It was a nice hotel for the most part. However there is a need for improvement in certain respects. First off, we stayed three nights with zero housekeeping. While it was stated that we had to reserve housekeeping, we never had any kind of service. We just requested fresh towels. Nothing in all the three days. I guess we could of asked, but we were at the beach all day. We were promised homemade cookies. There were some the first night. Nothing for night one and two. I guess the biggest irritation is the lack of vending machines. Oh yeah there was ONE machine with only cans of soda. Of course the machine was dated and only accepted cash. So I guess if you only have a credit card, you are out of luck. It would not be a big deal if there was a store nearby. Beds and air conditioning were comfortable. The free bike was a nice touch. Nobody in the pool. I checked it and it was freezing cold.

Staff was excellent. Couldn’t be nicer! Breakfast doesn’t offer much except breads and waffles. Eggs and sausage would be nice or something similar. Pool was very very small. Close to beach and Broadway St. I would stay here again if for no other reason than the friendliness of the employees.

The fire pit, pool, and free breakfast were options that I enjoyed! I didn't enjoy the parking lot but we were able to find parking across the street which worked out.

I’m going to do an honest review – not a bad one, but an honest one. I was surprised at checking that this hotel had 9.2 out of 10 for reviews. The front desk was empty when I went to check in on Saturday, but I couldn’t blame the attendant because it looked like she was the only one here doing everything. The hotel parking lot is comical, but thankfully there is parking in the back. The parking lot is very difficult to maneuver and when turning the corner, unless you have a tiny car, it’s gonna take more than one try if the lot is full. The hotel set up is different. Some of the rooms are inside and some of them face the outside. We were in one of the ones facing outside so the noise from other rooms and the street was not muffled. The room was small with the two beds so there wasn’t a lot of room to put luggage. I did like the sink outside the bathroom, which helped when getting ready. You can tell it is an older hotel that has been updated. The bathroom door didn’t shut well unless you forced it and it was loud. The shower head was also comical. Only about half the nozzles sprayed. Breakfast was continental. They had a few options like bagels, cereal, waffles, and and hard boiled eggs. It took us a little while to figure out the room temp to get it right. Not too hot not too cold. Overall it was clean and the people were nice, but I would give it a solid 7 overall not 9.2.

Older, but updated and remodeled. Our room was very clean and had a fresh scent. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was OK. They had cold hard boiled eggs, but scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon would have been nice. They had all the other usual breakfast items you'd expect. My daughter liked the strawberry waffles, I had regular waffles. It wasn't the least expensive, nor the most expensive I'd found, so I guess the value was good (everything costs too much these days it seems). We were in a two queen bed room with our daughter. Another time if we stay longer than 2 nights, or bring more family I'd like to try a kitchenette room or a suite. The pool was nice, but the hot tub had been filled in with concrete. I don't like hot tubs, so no problem for me!

It was a perfect stop over on our way up the coast. The kids loved the bright colored doors, the breakfast was perfect for the early morning hangrys. Despite the building being obviously old, it was well cared for & very clean. The best part might have been the dog welcome basket & how welcome the dogs were.

This was a good hotel, the room was pretty nice. The pool is tiny and the seating around it also tiny which means you’re bound to get wet. Other than that we enjoyed this hotel. Conveniently close walking distance to all the shopping/food and the beach.

This was a good enough place to stay. Our room had a bit of a musty smell and there was a large stain on the carpet. I appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. The pool is very small so we didn’t go in because it was busy. The staff was warm but I didn’t love that at check-in the employee loudly said my full email address and phone number in front of the others waiting in line. Bed was not super comfortable, but didn’t keep me awake. The seagulls are VERY loud so I advise a noise machine - I think that’s not unique to this particular building though. For the price, it was a good deal and we would consider staying again. Very walkable and the continental breakfast was a nice amenity.

We walked into our room. Found the old slice of pizza under the tv stand. Bathroom toilet was dirty. Called down to the front guest. The lady I spoke to was very embarrassed and apologized profusely. She gave us a new room. When we walked into the 2nd room, it was occupied. I would have canceled my reservation but it was after the deadline. The 3rd room was clean and no surprises. Again the staff was amazing but I would t stay there again.

Room was a good size. Breakfast was the bare minimum. One day I asked for a partial turn down service and it did not get done so I had to track down a house keeper for more toilet paper. Washer and dryer was free which was decent, but only 1 unit per whole hotel.

Immediate area felt safe. Property is older but well maintained & obviously constantly working to keep it up-to-date & comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet is always a plus. Nice selection - the usual including waffles, biscuits & gravy, coffee & juice, etc.

The hotel was very cute. Check in was easy and the front desk was super nice and helpful. The room itself wasn’t terrible but it definitely felt worn. The carpet was gross. Beds were comfortable and clean. We spent a lot of time in Seaside at the mall and boardwalk checking out the shops. Everything was walkable distance.

Front desk staff were great. Room was ok but not like any of the pictures posted. A small table with chairs would be a nice addition to room 217. Need to fix the peeling ceiling and hanging fire sprinkler in the bathroom. Mattress was not great.

Stayed over the weekend. Unbeknownst to us that the roof was being replaced and we were staying at the top floor. When we got there we inquired if the work would be paused over the weekend - we got the mixed messages from the staff and the workers themselves. Needless to say they were working on the roof - with loud bangs for hours on Saturday & Sunday. I understand that it is a temporary situation but I wished that property would have been more clear about the work, we may have stayed at someplace else. Additionally, the Room 318 where we stayed shares the wall with the elevator. And we heard the elevator going up and down whenever we are in the room - over the weekend including late at night. However the staff were courteous and friendly. Tried to accommodate us to a different room but did not fit our needs - party of 5.

Location was convenient as it was close to the main strip in town, the beach, and right next to the river. I was surprised however at how loud it was due to not much soundproofing. The door was a regular wood door and the walls seemed thin. We also had someone above us that wasn’t loud but we could hear ever footstep and everything they did.

My wife and 4 year old and myself stayed in a 2 queen standard room. The good: room was clean, front desk service was good. The bad: room/structure was old. Wood on bathroom door warped and peeling off; bathroom doir didnt even close (uneven). Room was cramped. Bathroom small, so small that the door swing zone took all the space in bathroom and it was hard to get in and have space to close the door behind me (and im not big) The value for money was poor. I paid $900 for 2 nights including tax. There are a few small motels with very compatable rooms for 50-60% of that price...in same area, close to beach. If i go to seaside again ill either stay in a motel or a true hotel/suite.

Some of the rooms are inside and some of them face the outside. We were in one of the ones facing outside so the noise from other rooms and the street was not muffled. The room was small with the two beds so there wasn’t a lot of room to put luggage. I did like the sink outside the bathroom, which helped when getting ready. You can tell it is an older hotel that has been updated. The bathroom door didn’t shut well unless you forced it and it was loud. The shower head was also comical. Only about half the nozzles sprayed. Breakfast was continental. They had a few options like bagels, cereal, waffles, and and hard boiled eggs. It took us a little while to figure out the room temp to get it right. Not too hot not too cold. Overall it was clean and the people were nice, but I would give it a solid 7 overall not 9.2.

We booked a room last minute after an impromptu beach day turned into an impromptu overnight. The location is great, lobby/breakfast area is a nice vibe and well-kept, check in was a breeze, and staff was awesome! The room itself was two-bedrooms (downside, bedrooms got hot cause A/C was only in main room) with a bed and pullout couch in the living area so would be good for a larger family or group. Things are dated here and some of the fixes (such as numbering of floors on elevator buttons) looked like a less-than-professional fix. The rooms also need new drapes as there is a great deal of ambient light coming through at all hours. Overall, still a good place to stay, but could be great with some renovation.

The Inn at Seaside was cute and modern. Our room (king with kitchenette) was clean with a comfy bed and plenty of amenities (towels, coffee, two vanities, microwave, fridge, etc) Internet was reliable, staff were friendly, breakfast had a good variety (I loved the biscuits and gravy). I recommend bringing earplugs though. We were on the top floor and the seagulls were very active early in the morning.

Overall decent spot to stay in good location. Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Decor was confusing. Nice breakfast spread in the morning though. Also, Every time we tried to speak with front desk, they were always on the phone and we waited forever. They should have a separate line and rep assist with over the phone reservations. Not sure why they would do that and take away from the guests that walk in. All in all, it was decent for the price and short stay

My visit was off-season, so the hotel was very quiet - just the way I like it. Staff was welcoming and friendly and the warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival were a nice touch. Walk to the touristy section of town was about two blocks. Desk clerk gave a good recommendation for dinner at Finn's Fish House.

It was a nice hotel for the most part. However there is a need for improvement in certain respects. First off, we stayed three nights with zero housekeeping. While it was stated that we had to reserve housekeeping, we never had any kind of service. We just requested fresh towels. Nothing in all the three days. I guess we could of asked, but we were at the beach all day. We were promised homemade cookies. There were some the first night. Nothing for night one and two. I guess the biggest irritation is the lack of vending machines. Oh yeah there was ONE machine with only cans of soda. Of course the machine was dated and only accepted cash. So I guess if you only have a credit card, you are out of luck. It would not be a big deal if there was a store nearby. Beds and air conditioning were comfortable. The free bike was a nice touch. Nobody in the pool. I checked it and it was freezing cold.

The 2 room suite worked great for us as we had 2 small kids with us. The indoor pool was nice , other hotels only had an outdoor pool. It was great for the rainy cool day. The free breakfast options were satisfactory too. Waffles, avocado toast, hot and cold cereal , fruit , eggs… a nice quiet breakfast. We choose this hotel over and over because it’s a block back from the sometimes noisy boardwalk.

This was a good enough place to stay. Our room had a bit of a musty smell and there was a large stain on the carpet. I appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. The pool is very small so we didn’t go in because it was busy. Staff was excellent. Couldn’t be nicer! Breakfast doesn’t offer much except breads and waffles. Eggs and sausage would be nice or something similar. Pool was very very small. Close to beach and Broadway St. I would stay here again if for no other reason than the friendliness of the employees.
