Elevator was not working so we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor

The pool was dirty the whole 2 weeks stay

Broken elevator, dirty carpet, no room service or clean towels offered.

The dead bolt would not work on the door, the toilet took 3 flushes each time. The front desk was no help. I requested a different room but they said they could fix the problem. Handiman had no clue how to fix the dead bolt. He pounded the strike plate with a hammer for a good 30 to 45 minutes at 9:15 am in the morning. Someone opened the door when I took a shower. Thankfully I had the stop latch on and I heard it when they opened the door. Probably the cleaning lady. Sad part she did fully close the door after she opened it. I got out of the shower and the door was still cracked open. I told the front desk that I wanted a new room that I was exhausted from sleeping with one eye open due to the dead bolt situation. Also, the elevator was not working the whole time. The front desk attendant, Danielle was supposed to transfer me to another room for my second night but failed to do so. I came back expecting a different room but to no avail. The front desk attendant, Rick, called Danielle to see what happened and she denied it all. It was a terrible two night. Never again

This was the worst experience I have encountered in a hotel. The first room we rented had a leaking sink that saturated the bathroom floor. The second room had a yellow stained tub. The third room had panels falling off the wall. The elevator was broken the entire weekend. One of the doors would not grant access into the hotel. It was a horrible experience. The only thing good about the stay was the staff. They were friendly and courteous. It was an absolute waste of money. Unfortunately, it was a class reunion that weekend and hotels were limited. Stuck in a hotel chaosis.

When we walked into the lobby, there was no one at the front desk to greet us, and it said go to first door on the left. No one answered at the door was walking back to the front desk, and someone came out from the back asking if they could help us. When we booked the room There was nothing mentioned about the hotel being under renovation. But later we found out the prices were jacked up due to a Christmas parade being in town. I think we were overcharged due to renovations and inconvenience. Light switches in the room did not work. Had loose wires under the AC unit. Not sure if they were live or not. On the website it says they had a pool which they did but it was not to be used Due to renovations. The bathroom did not even have a toilet paper holder due to renovations, toilet paper was on the back of the toilet.

Staff was excellent, room was average, needs repairs. Not what you expect from a overpriced hotel in a small town. The elevator doesn't work, so you have to climb the stairs.

A/C wasn't working also and the elevator wasn't working it was rough weekend

Staff is very courteous and nice and the swimming pool was working nice area staff was very helpful. Breakfast was an outstanding five star.

The staff are excellent and knowledgeable. Very clean room. Great hospitality. Mr Marcus front desk great personality, he made us feel at home. I highly recommend this Hampton Suite. Breakfast was good also…

Loved it! Only complaint is the dirty towels and random leggo and sunflower seeds found all over our room’s floor. Because we were so tired from the 4 hour drive, I had no strength to notify management. Otherwise, the staff was hospitable.

Extremely dirty,, there was so much cigarette and weed smoking on my floor, I couldn’t sleep.. The sheets were filthy.. I couldn’t find front desk help..

It was roaches and a mouse in room 110

One complaint I had was that I was not advised of the $40 incidental fee until I got there to check in. Thankfully, I had the $40 on my card. What if I didn’t have it??? The other complaint I have is there was some mold in the crevice of the bathroom tile, in the shower. Other than that, everything was nice, and the front desk clerks were too.

People clean hotel room daily then you have pets and bugs all around the place I can not stay there again

My room had lady bugs around the top of the ceiling I stopped by the front desk and told the front desk clerk. I was told she would send the maintenance man to take care but no one never that was on Saturday when I checked out on Sunday they was still there

Accommodations were not as advertised. The rooms were very worn, the shower head was duck taped in place and the mattress was uncomfortable.

I had very low water pressure and discoloration in my toilet bowl

Staff, especially afternoon guy was great. Frig and AC really didnt work. Had to ask staff to empty garbage or go to desk to get towels. Pillows were horrible.

I will give it an eight could not let the curtains down could not get the condition to work properly at first

The breakfast is trash for the amount of money they charge, the pillows are sorry too, and the coffee and breakfast juice are definitely watered down; really sad that these places are money hungry like this and provide horrible service. And the room is like a match box super small, not paying 170 a night ever again with the hampton

The staff was nice and polite. The room was decent sized, the bed was comfy. There was very litte cold water in the shower. Weak water flow in the shower. Didn't serve bacon.

Overall good stay but there was no one at the desk when getting in and when she finally came , she attempted to charge full price for a room we’d already paid for. They need a bell or something near the desk if they’re short staffed so we aren’t just standing there waiting for service. The bathroom was not spotless which is what I expect from a hotel.

Will never stay here again! Staff is untrained and hostile. Staff complained that we “booked on a third party site.” Staff woke us several times during the morning for housekeeping service because there was no “do not disturb” sign for our room. We came in very late and needed our rest, but were unable to find it here. Please look elsewhere in Greenwood!

I was double charged, once from you guys and once from the hotel company itself for this stay.

First the reservations were canceled by the hotel! Because they tried to debit money from the card early even tho we were told we would not be charged to the day of our stay! Then we had to end up paying more than what we were told we would be charged for the room! The bathroom was dirty, the carpet was not clean chicken crumbs were everywhere! Even at check in they kelpt declining my card even after transferring the money to another card in front of them and they declined that one as well only to show later the card was charged. And only after using my HUSBAND DEBIT CARD!! THE HOT WATER WAS BARLEY LUKE WARM! THE AIR CONDITIONING SUCKED! FRONT DESK BKAMED THE WHOLE reservation drama on HOTELS.COM! Glad we were checking out early for a graduation!!

I never got to stay at the hampton’s. I made reservations through Expedia. When I got to Hampton inn they told me they didn’t have any rooms. They said Expedia had been sending people to them even though they were full and told them so. Hampton inn said they would contact Expedia for me a refund , they never did, least I didn’t receive one. I have contacted Expedia several times and have had no response or received my refund, I will never use Expedia again, they are sorry. And I will never stay in a Hampton inn again, although it has always been my first choice. Never again

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in Greenwood, MS. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. Checking in and checking out convenient and in a timely manner. The Continental breakfast was great.

Upon arrival into the Hotel i was greeted by the friendly voice of CAM at the front desk. Check-in was quick and my husband and i were on our way to visit family. The cleaning staff was awesome along with the ladies in the food area. While eating breakfast on Saturday George and I were approached by the Manager Sheila who was a very cheerful and welcoming person. This was not our first stay at the Hampton Inn in Greenwood, MS so we knew what we were getting. My words to everyone I spoke with was "We'll be back" Last but not least, Marcus the young man on the evening shift is a all around gem! Kudos to the entire staff.
