Quality Inn & Suites New Castle

While the hotel is obviously older, it is in good condition and VERY clean and well maintained. Lobby was clean and smelled fresh. Didn't really eat breakfast so can't speak to that. Nice little doggie walk area outback. Room very clean and bed was nice and comfy. A/C worked great. Best part was the super helpful and friendly staff! Will stay again when in town.

A solid, pleasant option. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. There was a full house and I didn’t hear my neighbors at all, so that’s great. Note that there is no elevator at this property. Didn’t bother me but if you have mobility issues, make sure to ask for a first floor room. Shower was decent and bathroom was clean. I’d stay there again.

Was quiet and comfortable. Short walk to room and ice and outdoor patio. The outside had a tropical vibe i liked and was clean. Staff very nice and someone was always visible at the front desk. Parking lot well lit at night. Overall id stay there again.

The aluminum was clean.The people were very nice. My only complaint would be that there was no elevator. We had a very heavy bag and had to drag it up the stairs.

We had a first floor room but still had to walk up about 7 steps to get to the room and this was hard on my wife. Even though there is a second floor there is no elevator in the hotel.

Older hotel, slightly outdated, could use new floors and larger TVs with more channels however, there is parking for truckers/semi. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Very large jetted tub in the suites. Even if slightly outdated, its still a GREAT hotel, we loved it, and will certainly be back here when in town.

Parking is safe though at first it seemed not due to the site's placement. The room was good. But it was a bit lonely since it was 1 hour drive from the city of Pittsburgh. Otherwise staffs were gentle and helpful. Thanks team!

There were 5 bugs in window seal 2 alive the rest dead Tub drain didn't work and i stood in 7 inches of water after shower I have pictures for proof And the wouldn't let me check in on the 13th.. they changed the date in their system to the 12th..

Room size and beds were ok. However the room was not very clean. There were bloody looking small stains on the wall. The carpets were pretty filthy. The only positive was the staff was very friendly and welcoming

The staff was wonderful and the hotel was clean and quiet. However there is a distinct musty odor.

Clogged drain and shower filled when you used facilities. Toilet flushed very slow as if it was going to rise up and overflow. Maintenance came to unclog it. But no results. The refrigerator every time it clicked on sounded like a 1980s alarm clock buzzing

Checkin was okay. We were put in a room in the "basement" floor where there were maybe 6 rooms. As soon as we opened the door, the smell was pretty bad. It smelled like dog urine/mildew. We had to spray our perfume around the room. The bed itself was clean and comfortable. There was a plastic fork, along with some "dirt" above the coatrack ledge. Someone was propping the door open on the side door close to our room which did not feel very safe. Our check out process went well.

There was a small roach on the bed when we arrived. There was a dog next door that barked when we entered in our room and the alarm clock next to the bedd sounded at midnight. Didnt get too much sleep. I tried to add photos but al not able to.

This hotel was older but it was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in more than a few). We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of our room and every common area. The staff was also helpful and pleasant.

Our stay started off kinda sour when the entire hotel smelled like a strong pine air freshener....everywhere! Even our room! Our allergies were going crazy. Then our bathroom was not clean. The tub still had hair and soap scum. The sink had hair in it. Floor had hair. None of it was ours. The sound of water going thru pipes sounded all night long. The tub faucet dripped all night and when showering was incredibly difficult to pull up to start the showerhead. Breakfast was sad, no eggs or apple juice. Cereal was stale. OJ was tart and undesirable.

What a Gem!Such a wonderful little spot that felt like a home away from home.We (me, husband & son) travelled from Toronto,Canada and this Inn exceeded our expectations.Very,very clean from the rooms to the hallways,to the front area,even the breakfast area was being consistently cleaned.The staff was exceptional,from Ana to Christie & Tiffany who were so welcoming,informative,some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.You can tell they really care about the Inn,are so happy that you are there and want you to have the best experience.The Inn is so well kept,clean and smells lovely…very rare to have but the hallways and rooms smelt lovely and my little guy even made comments-shout out to the housekeeping staff,you do a phenomenal job!Beds were very clean and comfortable, room was spotless,plenty of clean well folded towels,TV had many great channels,fridge was bigger than your typical hotel fridge.There was even a microwave and coffee machine with sealed cups and coffee/tea.The well stocked breakfast was great with a bit of everything for everyone,we thoroughly enjoyed it.It was a nice quiet respectful place and we all slept amazingly which is usually rare with other places.We were so impressed with this Inn,the staff definitely make it beyond 5 stars,they are the heart of this place.Thank you for everything that you do! It does not go unnoticed. We will be returning to New Castle/Pittsburgh and will 100% be staying here and have already recommended it to friends.

Thin walls, creaky ceilings so upstairs guests sound like elephants stomping around.

Very comfortable room. However the vent in the ceiling was incredibly noisy and annoying. Im also a little displeased that we couldn't keep the fan in the room on. Overall though, we were able to ger a good night's sleep after our investigation at Hill View Manor.

When I walked into my room it amazing! A lite was left on for me and the air conditioning on perfectly! I went into this huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. Beautifully cleaned!! Mirrors were impeccable. My room was spacious and clean. Lights were everywhere with outlets and usb ports! Saved me because I forgot mine. And the breakfast was delicious! Sausage and biscuits and waffles fresh. ATM in the lobby which saved me from having to go find one. Definitely one of my favorites trips. I will be back!

The stay was adequate. The hotel itself felt old and worn out, the bathroom in particular doesn't seem to have been updated in the last 20 years and the fan was extraordinarily loud. The service was extremely friendly. Breakfast was very crowded and the staff seemed to struggle to keep fresh food coming in the very small breakfast area. Everything was very clean, it just felt like the building needs some updates and repairs.

The place smelled good and was very clean. The staff was friendly. The location was awesome! There are many stores and residents around the property and it is a perfect location for anyone going to the cathedral! The jetted tub was nice , but the jets were not strong enough & the beds were firm beds not soft. I prefer firm ,but my daughter likes soft ,so it all depends on preference. The pillows were comfy and the breakfast was satisfying! This is going to be my go to hotel when I am out that way! I will definitely be back.

We stayed for 1 night & the hotel met all of our needs. There was a college group staying for a track meet, and our room was still quiet :) The hotel staff are great! The hotel is older, but kept clean. Bed was very comfy. Room was spacious.

My first room one of the card keys kept getting demagnetized after a few uses, and toilet clogged during last so they moved me to a new room for free. New rooms tub drain was too small and water backed up during showering causing standing water a couple inches deep covering about 40% of the tub. Staff was great though and super accommodating. I’d rate it 3.5/5 stars though.

Property was clean but old. Bathrooms need work. Tub didn’t drain well and sink faucet was impossible to adjust the temperature.

We traveled back to my hometown to attend The Over 40 Hometown Reunion. We were very pleased with our stay. Staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. We will diffently return to stay wherever we are in the area. Thanks Christy.

Room was fine. However fitness center was "closed until further notice". That was a big disappointment. Breakfast is very limited. Upon arrival I paid for my 3-night stay in full. However, when I checked my credit card account, I found that my credit card was charged for an additional 2 nights. I called and was promised a refund but instead another charge showed up for the same amount. I will stop the credit card payment but I should not have to deal with two bogus charges.

The customer service at the Quality Inn was exceptional. Staff frequently checked to make sure that you had what you needed and that all was well. The room was very comfortable. We expect to return again next summer.

The staff were PHENOMENAL!! I was traveling with my dad that has limited mobility and was nervous about him showering. I called and Holly made notes to make sure there would be a shower bench in the shower. I also asked if we could have a room on the first floor closest to the front. When I arrived, not only was there a shower bench, but they had installed handlebars too!! We were also given the first room on the first floor. They truly made our stay as comfortable as possible!! If you’re traveling and need accommodations, book with them! They are friendly and truly do their best to make sure you have a great stay!

Staff was extremely nice which it seems is so hard to find anymore. To me first impressions mean the world. The first encounter you have when going to your hotel is the front desk personnel. So friendly and inviting. The room was very clean, A/C worked great, bed was comfortable, frig was cold, and TV worked great. I am very picky and I had no complaints. I know a few reviews said the rooms were outdated but honestly I would rather walk into a room and smell the clean vs seeing a new chair or desk. even though there is no elevators to get to the second floor, its not as bad as the reviews say. You go up 5 steps to a platform, then go up 5 more. Not bad at all. Overall I was very pleased and the comp breakfast was good also.

I'd made an error in my reservation, and I was at the end of my rope having not slept in 24 hours. Front desk staff figured out what the error was and helped me to correct it, got me a room, and made sure it was quiet. Next day they remembered and asked after me. staff at this hotel _understand_ hospitality. Thank you!

Staff is wonderful! I travel a lot and great staff make all the difference Clean room, everything worked. Breakfast had plenty of good choices hot and cold. Good area. Convenient location. Definitely will stay here again.

It’s a quaint little area. It’s a great place for you to lay your head and enjoy quiet night. It’s a very good restaurants around the area also and if you need to get to a grocery store, there’s one right across the street

Comfortable room with great A/C keeping the room cool on hot 90F days. Continental breakfast was reasonable but lacking anything hot other than waffles, toast, or bagels. Reasonable price for a reasonable room.

The property had no hot breakfast when we stayed. Because they were “slow”. Other than that it was alright

Holly and Chrissie at the front desk are exceptional! They were efficient, professional, and knowledgeable of the area. The hot breakfast included waffles (an absolute MUST in my book). The rooms are dated but the price and friendly staff make up the difference. The cleanliness, the water pressure and parking... All top notch. We were able to hang out with friends in the small patio area (there was a grill available to guests also) instead of having to go to somewhere. I recommend 😀

The hotel was good we have stayed there before but we will probably not stay again. The reason is that the breakfast is terrible it was better during the pandemic than it is now. Just waffles and bread no eggs or yogurt. We where there for 3 mornings had to stop on way to job to get something to eat.
