Sofia’s and clean room, excellent facilities and lovely staff. Parking is a bit of a challenge to get into and to park due to its limited size, there is and underground car park at 20€ per night.

We choose this hotel for the spa and swimming pool. The day we were to arrive we received an email that the pool would be closed to upkeep. It was too late to get a refund and go somewhere else. The children were most disappointed as this was suppose to be special as we had been traveling for days.

Hotel interiors are gorgeous, parts of it look like an old castle (check out the bar on level -1), all built into the rock. Great terrace with a view for your morning coffee. The room itself was spacious, with colorful decor. The only downsides: next to no body wash left in the shower, we also asked for an iron but what was brought to our room was beyond use - super old and stained, quite a shock as everything else in this hotel was of top quality. Spa facilities were great, especially saunas with small windows overlooking greenery. There is uncovered car park opposite for €10 but we chose to park in the uderground car park nearby as it has CCTV and charging points (€20), although rather narrow to get in/out.

Netheid kan beter, zeker het bed- en badlinnen kan een kwaliteitscontrole gebruiken voor gebruik. Het wellness centrum is uitgebreid, maar enkel zwembad en fitness zijn open vanaf 7.00 u.; de sauna's zijn pas op temperatuur tegen 9.00 u. Ook zijn er geen handdoeken, noch water ter beschikking in de wellness.

Hôtel très beau la piscine et le spa top et permet de bien se relaxer après la journée Chambre spacieuse et confortable Je pense par contre que pendant la saison estivale il faudrait pas avoir une chambre au 6eme sous la terrasse car l’isolation est pas top pour notre part des enfants devant courir sur celle ci. L’aimabilite de certains membres du personnel est à revoir

Bad points - they don’t give you towels at the pool. You have to take towel from bedroom - shower gel had run out - one of the toilet flushes was broken - the air conditioning was noisy and only on one setting was it quiet. - the gym and breakfast only start at 7am. For a business man I want to get to the gym early and have an early breakfast. Why not 24hour gym? Most hotels do. Just close thr pool if insurance is the issue Good points - some staff were pleasant. ( reception and chef). Bar staff were not so good - the breakfast was very good including a nice custom made omelet - nice looking hotel with style

Lieu exceptionnel avec une belle piscine, un spa agréable et de belles terrasses. Je trouve néanmoins que l’accueil n’est pas toujours au niveau. Un des chefs en cuisine n’est vraiment pas correct avec les serveuses et on entend tout dans la salle, l’accueil n’est pas toujours à la hauteur du lieu. Je viens toutes les semaines et c’est malheureusement aléatoire … Concernant la propreté, les chambres sont bien nettoyés mais les oreillers rouges et le dessus de lit ne doivent pas être changés entre chaque client, parfois l’odeur laisse à désirer. Enfin, l’accès à l’eau dans l’établissement est fortement restreint. Une toute petite bouteille dans les chambres et une bouteille au restaurant qui coûte 12 euros. Il me semble qu’une fontaine devrait être le minimum …

The spa area wasn’t up to scratch - dirty even first thing in the morning with used towels in the changing rooms, no one on duty, no shower gel etc. That was the only downside though - the rest of the hotel was great: lovely room, nice staff, well presented.

Amenities were excellent. We enjoyed wellness area, plenty tasty options for breakfast buffet. Service on the other hand was below standard. No one was there to guide us through breakfast buffet options when we came down. When leaving, no questions asked about our satisfaction. Well, I need to put it here then. Shower smelled little bit like a sewer and toilet seat was yellowish from the bottom. Pay attention to details 🙂

Séjour correct mais en dessous de ce qu’on attend dans un tel hôtel. J’ai eu une chambre communicante et un voisin qui a allumé la télé à 6h, on entend tout avec la porte commune … L’odeur des égouts qui remontent de la salle de bain parfume toute la chambre. La salle de sport était vraiment sale et mériterait une remise en état de certains équipements. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet, le jambon n’était pas frais et la qualité des produits n’est pas exceptionnelle. L’accueil reste néanmoins bon.

I found a dirt towel in the bathroom which is really bad in consideration of the price. Some years ago I already stayed in the same hotel when it belonged to a different group. Now some thinks are changed (as breakfast organization), and I preferred by far as it was before: much better position of food and above all much better choice.

Netter Ort, leider komplett überbewertet. Zimmer waren nicht fertig, Reinigung hat so gut wie nicht stattgefunden, Housekeeping überfordert und nicht in der Lage Standards zu liefern - inkl. WC mit Feststoffen - unfassbar. Viel Schein, wenig Qualität. Meiner Meinung nach nicht das Geld wert.

Het hotel was langs binnen en buiten heel mooi. De wellness was heel vuil en langs de ramen zit al roest wat zeer gevaarlijk is voor de kinderen. Het restaurant is van eten heel lekker. De bediening van het restaurant was ok. Het ontbijt is zeer gevarieerd maar wordt zo goed als niet aangevuld. Het was er vrij druk maar er zat totaal geen structuur in. Wij hebben 5 maal moeten vragen of ze de tafel wilden afruimen waar het vorige nog stond. De bediening van het ontbijt was totaal niet in orde. De kamers waren in orde. Het is een vrij prijzig hotel waardoor wij vonden dat het dan ook allemaal in orde mocht zijn

Well the building is stunning and the amenities are quite good. It promised to be a great stay on the booking site. Tips if you decide to stay here: - A room below level 5 would feel quite claustrophobic as there would be limited view from the window. - Unless you book the top end suite, you are in a concrete annex located behind and below the hotel level. - Avoid arriving Sunday afternoon as it seems the brunch is a feature for the locals making your parking and check-in experience one you do not want to have. An hour queue to get to the desk. - Service is by request not by nature. - If you want to go to the town center, take the lift to the spa and exit by that door. Handy when coming back as it is a bit of a hike up the hill. Note that the spa lower access door closes at 9pm. After that it’s up the hill you go. Overall impression. The location, building, facilities are very nice and comfortable. It is even quiet for such a central location. There is however no-one in charge. No one who is there to check that everything runs without glitches. Service is inexistant unless you actively seek it making this 4 star hotel feeling like a major disappointment. It’s a real shame the as it has everything to be something magical and exceptional. We did get a terrible check-in but a good check out and some staff members on the night desk were very helpful when we had some noisy neighbors and lacked pillow cases for the spare pillow we needed.

The location, building, facilities are very nice and comfortable. It is even quiet for such a central location. There is however no-one in charge. No one who is there to check that everything runs without glitches. Service is inexistant unless you actively seek it making this 4 star hotel feeling like a major disappointment. It’s a real shame the as it has everything to be something magical and exceptional. We did get a terrible check-in but a good check out and some staff members on the night desk were very helpful when we had some noisy neighbors and lacked pillow cases for the spare pillow we needed.

J’ai séjourné dans une chambre 222 donnant sur la rue, et c’était tout simplement impossible de dormir. Le bruit incessant de la climatisation extérieure a duré toute la nuit. À cela s’est ajouté le vacarme des livraisons dès 4h du matin : camions, déchargement de marchandises… un véritable cauchemar. C’est inadmissible de louer une chambre dans ces conditions, surtout juste au-dessus de la zone de réception et de livraison récemment installée. Une honte, tout simplement.

Terrible check in experience. Was totally ignored and I stood there for 15mins, staff was walking back and forth with no acknowledgment to my existence. No smile, no I will be with you in a second. The receptionist Colin was so rude, when I gave them feedback, his solution was to argue with me, and said if he acknowledged me then I would approach him, so best not to acknowledge. Then he completed the check in process and walked off, left us standing there, without room key and passports. Another lady came over to give us our items and apologised. But there was no apologise from him and his manager who also took it lightly when we made a complaint to the hotel. We travel a lot, but never experienced such service from an apparent luxury hotel. It’s not luxury at all, better off going to a more basic hotel that understands customer service. Definitely will not be visiting again.

On sent que l'on dérange....je reviens pour le confort et la qualité de l'établissement....mais svp faites quelque chose pour la réception des clients.

This hotel is dishonest, they're claiming we took two lampshades, we didn't, and charged us for them after we left and had no way of defending ourselves. The only proof they have is a photo taken by the cleaning staff. They did not showed us the picture, moreover staging a photo is pretty easy when clients are not around... Check other reviews of this hotel, theft and abusive charges are a common occurence at this hotel. Do not stay here and definitely do not travel as a familly with small kids.

It would be helpful if there was better signposting from the hotel garage entrance to the hotel. I would not feel safe walking to or from the city centre after dark. Hotel is on top of a steep hill on the edge of the city centre. The street plan produced by the city office is not very detailed, which did not help me to find the hotel. The hotel gives guests a much better map

Séjour correct mais en dessous de ce qu’on attend dans un tel hôtel. J’ai eu une chambre communicante et un voisin qui a allumé la télé à 6h, on entend tout avec la porte commune … L’odeur des égouts qui remontent de la salle de bain parfume toute la chambre. La salle de sport était vraiment sale et mériterait une remise en état de certains équipements. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet, le jambon n’était pas frais et la qualité des produits n’est pas exceptionnelle. L’accueil reste néanmoins bon.

Would definitely stay here again! Excellent room that was twice the size of our other hotel rooms! The breakfast was one of the best we’ve eaten in Europe! The lounge / bar area was nice to hang out in during the evening. Parking lot was a plus and only 10 euro per night.

De accomodatie zelf was goed alleen is het me onduidelijk waarom de nachtkastjes bevestigd zijn op 1 meer naast het bed en er tevens geen leeslampjes aanwezig zijn. In het restaurant hebben we meer dan anderhalf uur moeten wachten op onze maaltijd, de aanwezige obers negeerden ons, we moesten zelf achter alles vragen. Zeer chaotisch ontbijt waarbij tafels niet werden afgeruimd of terug gedekt, we moesten zelf ons bestek e.d. bij elkaar gaan zoeken.

Het hotel was langs binnen en buiten heel mooi. De wellness was heel vuil en langs de ramen zit al roest wat zeer gevaarlijk is voor de kinderen. Het restaurant is van eten heel lekker. De bediening van het restaurant was ok. Het ontbijt is zeer gevarieerd maar wordt zo goed als niet aangevuld. Het was er vrij druk maar er zat totaal geen structuur in. Wij hebben 5 maal moeten vragen of ze de tafel wilden afruimen waar het vorige nog stond. De bediening van het ontbijt was totaal niet in orde. De kamers waren in orde. Het is een vrij prijzig hotel waardoor wij vonden dat het dan ook allemaal in orde mocht zijn

Nicely situated hotel in Liege with convenient (cheap) car park across the street; friendly and very helpful staff at reception/concierge desk. Rooms are clear, with good amenities and a spacious bathroom. We had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant where the food was very good. The cook-to-order egg station and wide choice at breakfast for a reasonable price were a plus. We will undoubtedly use the hotel again next time we visit Liege

Room was ready so the very helpful reception staff let us check in early. Pool and sauna were excellent - didn’t use the gym - with robes and towels for the pool supplied in the room. Very comfortable large room and bathroom. Parking available opposite the hotel for a charge.

The room was dirty, the hallways were dirty, the staff was not interested at all to provide a pleasant customer experience. A stunning example is that staff took the elevator before us to transport dirty dishes. The breakfast was extremely messy with empty coffee machines, broken juice machines, empty yoghurt, other products. We had to find our own cuttlery and the staff was generally completely overwhelmed. For nearly 500 euro’s per night the quality was far, far from what is to be expected at those prices. The spa looked good but it was so crowded we decided not to go.
