I was very happy with this hotel. I was quite surprised when i walked inside the lobby i really liked the layout especially the pool area. The pool connects the inside and outside. There was alot of lounge area upstairs and down around the pool. I really enjoyed the room the way it was detup it was almost like and apartment the room also had a balcony that you could hang out on if you needed to step out and have a smoke or just hang out. Theres not relaly much to look at sround the area. It definitely felt safe. The room was clean. The guy at the front counter was very nice. Im not sure of his name but he was very nice abd friendly. Plan to stay here any other time im in the area

Room not properly cleaned: found pistachio shells on the carpet and the charging cord from a previous guest's laptop still plugged in. Had booked non-smoking room, but the whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. No elevator on site. Had not checked my work e-mails before checking in, and booked to stay for the weekend. Upon settling in and checking my e-mails, I found I was required to be some distance away the next day. I spoke with the hotel mnager, who aapproved aa reducced stay. He would not, however, respond to the agent from hotels.com - so I was charged in full for two nights I did not stay. Will not use or recommend this hotel.

The hotel room overall was nice its was lowkey like a air bnb with the kitchen area but I do have a few complaints the toilet flushing was loud and the sink in the bathroom water was loud and there was ants on the side tables of the bed (I found that out the hard way). The hotel overall was nice but they do need to figure out the ant problem.

TV never worked. Refrigerator did not work, had to change it out. Bathroom not completely clean. Lip stick all over tissues and containment area for tissues in bathroom. Asked for tissues and toilet paper, was told to just hang sign outside of the door. We stated how would they know what we want by doing this and stated we would come to the desk to pick it up. Asked for manager repeatedly and asked for a call. Said he would not be back until the 16th. Manager has not responded as of July 24, 2025. Employee, Elliott, was helpful and responsive. Also, the older lady on the desk.

New Carpeting and bedding, however room was extremely hot and did not cool down in 15 min. Told staff, they were accomidating but other room no cooler. (They leave room control off) After leaving to eat, it was tolerable. Rooms clearly had pet odor,and I felt like fleas were crawling on me from sitting in the chair. Bed slept real good though.

The staff was very nice, and the hotel was clean, though aged. However, our room was hot, and the AC did not work well. In all fairness to the staff, we did not complain. However, it was obvious that this unit was not functioning well, and the staff should have noted it during their room cleaning and fixed it.

One of the staff at the desk was not very polite. The outlets in the room were very weak. They could not hold the plug in chargers, they need to be replaced. The advertised price wasn’t honored. The booking online showed 2 days, when I checked in I told the clerk that it was for a 3 day stay. She said okay and either pretended changing the reservation or she was incompetent. The advertised price was $96 and I was charged $303 for supposedly 3 nights, but it turned out to be only 2 nights.

Everything about our stay at this location in Greenwood, Mississippi was great. The young man that was at the front desk for overnight Travaris Holmes was very nice, the morning person (female) I can't say the same. Not really approachable, never smiled and greeted certain guest. Housekeeping employees were excellent and a pleasure to work with along with the hotel engineer and let me not forget the ladies in the breakfast area. My husband and I visit Itta Bena, Ms twice a year and have stay at the other hotels in the area before we decided to try SURESTAY. It's been a great experience.
