we highly recommend.

They ruined our New Year's Eve. We got shocked that the room is so outdated, the bedding so old and dirty, towel in the bathroom so filthy that we didn’t want to take shower.

I took my wife and two 8 year old twin daughters here and for the most part, we had fun. There was a nice pool with a slide that they enjoyed and there was plenty to do since the beach was there. This was our first time staying at the hotel. We usually stayed at other places but figured that we’d try the famous Rosarito beach hotel, which I thought would be semi-higher end… You def are paying for the resort and the location…but the rooms, at least the one we stayed in was horrible. It was clean, but it def was in bad shape. The balcony sliding door was broken, couldn’t really open or close the screen door without it falling off, the bathroom door handle was loose and was practically falling off and there was old paint and what seemed like mildew on the ceiling corners of the shower. We had an ocean view, but the room was just in bad shape. We stayed at much nicer hotels in surrounding areas that were half the cost.. I thought that this would be nice, but I didn’t see the value in paying a higher cost for the beat up room. I guess like I said, you’re paying for the amenities, not the room.. the restaurant was good and the breakfast buffet was really good. Drinks at the bar weren’t really strong, but they were still tasty. I’m not sure I’d stay here again.. unless I get a higher tier room. Maybe I just got the basic room, but still.. even for the price I paid, the room was still in bad shape. Thumbs up for service and the other things, huge thumbs down for the room

The hotel itself is nice with cool history and lots to do within walking distance. The service was great. The only issue i had was that i could hear everything outside my hotel room, which made sleeping hard if you’re on the side closer to the beach clubs. The restaurant food was okay didn't seem of high quality ingredients but it was good. I think for the price its kind of worth it depending what you’re looking for. If youre looking to party great spot. If youre looking to chill bad spot.

Alway ok...but had to take our large amount of luggage to our room. I had to push my own cart. No bell hop or assistance. No one asked. We changed rooms from the coronado (outdated and hard beds) to the pacifico tower, again i had to push my cart from one side of the hotel to the other. No help no offer. We kept the cart during our stay. At the end of our stay we took the cart back to the lobby the clerk said we could have been fined for keeping the cart. Next time it may stay in the parking lot.

I like the hotel. I had a very good breakfast great view of the ocean. The only thing I would complain about are the beds. They are terribly hard.

The internet is horrible it's really slow and only let you connect 2 devices

Nice hotel located close to dining and shops with easy beach access. Our room was spacious: separate bedroom, futon in the living room, bathroom has bathtub too and a nice balcony. My only complaint is that the floors had concrete so it was really cold. Especially because our visit was in February.

The resort itself is beautiful. They have lots of amenities and things to do right outside the room. However, we stayed in Playas Tower and the room was very outdated. The futon couch was short and springy. The television was small and the bed was not very comfortable. It’s a nice stay if you don’t plan on staying in the room much.

I checked in, which was fine. I got to the room and found out they'd given me a ground-floor room, overlooking the jungle gym and children's playground. I booked the ocean view room in the Coronado building. When I went to the front desk, they advised me that the building was closed for renovations. They moved me to a second-floor room in the same building.

Overall, the property is beautiful and well maintained. The location is perfect! Only complaint I have are the beds. They were the most uncomfortable beds I had ever slept in. They definitely need to upgrade the mattresses.

Not great but not terrible, staff was rude and try getting extra money out of you for any little thing.

We stayed in 2 rooms at the Coronado building and it was run down. It needs to be redone, the walls, the showers and needs new furniture. The linens need to be replaced; the blankets and towels were very old. They are short staffed, calls are not answered in reception and house keeping is very delayed.

The check-in process at Rosarito Beach Hotel was very slow, and the elevators were often extremely slow or out of service, which really affected the overall experience. The property itself feels outdated and in need of upgrades. Unfortunately, these issues made the stay far less enjoyable than expected.

Excelente personal

Everything was very good EXCEPT they do not allow guests into the main tower. Our adult children stayed in the “other” tower but were not allowed in the main tower to visit us in our room. They need to look into that policy. Heads up when booking with family and friends.

The service staff is poor. It took us nearly 45 mins to check-in, and we got room at the Pacifico tower, which is the new building and the views to the ocean is great. The room itself is average for the price. Had issues with the bath tub plumbing and they said they would dispatch someone.. no one came. Bring your own bath shower gels as what they provide a substandard soap and shampoo. The restaurant at the hotel is also average, step out and you have better options at the Papas and Beer and other restaurants

We stayed in the Pacific Tower, 1 Bedroom. Fantastic view of the Ocean. We had a few minor issues that were taken care of right away. The service was great here. The Restaurant serves amazing food & the bar next door has a 2 for 1 happy hour.

The hotel is okd but very well kept. Beautiful garden. Great location

Beachfront room for a reasonable price. Walkable to many restaurants.

Stayed here with my husband and my three young boys. We had a really good time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I only took away one star because I feel like the property can do a little updating on the facilities. Other than that, everything was great. There were many restaurants and shopping at a walking distance.

Hotel is older but in a great location. Loved walking out to the beach directly. If you’re looking for something simple (rooms) this place is great. The outside is beautifully decorated and has a few places for photo opportunities. I will stay here again.

Do not stay during a major American holiday because you will not have peace and quiet. At any other time, it’s a nice place to stay

Not our first time staying but everything has improved. Our room seemed cleaner and newer. Ate in the restaurant two nights and food and service was excellent. Loved their 2 for 1 drinks in bar. Keep it up because we will return.

Fantastic Resort!! Been staying there for the last 50 years..xlnt customer service and friendly a friendly staff!! Food is great and the Beach 🏖️ Beautiful!!!

Everything was excellent! All the bars/clubs are within walking distance..security guards everywhere the staff hands down fantastic. We got a massage at the spa and it was the best we’ve ever gotten plus the breakfast the buffet the best!! You don’t need to go anywhere Rosarito beach hotel has it all, definitely coming back soon

The hotel was great!! We didn’t have to leave the resort at all. They have restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pools, and access to the beach. They even have multiple photo spots that have incredible sights. Our room was a little older and run down but the ocean view was great! The phone didn’t work and the balcony door was jammed but we still managed to get it open. Did intel’s recommend this hotel. It’s in the heart of Rosarito. Perfect. Walking distance to everything.

Great location rooms are a little dated and need some maintenance. The beds and pillows aren’t great and neither are the sheets and towels. The grounds and amenities are great with good restaurants and pools in the hotel. Great ocean views and short walk to the sand. All the vendors on the beach don’t allow much for relaxing but the beach is clean.

The beach view is amazing and the breakfast was pretty good as well
