Very average, rooms/bathrooms need alot of work. First room smelt so bad of cigarette smoke, we were given another room which was good but the shower screen was broken in that room. We didn’t even bother asking for a 3rd room. Pool, spa, gym and one lift were out of service no prior warning before booking. Good location could walk to every thing.

This bed was great. And the carpet was clean but the bathroom shower and kitchen certainly are due for a makeover. The pool area is extremely tired. Won’t be back !

Checking was easy the room was nice the only thing I would say is housekeeping in the rooms need to dust skirting boards but apart from that I was happy with my stay you can park up and walk everywhere

The carpets needs to be cleaned or replaced very stained. Our 36 week pregnant daughter and granddaughter had to wait for 40 minutes for the elevator to get to level 9. It was my wedding day and this caused a lot of stress and being behind schedule. Due to only one elevator working and the cleaning staff using the same elevator.

Room was in a very bad way - old, smelly and in need of a refit. Carpet was lifting, bathroom fixtures rusty and in need of attention. The whole unit smelt musty, and wasn't really fit for purpose at $500+ a night. Staff on check in were lovely. But could not stay here again. This was our last visit.

Old and grubby and not worth the cost a night. Cockroach baits in living area. Mouldy bathroom ceiling, balcony flooring buckled and unsafe. Bedding dirty and sheets so thin can see mattress. Also mattress hard and uncomfortable. On check out receptionist acted like nothing new in people being unhappy. Took photos but app won't allow upload.

Still a good place. But we stayed in one of the penthouse apartments and it could do with a bit of a refurb. Clearly showing signs of age in the equipment and the cleaning was not up to scratch for something in that price range. Staff friendly and very helpful, just a tired building that I wasn’t expecting for the price.

Close to everything ie bars & shopping. Could do with a freshen up. Cracked bathroom sink & mould on the cornice in the bathroom. No working exhaust fan in the bathroom. Smelt musty every time you re-entered the room. Lifts sounded clunky.

While we had a lovely stay and our apartment was clean. The apartments need updating. Carpet was badly stained and worn. Fan in main bedroom would only turn on low. Air conditioning in main area was very noisy (rattling). No fan at all in second bedroom

Great service from the front desk staff. The location is perfect, we parked the car and left it there all weekend as everything was walking distance. Downside is the bathrooms need an upgrade as they have a lot of build up, no aircon in the bedroom and the beds are only queen sized and are hard. Close to some amazing restaurants.

I really valued the staff!! Stayed here post-surgery as I couldn't mobilise at home. The staff were all extremely helpful, respectful & friendly. They were all ready to help whenever they saw me, They even went out to buy a new shower chair for me to use as they were not happy with the one they had in storage. I couldn't be more happy with the service. Thankyou all ♥️

The location is central to Ruthven Street and therefore convent to attractions such as the art deco Strand cinema. The area is largely safe , but feels less so after dark when some homeless people appear and youths drink and call out late into the night. The hotel room has all the basic needs for a short stay, but is soulless. On arrival it smelt musty. The room we stayed in was due for refurbishment: the air conditioner dripped water internally; taps had lost their chrome; the jug seemed to shed water everywhere; and there was some unidentified leak from the rear of the toilet pedestal). In summary, there are better places on offer with just a little less convenience.
