Hotel is easily found and close to the university. Room was fine overall but the window HVAC unit was noisy. I did not use the kitchen area, so cannot comment. Adequate parking, be sure to use the parking pass given at check-in, so your vehicle is not towed!

The bed was comfortable. (Always the feature i look for in reviews which is why i say it first). Staff was super friendly in conversation and helpful. Parking was easy even though they were pretty full. There were a few dining options within walking distance even pretty late at night.

Staff at front desk were friendly and efficient. Parking procedure required trip back to car with "permit". Building has seen better days. Some elements show recent renovation, others worn. Bed and easy chair were comfortable. Toilet needed flush valve replaced. Bathroom needed some hooks or shelves for clothes. No breakfast.

We absolutely loved this hotel - the suite was very nice, the staff was outstanding, the beds were really comfortable, the fridge in the kitchenette even had an ice maker, and there was a very nice little store in the lobby that was well enough stocked - and reasonably priced - so that a guest doesn't need to leave the building if they don't want to. That was especially important for this visit, as the area was suffering a massive blackout in the area and most stores and restaurants were closed during our visit. Candlewood Suites will be my go-to hotel from now on!

We had a very wonderful stay on Saturday, 9/6/2025. We had some down time and wanted to waitch a movie. The lobby had so many DVD options for us to choose from to watch a good classic movie. They also had board games we could borrow for our stay and bring back to the lobby. My only complaint is that our shower did not work. We did not notice this untiil the morning of our checkout, as we only stayed one night. It was a big inconvient, but we let the staff know at check out so the next guest didn't deal with the same issue.

We’ve stayed several times before and always had a pleasant experience. This time was a let down. The room was clean, however, the light by the bed did not work and the air conditioning unit made horrible noises that woke us several times. I have cancer and was visiting my daughter. Too tired to complain at the time, but let them know in the morning.

Rooms are nice and clean. Staff is wonderful. They have kitchen items you can borrow as well as a full setup to bring some of your own food. I've stayed there two times now and will continue to stay when I come to terre haute.

The hotel has low water pressure when flushing toilets. We moved rooms due to the slow refill in room. The second room was slightly better. Our bed (queen) had access on only one side with no nightstand on one side of the bed. Bed was noisy with creaking springs or foundation. Staff was polite and responsive.

Everything was very nice, the only thing i did not like was one side of the bed was against the wall, so since there was two of us in the room, one had to scooch down to the end of the bed to get off the bed, or climb over the partner.

Well, the TV was big and the fitness room was well-equipped. Otherwise this was a dystopian experience. Our windows literally looked out onto cement walls and the ceilings were 20 feet high. It felt a bit like a dorm room, with a full sized refrigerator, a hot plate and dishes in cupboards. There was a frame with a blank picture hanging on the wall and the carpet looked like the industrial squares used in a factory. Dark and depressing. For the price we paid, this was incredibly disappointing. The location was perfect for our needs, though, with nice restaurants across the street.

The Suite in Room 441 was great; a simple, yet efficient space for two adults. The bed was very comfortable. We couldn't believe there were dishes, a dishwasher, a stove and microwave in the room. A very nice space. The only negative is that the room was situated on the Wabash side of the building, which was somewhat loud on Saturday night. I am a light sleeper and noticed this quite quickly. Overall, a good stay in a cool, renovated, nice building.

Very noise. Was locked out of our toom for 1 hour. Everyone worked to unlock the room the quickest they could but still had to stand in hall for 1 hour starting at 10:30 pm.

All the people we met at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We arrived early to hotel (red-eye flight) and the front desk ladies helped us checked in as soon as there is a room ready. The room is spacious, with enough sitting areas for the three of us. The gym and business center are clean, and very functional. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

The only issue we had, our checkin time was 3pm and didn’t get a room until like 3:50pm. We tried checking in at 2:57 and they said they were sweeping the room now.

The hotel was very clean and staff was really friendly and offered great suggestions for dining. Didn’t like the fact that there was no breakfast option at the hotel, but overall a great place to stay.
