The hotel is well located easy to get around in the city. We were very disappointed that there was no parking. We found that very frustrating. We came from a long way the Hunter Valley We kept asking for parking which was first come first serve we did not know that Very convenient for people who came on public transport.

Property was in a central location in the cbd. Check in process was difficult. Car parking was only allowed till check out time of 10am so we ended up leaving Sydney earlier than planned.

APX World Square has good sized rooms with kitchens, which are well equipped. There is also a nice pool and the location is good - near the light rail and not too far from Darling Harbour & Barangaroo. On the down side the rooms are a bit old and are not sound proof so it can be quite noisy.

Check-in was friendly and the staff allowed us to store our luggage until the room was ready. The rooms are very comfortable and more like an apartment. The swimming pool is half undercover and half open air so no mater the weather you can enjoy a swim. We couldn't find the gym. The location is great. The overall appearance is a bit dated but I think that reflects the Sydney price. Would stay again.

Good wash machine and dryer. The main entrance was off a dirty sidestreet. Not a good impression. Need to get that sorted. AND ENTRANCE TO BUILDING COUL BE SPRUCED UP A BIT.

Invested with cockroaches , (11th floor!) room was supposed to sleep three , when asking for Two sheets for the sofa bed we were told A charge per day for Our 16 day stay don’t advertise sleep three if you are Going to charge ! I could have got Two sheets from a retailer for nothing the sofa Bed was disgusting the mattress springs were damaged and the mattress itself was badly stained , the air con only worked in the living room and not the bedroom , it is the worst hotel in Sydney I have stayed in and yet very expensive for what was given

i appreciate they upgrade my room from studio to one bed but a little bit disappointing with the cleanness a lot a small cockroach in the room around the kitchen area that make my kids not happy. i hope with my next visiting didn’t see this happened again.

清潔ではない。エアコンの吹き出し口、洗面所の換気扇は真っ黒の埃がびっちりついている。排水が悪い。布団もない。薄ーい毛布にシーツだけ。立地は良いのだが、良すぎるのも考えものだった。目の前の繁華街で朝2時まで若者が音楽の爆音と共に大騒ぎ。それが毎日。決して安宿ではないけれど、星4つ評価はおかしい。

On arrival we found the entrance to the hotel was down a side street that also led to a public car park, not a good first impression i thought. We were checked in and told how to get to the room, we are an older couple and were not even offered any help with our luggage. On arrival at our room we opened the door and the first sight was a frayed carpet. After our long journey i needed to use the bathroom, on entering the first thing i noticed was all the mould around the bottom of the shower doors. As it was night when we arrived we didn't open the curtains until the morning. After not much sleep because of outside noise we opened the curtains, I'm glad i had already dressed as our room was next to an office block. And we were on the same side as the car park. We unpacked and went out for breakfast. The bed wasn't very comfortable but at least the sheets were clean. We had a look around the place and I'm glad we were only using it for showering and sleep, the furniture was old and tatty, the skirting boards behind the table were very dirty, there was dirty marks on the wall near a bin .We have used Hotels.com in the past and have always been delighted with our accommodation but not this time.

Arrived had to pay a property deposit that will be refunded in uo to 5-7 days, not explained when booked. Over priced for parking for parking, when there was a pay station 50 metres up the road for for a much cheaper rate . Arrived in room stain down one wall, mould in shower, roachroaches in the draws and scattered when lights turned on.

Apartment was dirty. There was few hairs on blanket. Enough that we had to spend couple of minute to take it off the blanket before we use it. We understand that it’s not hotel and service apartment but could atleast clean up before your next guest? Floor didn’t even vacuum; few traces of potatoes chips. For the price we should have booked at near by Rydges. Never again!

Beautiful room. Very spacious. Great bathroom. Nice hot shower. Would recommend! Mattress comfy but ready for recommission. Saturday night in the city is noisy but the location, comfort and the amenities more than make up for the noise from the street and road.

Overall the stay was great. The room was large and has a good sized balcony. However it does feel dated. The bathroom is fine, but didn't have an exhaust fan. The location was really convenient and had lots of transport options with Museum station close by.

Really great location with walking distance to all of the areas we needed to visit - QVB, Capitol, Mall, Art Gallery, Central Station. The room was terrific, spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The kitchenette was handy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The room was really spacious and nice. Location was perfect, close to all public transport and shopping precincts. Only downside was that the shower water pressure was a little low and hot water at times took a little while to warm up. Other than that it was perfeft.

Our room was large and spacious with its own balcony. The kitchen was adequate. It was lovely to have a full size fridge and a laundry. Price was reflective of being in SYDNEY CBD but still too expensive given the age and condition of the room.

Morning staff said didn’t know which way start walking to the botanical gardens/ didn’t let us check in one single minute before 2pm knowing that we arrived since 8am / didn’t have any adaptor for charging phone to pull info just to borrow for a minute while we go buy one / didn’t let us make a local phone call sent us to the street to find a phone in a few words he has zero idea what means customer service for tourist that comes from the other side of the world

The apartment was good but I am annoyed that without any communication or advice from APX they withdrew $200 from my account 5 days before our stay, apparently as a security deposit, upon leaving the hotel I was then advised that my money would not be returned for 5 business days which means they had our money for 10 days, as pensioners it is lucky we could cover this. It would be better if guests were advised of this prior to booking.

When we arrived there was no one at the reception desk for about 15 minutes. Over this time approximately 8 people were waiting for assistance. When the gentleman returned to assist everyone, our room wasn’t ready so we waited a further 15-20 minutes. We had an appointment that we then ran late for due to not being able to get in the room. When we did get into the room there was only one towel supplied. The room was quite clean, tidy & comfortable however. I did feel for the poor man at reception, it looked like he was trying to do several jobs at once & he could have done with a second staff member. The staff member on reception when we checked out was rude & disinterested in us reporting we’d only been supplied with one towel. The room was ok, the staffing was not.

Arrived early midday, expecting not to be able to be checked in. Left my suitcase and went shopping. Arrived back at 2.15, 4 people being checked in, then another 2, then another 1 then another 2, then another 1, before I finally reached the counter. Only 1 person checking people in. When the young man tried to check me in, my room wasn’t ready, I was not happy as I had been walking around the city waiting for check in. 2.55pm, he called me over saying my room was ready. My first night, I went to have a shower, the shower door was jamb, water flooded all over bathroom floor. I had to throw a towel down. I reported it on my way out, around 8.30pm, was told he would record it for maintenance man. Had another shower in the morning, towel was still wet from previous night. Reported it again at counter. Maintenance man came to fix shower at 4pm.

Our family had 2 bookings to stay at this hotel. 2 hours and 5 minutes prior to check-in, at 11.55am, one of our family members received an email requesting them to update their credit card information online. Exactly 1 minute later, at 11.56am, he received an email saying the booking was cancelled. We were already half way into our 3 hour journey to this hotel when I called reception to find out what's going on. They said because the credit card was not updated, the booking was cancelled. We tried to give them the updated card info over the phone, but they wouldn't not accept it due to security reasons. I told them that we were already on our way, we have the new credit card and to not cancel the booking as we would have nowhere to stay. The receptionist said, "you don't understand, the booking is cancelled." Another receptionist said that they spoke to the card holder in the morning to update the card. This was nothing less than a complete lie. There were no records of calls or emails prior to the cancellation emails. It took around 30 minutes of conversation going back and forth between the reception and booking team to undo the cancellation. The hotel itself was nice, but it is totally unacceptable to cancel someones booking 2 hours and 4 minutes prior to check-in without any prior notice.

Not great communication in the lead up, a lot of “we’ll tell you 24 hours before” regarding car parking availability and a cot for my child to sleep in, however once we were there, the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, in need of a little update and refresh, but for the price, can’t fault it too much. Location is fantastic. Would stay again.

Customer service non existent. We booked for a weekend in June there were a number of issues with checkin which could have been helped if they told us we needed to bring a physical bank card to pay deposit. Was told it would take 5-7 days only to be told they meant business days when it hadn’t come back through. When I asked to speak to someone they told me it was email only and the manager wasn’t working. Run down hotel in a good area but there is no service or anyone to assist should you need it. Would rather pay a little extra for peace of mind and clear communication. The people at the front desk were often rude and one had no idea what she was doing so just had to wait for the other lady to free up.

Our check in took 1/2 hour. My mum and dad couldn’t check in to about 6.30 and reception told me if they didn’t check in by 2.30 their room would be cancelled although they had already taken their deposit . Mum was on phone for 40 minutes trying to sort it out in the end they added it to my booking and I paid .. inconvenient . Over both rooms the Tv remote didn’t work Bathroom Sink wouldn't drain Tv didn't work Plug was stuck in sink so water wouldn’t drain Light in lounge room didn't work Bathroom sink took ages to drain water No face washer No tea towel Drain in shower loose Couch dirty Won’t be staying again Disappointed

Great location. Only a 10 minute walk from central station and a Coles supermarket across the road. Had a laundry washing machine and dryer in the room too so was able to keep my clothes fresh and clean. Highly recommend
