Hampton Inn Suites Minneapolis St Paul Arpt-Mall of America

Other than the airplanes taking off it was great. But we are next to the airport so that was expected. Parking was okay..not the best but not the worst either.

Parking was awful.

Overall property was ok. More parking would help tremendously.

Great location, friendly staff, close to a well-known steakhouse and several other great restaurants, pool was a nice size for the kids to swim in but the hot tub was no longer present and was filled in. Shampoo & conditioner pumps didn’t work but the staff got us new ones quickly. Breakfast and eating area were fantastic! You can hear the airplanes as it is very close to the airport but it didn’t keep me up or wake me up. We would definitely stay again with our family.

Enjoyed this location for a friend's weekend. Appreciated the lounge area to play games and catch up. Down side was how many kids were there for a competition. They took over the pool and long waits at breakfast. Wish there was a hot tub on property.

Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Shuttle service was included to the Mall of America and the Blue Line tram. Rooms were clean.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. Love that there was a shuttle van to take you to Mall of America and bring you back to the hotel. The room was very comfortable, bathroom very clean. We were in the pool, which was very clean. We enjoyed it. Great for families! Loved the breakfast options. My kids loved the waffles. We will definitely, come back to this hotel.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast in the hot pans was cold every morning and the cheese omelet was like plastic. Pool was cloudy looking so we never used it. Carpeting in the hallway of the 5th floor was loose, causing it to bubble up and was a tripping hazard.

Parking areas are pretty small and all over the property area. With full hotel, its a little difficult to find parking. But overall great stay and staff was very helpful.

Well in our room #308 and the floor between the bathroom vanity the carpet was ripped and my daughter cut her foot from it. And I also was Charged twice on my credit card when I checked in. When that lady checked me in. So I noticed I was charged twice. So I would like both Transactions back from checking in. So that would be $100. But I would like all money refunded if that possible.

Arrived to our room door already open, and mold in the bathroom and looked like old food spilt on the wall by the bed, arrived around 8-9 pm and seemed to be full, even though we had a reservation and staff was unfriendly.

Conveniently located but in need of sprucing up. Bathroom was dirty, shower broken so you had to figure out where 'hot' was, bed worn out. That being said, rooms were very large and spacious and had free parking. If you're there to shop and/or fly in and out, this is a good option.

Nice big room, breakfast could of been better with a little more options, now what I wasn’t really happy with was that some towels where stain don’t know of what but found 3 towels I dumped them on the floor didn’t complained cause it was a one day stay…

The accommodations were top of the line! Most comfortable bed, linens were amazing, A/C was perfect, the room was immaculate and so quiet!

The floors on 3rd floor bubble and are a trip hazard. Elevators work and lobby is clean. Room is clean but bathroom tiles were cracked and glued together but not glued well. There was no soap by the sink and had to use shower gel from tub/shower. Bed was ok could feel springs and noisy to other. Overall an okay stay.

When we arrived in our room there were dirty socks from the previous guest still in there. Along with that, our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds and it had full beds instead.

Hotel was nice and everything but the furnace in our room was terribly loud and woke us all up constantly so sleeping wasn’t easy. When the furnace ran it blew cold air too even tho we turned it up to 74 in the room.

We chose this hotel over the others in the area because we have good experiences with Hampton Inns. We had a terrible time. Check in was quick and easy but thats where the good stops. The room was clean, the beds made. Our room was tiny. Barely any room to walk between the beds. No space in the closet for luggage. There was also no parking available. My husband had to park several lots away. Breakfast was terrible. They didnt refill anything and it was a mess. Waffle batter all over the place and rotting bananas. The tv didnt work and there was no hot water on our second day. The front desk was no help with any of these issues.

The room was nice and spacious. The front desk was pleasant and helpful was our questions. The breakfast was okay nothing great but not bad either.

Our room was spacious. But the biggest problem was the vent that blew out air conditioning. When it would turn, on the cold air blew right down on the bed. This was so uncomfortable. Wondering if there is a solution. Pillows were very flat as well. Bed itself was great!!

This property is in a great location for Mall of America. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was so loud it drowned out the constant sounds from the airport, which I appreciated. My complaints are that the room wasn’t stocked for 4 people (not enough towels), our room was missing hand soap, the entire property has an overly perfume smell (beyond cleaner), and our room was quite dirty especially the bathroom.

The Breakfast was very good. The room was an unwelcome wind tunnel of cold air blasting directly at the bed when the Air Conditioning kicked in, making it impossible to sleep. No way to redirect the Air Conditioning. I eventually turned the Air off. It was 78 degrees in the room by morning. Not going to stay here again.

The room we got was clean and large enough for our crew. We didn't feel like we were stumbling over each other. Hotel was quiet even with being so close to the airport. Not much room for parking, spots go fast.

Free shuttles to and from the Mall of America was very useful. My room was spacious and the bed was good. The bathroom and shower were also nice. Only downside was the very soft pillows on the bed. So if you prefer firmer pillows, you might want to bring your own.

Parking was terrible. I was told I could park in the lot across the street. My daughter peeked in an open door to the breakfast area and an employee kept yelling at her to stay out. She did not even go in just looked in the open door she was very rude! My wife asked for an extra pillowcase and seemed put out to get her one. The fold out couch which we were counting on for sleeping for our daughter had a terribly uncomfortable mattress she slept on the couch instead.

Richard at the front desk was excellent. So welcoming and helpful. I’d stay here again just to see him!

Great customer service

It was suggested to me by the hotel to use a "digital key" and check in online instead of stopping at the front desk. So I hauled my four heavy bags up to my room on the 4th floor and the digital key was not active. Waited 10 minutes outside my room in the hallway and while text chatting with an agent on my phone about the issue. NO HELP AND NO REMEDY. So I call the front desk and they said I needed to come back down and check in since I was "chosen" to have my ID and CC inspected. I was alone and said I was not going to carry my luggage back down again, nor was I going to leave it unattended in the hallway. I asked if my boyfriend could check us in since he was arriving at the hotel within minutes, and the front desk stated that I would have to pay an extra fee to add a new name to my reservation. My boyfriend came to the room to watch our luggage so I went back down to the front desk. I had assumed I could go straight to the front of the line to get my situation taken care of but still waited in line after new hotel guests for over 10 minutes. Obviously not pleased, I re-checked in with the lady I spoke to on the phone and she gave no apology, had no remorse and handed me two water bottles as a "welcome package." All the other guests checking in were offered a treat with their water bottles, but not me. She wanted to get me out of her hair immediately so did not offer me the same amenities as other guests. I felt that was rude, wrong and discriminatory.

Alec, Welcome us and was helpful and nice. We need more of him at the other Hilton hotel chains.

From check in to checking out, the stay was perfect. The most friendly staff who are always greeting you. They responded quickly if we needed extra towels. The breakfast was top notch. Nice to have a shuttle ride to the MOA. The manager was helping out and making sure everything was good. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We definitely will be back.

Room was clean and inviting. The TV offered the option to log in to apps which was beneficial while traveling with kids. The person on front desk duty overnight was a godsend. She helped me problem solve a situation for one of my family members and helped save some worry.

The staff was exceptionally pleasant

Fantastic stay between Christmas and New Year’s and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We did not hear any aircraft when inside the hotel, only when we walked to Mall of America. The hotel shuttle is a huge benefit and even picked us up as we had started walking to the Mall. All of the drivers for Hampton Inn & Suites were amazing. The hot breakfast was perfect with many options to choose from and the 24-hour fresh coffee in the lobby was appreciated. Alex was incredible at check-in and throughout our stay. He provided all the information when we had questions about routes, transportation options etc. and we will absolutely stay here again for our next trip to Minneapolis.

So noisy being so close to the airport. Location near Mall of America was nice.

Great location … walking distance to Mall of America and the Blue Line Metro for a quick jump into the city. Friendly staff and Shuttle Drivers. Shuttle was punctual, when used.

The hotel was average, breakfast was horrible, not enough seating when at full capacity, equipment was old and took forever to cook anything. Maids used ever elevator in the morning and would hold the doors so the guest couldn't use them.

The room and staff were wonderful. The location is literally at the end of a runway so you get all of the airport noise. Worst part was the breakfast - only one waffle maker and EVERYONE wanted waffles. We gave up after 30 minutes trying to get a hot breakfast.

Very nice breakfast buffet in lobby area. Good waffle makers. Yogurt, bananas, oranges, breakfast potatoes scrambled eggs and kielbasa sausages. Muffins, toast, oatmeal and toppings. Juices, coffees, milk and cereals.

The bathroom in my room was huge! The whole room was updated and very clean. Best free breakfast ive ever had . Would definately stay there again.
