Next time, and there will be a next time, I will start here with my Merida visit. A 400-year-old hacienda, beautiful grounds, gorgeous bedroom furnished with antique furnishings and fixtures, an honor system well-stocked fridge with beer and Cokes, and two very interesting proprietors, I missed out on not staying here more than my last night in the city. And, it was 5 minutes away from the Tren Maya. They gave me a ride to my train with last minute notice. I can't wait to come back here.

The hotel is hard to find as Google took us to the wrong area. When we got to our room and turned on the lights in the bathroom, several cockroaches scattered, so not the best nights sleep worrying about the roommates.

Good location between Mérida and Tren Maya train station. This restored colonial house has a great pool, in a tranquil setting and is surrounded by fruit trees that help make breakfast delicious.

Lovely original Hacienda building, outstanding spatious room high ceilings and great decor. Quiet location still near Merida metropolitan area (Kanasin), quick access from the highway.
