Hampton Inn Batesville

The staff was very friendly the pool was nice The hotel was older and needed some updates was hoping for a walk in shower but it was an older bath tub with some mold spots and the elevater was a little shaky and needed updated

The inside of the hotel was nice and very clean. The outside area was very dirty. I even saw an old tire on the property.

This property was fairly clean however, it was riddled with transient activity around the property. The elevator was not working but that was understood. I would have made sure everyone knew upon booking

The room was damp feeling and just grungy and bedding was dirty. The staff were all very friendly and did promptly change the sheets when we asked. The pool didn’t have an umbrella, the gate was in poor shape, the fence was rusted out at the bottom. Not very safe for little kids. It was cheap enough. I accidentally booked the wrong Hampton inn. So we were stuck staying since it was non-refundable.

Definitely could use an update. There were dirty linens left out in hallway all night. Black specks in the ice from ice machines.

Clean but out dated Ice machine didn’t work No rollaway beds Spare blankets were dirty But the breakfast bar was wonderful

The gentleman that checked us in was absolutely wonderful. I wish I would’ve got his name. He made us feel very welcomed and had lots of great information. The parking lot is well lit and the breakfast was wonderful.

This is easy off and on to 55. Also excepts our dog for extra $50 fee. Room clean, quiet. There was no soap dispenser in the bathroom or conditioner in the shower. Not a deal breaker. The hotel had not received their delivery so no soda available. Again not a deal breaker. Great exercise room with treadmill,peloton, weights and working TV. Very nice choices for breakfast hot and cold. Would definitely stay here again

The property was not super clean. The elevator was sketchy too. The card readers outside did not work, so we had to walk all the way around the building with our luggage to get back in from the back parking lot. The pet fee was listed as $50 on Expedia, but when we got there, they said it had increased to $75. I would not stay here again.

Sheets not changed. Potato chips in bed. Blood stains on bed. Breakfast good.

Woke up on my birthday to BED BUGS!!

Upon arrival everything seemed great till we got to our room. The room stunk so bad that we had to ask to be moved. They are not taking the cleanliness serious enough. They had built up mold in the bathroom in the tub area. The next morning for breakfast there was hardly anything to choose from. The didn't even have napkins to use.

There was mold growing above the shower head and the room smelled like mildew.

Bathrooms were gross in public area. No TP. Toilet in room was filthy at check in

Towels were dirty had strands of hair everywhere tub was dirty and so was toilet

The room was dirty, blinds broken, smelled liked stale smoke, no trash bags in containers, and bed had a mattress pad on-top on the sheet.

The room smelled like dirty feet and the back entrance wouldn't unlock and the parking lot in the front was full. Other than that, everything was fine. Beds were comfy and the double queen had enough room for an air mattress, if you need an extra bed.

This hotel is okay. The room I stayed in needs some updating. The mattress could be more comfortable, but was okay. The bathroom ceiling was pealing. The fire sprinkler was total rust, would be amazed if it still worked. The bathtub needs a total update cracks in the caulking. TV could probably be updated as well. Staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast could be a bit better. Gravy was not good and the grits were watered down and inedible. They appeared to only have corn flakes for cereal. If I return to the area I would still consider staying there again. But a facelift is definitely in order.

The smoke detector kept going off in the middle of the night

Bad lighting, bad desk chair, no desk drawer, very low flow water in sink and shower, very soft pillows with little stuffing,. The staff was very nice but the overall experiance was only 2 star.

Probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.

Affordable and quiet. Check-in was quick and lady at front desk was kind and efficient. Bed was very uncomfortable and i tossed and turned the entire night. Not the most restful night. Need new mattresses or better quality mattresses.

Everything was good but needs more coffee accessories like (extra sugar packs). The bathroom floor was not clean. Beds very comfortable! Could hear all noises in hallway! Blinds on the window were broken.

Ceiling in bathroom was peeling, entry door to room didn't close properly. Had to ensure it latched when closing.

Hotel was clean, accessible room curtains didn’t work so room was dark all the time. No daylight coming in

The Hotel was an okay place to stay for an overnight. It could use some upgrades especially in the Bathroom and the cooling system. We recorded the sound it made on our phones. It sounded like an aircraft taxi to the gate when it started to run. Not an easy thing to sleep with all night. I’m pretty sure they knew it was an issue because the filters were out of the unit and laying on top when we arrived. We replaced them. Too late and too tired to complain.

The Hampton Inn suffered from very poor management and very poor maintenance. I doubt we'll be staying in any more Hampton Inns. When we arrived it took 5 trips to the front desk to get key cards that would unlock the door to the room. The front desk person went with us on the last 2 trips and still had trouble getting key cards to work. When we went in the room it was 64 degrees and the thermostat didn't work. It took some time to adjust the room temp using controls on the window unit. The beds were terrible. any movement made a loud metallic clanking sound. Need I say more?

Stayed for 2 nights during Ole Miss move in. Great price, front desk was very friendly, breakfast was great! Room was clean, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk Dakota was amazing! She went beyond her duties to help me with my requests! All the staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel was well kept, a few areas were worn (elevator was not finished & seemed old) Breakfast was a pleasant buffet, with a good selection of hot & cold items. Location has easy access to the highway but the room was quiet. A/C on off was a little noisy. Over all a nice hotel with great staff!

Upon checking in everything seemed OK - we dropped our luggage and left the premises to find dinner. Returning to the room that evening I stepped into the bathroom to shower, turned on the water and lowered the lid of the toilet to put my towel on it, only to discover there was feces smeared on the lid (which, of course you could not see until you put the lid down). Because I was already stepping into the shower which seemed clean, I went ahead and bathed. Getting out of the shower I was greeted with a message that showed up on the mirror when it steamed over "KILL YOU". Guess the mirror wasn't cleaned either. I went to the front desk to report these issues and was told there was no cleaning staff on duty and they would change our room. Since we were only staying the one night I really did NOT wish to repack everything and move at 9 pm, I was ready to sleep. I asked for cleaning supplies to take care of it myself and was refused, clerk told me she was also on the cleaning staff at times and would be right down to clean up. Waited 2 hours and went to bed. Sheets were too small for the bed and kept popping off. Next morning went to breakfast around 8:45 am to find no gravy and no coffee. Had to lean around the corner and shout at the desk clerk and interrupt his video gaming to ask about the coffee - it never did get refilled before we left. Staff was not interested in the comfort of the guests AT ALL. Terrible service over all.

Do NOT book this hotel! We reserved a queen size room from June 8-June 12. When we arrived at the property, the desk receptionist who I believe is named Brenda stated that she could not find our registration. She blamed us for arriving late (we had an emergency). However, we had already paid in full for our stay. She said that I would have to contact Expedia regarding a refund. I contacted Expedia on Sunday but the property is actively not answering their phone calls or responding to their messages inquiring about our claim. I called on Tuesday at 11:57 AM and spoke with someone who called himself Simeon. He said he was a manager and claimed that he would issue a refund from the amount they charged and to have Expedia contact them and they would refund the rest. However, the hotel staff will NOT pick up the phone and if they do they put you on hold sometimes without ever even saying hello. I kept one line on hold last night for 3 hours and another for 1 hr 45 min. I spoke with Brenda again at one point and she took my name and number for Simeon. When I asked for his email, she put me on hold and never came back. I can show you where I’ve made numerous attempts to call property. This is FRAUDULENT!!! We frequently travel and stay at Hampton Inn as our preferred choice hotel. NEVER AGAIN! Give me my money back because I was denied entry into the room I had already paid in full. I will be filing notice with the state of Mississippi regarding this fraud.

The desk clerk was very helpful in several ways.

Nothing like finally getting to your room at 1:30 am after concert traffic to be told they overbooked by one room and you don't have one. Why would you overbook more rooms than you physically have? We then had to get back in the car and drive 3 hours home because there were no rooms available anywhere.

My stay was great with two exceptions. The lady at front desk at night was rude and nasty for no reason and our room was not cleaned the next day, no trashed emptied and we could not get fresh towels.

Easy checkin, easy checkout, friendly and helpful staff

The staff was so incredibly accommodating. After a quick check-in, our key wasn't working correctly. The staff fixed it right away. They were kind, responsive & professional which we appreciated after a long day of travelling. This hotel was such a nice find. We look forward to staying again soon. Accommodations were great, but mostly, we appreciated the staff.

Not many choices to eat in the area. Good place to walk.

This motel has an extremely convenient location with good food and shopping so accessible. It is a good facility with a good staff. We did have trouble with a slippery floor.

Clean room but we did notice 2 different types of insects in the room. Hotel was right off of the interstate which was nice but the noise from traffic was noticeable and I felt like we were in a bad part of town. Lots of traffic.

it was a really nice place to stay but one day the hot breakfast food was cold. Very sad about that.

The room was comfortable, the pool was nice and the breakfast and employees were great! I want to say that Dana on the desk and Lawrie (sp) in the breakfast area were especially nice!

The staff was courteous. The breakfast was good. The room needed a lot of work and the bathroom could have been cleaner. This Hampton also charged 3 times what we paid for a pet in MO at a Hampton there. Had to get help to get the internet to work as it wanted me to sign up for something. The staff at the desk made special calls to help me which was nice.

One of the main reasons I try and stay at Hampton inns is because they have a really good breakfast, this morning breakfast was supposed to start at 6 AM and I was needing to leave no later than 615 to make my meeting. I stayed downstairs from 6 AM to 6:15 AM with the ladies telling me they almost have breakfast ready several times, but never did at the time I had to leave

Great beds, quiet rooms, very well put together for comfort and style. Everything you could want in a room. Breakfast was amazing. So delicious, variety and presentation was wonderful. Great flavor, and I enjoyed the area as well. Comfortable, very pleasant and accommodating staff. Thank you I will be back.

This hotel sits off the highway a bit, but is still conveniently located. It is pretty quiet and surrounded by trees which block out the noise from the road. Our room was the only one without a number or a plaque on the wall. The beds were not too comfortable, loved having a dedicated work space, but the fabric desk chair seems filthy. The room's lack of lighting made it hard to be in there at night. The bathroom toiletries were amazing! The floor in the room was slippery/greasy and the floor in the breakfast room was sticky. This was the first undesirable experience at Hampton Inn. The breakfast was less than enticing. There were no cups for juice and no utensil to take hot waffles off the griddle, and the crock pot full of watery gravy looked horrible. The printer in the business center was offline and wouldn't print, couldn't find anyone to help with this.
