Hotel difronte alla stazione che non permette di fermare la macchina per scaricare i bagagli. Bisogna andare nel parking a circa trecento metri a lasciare la macchina. L’hotel però mette a disposizione un pass che rende gratuito il parcheggio ( cosa molto importante visti i costi dello stesso). Colazione ottima e varia, camera medio-grande,bagno perfetto.

Selten habe ich ein Hotel so unterschätzt wie das La Couronne. Obwohl es "nur" 3 Sterne hat, haben wir keinen großen Unterschied zu Häusern der 4-Sterne-Kategorie bemerkt. Die Zimmer sind absolut ausreichend geräumig und sehr sauber. Mir als Raucher hat der Innenhof sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal ist überall freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage unmittelbar gegenüber dem Bahnhof ist top. Die Innenstadt erreicht man nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit der Straßenbahn. Es gibt viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Leider ist der Stadtteil Guillemins ein Problemviertel. Es laufen hier so einige Menschen herum, die leider kein eigenes zu Hause haben. Es wird zwar vor Straßenkriminalität gewarnt, doch uns ist zum Glück nichts passsiert.

Nous avons passé deux nuits séparées dans une même semaine et tout c'est très bien passé. Hôtel très bien situé, en face de la gare, à proximité de plusieurs points de restauration, calme et propre, chambre et salle de douche spacieuses, un parking à disposition. Nous retenons cette adresse si nous devons revenir sur Liège. Merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse.

The surrounding area outside the hotel was questionable. There were some homeless people. Parking was offsite and a walk. The hotel is situated across from the Liege train station so for those who want convenient access to the trains, this is an ideal location. If traveling by car, the parking is inconvenient with limited access to drop off and pick up luggage since street is busy. Breakfast selection was good.

Lite problem med parkering.

Bel hôtel renové, excellent service, juste en face de la gare, 20 minutes à pied du Vieux Liège. Épicerie Carrefour express juste à côté, plusieurs restaurants. Seul bémol est si vous arrivez en voiture. Aucun debarquadère et place meme pour arrêter, il faut faire un bout plus loin, se trouver une place et revenir à pied pour l'enregistrement. Le stationnement payant intérieur est à 150 mètres avant d'arriver.

Hotel tres bien. Ce nest pas ma première nuit dans cet hôtel. L'acces au parking est tres compliqué et peut être un frein. Le petit déjeuner est correcte mais pas exceptionnel. J'aimerai plus de fruits frais. Personnel agréable, chambre plutot propre.

La propreté laissait à désirer… la télécommande était dans un état infect, les murs de la salle de bain étaient salles et tachés. La télé était réglée sur le son avec commentaires pour non voyants sans possibilité de modifier ce réglage. La chambre était non fumeur comme demandé mais on y avait manifestement fumé ( (traces de cigarettes sur les meubles…) Bref pas top comme expérience

Nice and close to the station. Comfortable and clean beds. Unfortunately not super clean shower plus the shower drain was clogged.

The room (230) was clean when I arrived, and the front desk staff were courteous, though not particularly helpful when I reported the Wi-Fi issues on day one. I asked if it was possible to move to a room closer to an access point, but the request seemed to confuse them, and nothing was done. Wi-Fi remained weak and unreliable throughout my stay. The room faced the afternoon sun, and with windows that couldn’t be opened, it became uncomfortably warm. The air conditioning wasn’t strong enough to cool the space adequately. Water pressure in the toilet was very low, making it difficult to flush properly. This issue persisted throughout the stay. Breakfast was underwhelming for a property labeled as an Expedia VIP hotel. The space itself was large and clean, but the food selection was limited, and the waffles were pre-packaged rather than fresh—disappointing in a city known for its waffles. The hotel is located about 100 meters from the train station, which makes it easy to reach. However, the main image used on Expedia is misleading—it shows a nearby high-rise building rather than the hotel itself. When I arrived, I initially walked to that building thinking it was the hotel, only to discover it was a government office. Overall, while there were some positives—cleanliness, a convenient location, and polite staff—the stay fell short of Expedia VIP expectations.

First of all the main image on the website is 100% misleading. The image of the tall curved building is shows as being the hotel is of a completely irrelevant building about 0.5km away from the hotel. I feel as though I have been cat fished as the main hotel entrance is alone a seedy row of shops next door to a Burger King. Once inside it is better, the rooms were basic but comfortable and the staff were always pleasant

Very convenient to start excursions from the railway station. The quality of the bed and bedding was great. First impressions weren't good - the receptionists are behind a security screen, and you need to be let in through the main entrance, and its all a bit cramped in a corridor which made me a little wary of the safety of the area The common areas are a bit dowdy / low rent and not as modern as portrayed and similarly bedroom furniture is a bit tired too. I also couldn't get the room cool enough but I was staying through an early spring hot spell so the central a/c might not have been engaged. They were very kind about letting me cancel my third night (I had to get away sooner because of the strike) even though I had a non-flex booking.

Posizione eccellente rispetto alla fermata Flixbus e soprattutto alla Stazione Guillemins. Anche il centro si raggiunge facilmente (a 50 metri c'è il capolinea del tram). Stanze pulite ma sarebbero un po' da ammodernare, ed il termostato non era efficacissimo....

Excellent stay. Very comfortable room. Great location. Even after I checked out I had to go back because my phone had been stolen and the staff did so much to help me with WiFi and even a drink to calm me. Can’t say too many good things about the staff and their kindness. Will definitely stay there again if I get back to Liège. Thank you!!!

The VIP Gold experience was underwhelming: You get four pieces of chocolate, 10 gram each. Eventually managed to negotiate late check out (only one hour). Had to show proof of reservation and program perks, reception didn't seem to know anything about their partnership with hotels.com. The hotel also fell victim to a data breach. The reception and management didn't deem it necessary to proactively inform their customers of that fact. When I brought up the phishing attempt while checking in, it was shrugged off with something along the lines of "don't click on unknown links, not our fault". Would I receive an update and official information on what happened? Sure, they said. That was two weeks ago and I haven't heard back. I'd expect a commercial operator to take more responsibility. Overall, an amateurish operation, dated furniture, and a general standard I'd rank as below what Ibis would offer. Close to the train station, at least something.

Personnel sympathique et disponible, bien qu’un peu perdu par exemple nous avons demandé un rouleau de papier toilette la dame nous a demandé si on logeait à l’hôtel. Nous étions au premier étage chambre 103 qui donnait sur la cour poubelle parking du bar / resto du dessous donc niveau bruit une horreur, toute la nuit du jeudi et vendredi, impossible de fermer l’œil, entre le bruit et la lumière de l’escalier de secours qui s’éclairait en plein milieu de la nuit face a notre fenêtre sans volets on avait l’impression d’avoir un spot sur nous. Nous sommes parti le samedi après midi au lieu du dimanche tellement c’était impossible de dormir, une nuit payée dans le vent… La chambre était spacieuse, cependant l’état du mobilier est critique, les fauteuil et chaise bancal, sale, table pleine de miette à notre arrivé. Le lit et sol était propre cependant. Mais les draps étaient troué vers le bas de la place de mon mari.

Mon 2ème séjour à l'hôtel de la couronne et toujours aussi ravie ! Parfait accueil au check-in et checkout par Anne-Laure ; chambre spacieuse et très confortable (notamment lit de grande taille et linge de toilette généreux) ; très propre ; petit-déjeuner varié ; localisation pratique. Un séjour parfait !

Fantastic hotel in the proximity of the Train Station in Liege. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. Near the hotel there are some eateries but I have not tried them as I arrived late at night. Friendly and helpful receptionists.
