HOTEL SAN CARLOS PLAZA

Our stay was unfortunately very disappointing, and we would not stay here again or recommend this resort to others. I’ll start with the positives because there were a few. One bartender, Guyal, was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Also, the air conditioner in our room worked exceptionally well, which was greatly appreciated in the summer heat. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. Check-in took over 50 minutes, which was a frustrating way to begin our vacation. Housekeeping was inconsistent. One day only one of our beds was made, and a dirty cleaning rag was left on the bathroom counter after the room was cleaned. The shower had extremely low water pressure, making it very difficult to wash and rinse long hair. One of the most frustrating experiences involved the pool security. We brought a small cooler that contained only ice so we could purchase bottled water from the resort bar and keep it cold while spending the day at the pool and beach. We even opened the cooler and showed the security guard that it contained nothing but ice, yet we were still told we could not bring it in. Meanwhile, we counted six different Mexican families in the pool area with coolers. Being treated differently left us feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly at all times and locations. The parking lot got pretty full. However, you can hear a lot of noise from The outside. The Venue is good has great amenities for Adults and kids

I loved it!!! kids friendly ❤️, family group we really enjoyed it. Beach so close is a plus, the rooms is the only thing I can say needs a renovation but nothing bad to say. We'll stay again.

Nice location. Right on the beach! Nice pools, great views of the sea. We enjoyed the suite with two balconies. Shower water pressure was very very low but we managed. Friendly, helpful staff.
