An amazing room in a nice quiet location with good transport links. Plenty of shops nearby and several well priced, excellent eateries. Arrived with a bag full of laundry after two weeks in Vietnam, and was able to wash and dry it all within a couple of hours of arriving for $6. Would 100% study here again

A lovely place in a quiet neighborhood right next to the police station. The staff was very friendly and nice. It was painful bringing the luggage to the third floor without an elevator but it was ok. We got a room with an air conditioning which was a great idea. We would definitely stay again the next time we come to Sydney.

This is not a Holiday Inn, but is a charming older boutique hotel. Creaky stairs, lovely finishing, and rooms have character. An updated bathroom with excellent shower. Parking tricky, but manageable via onstreet and a few spots in back lane- for small vehicle. Would stay here again . Great value.

I love this charming hotel. A discrete, afterhours key locker meant that I could still be welcomed securely when arriving after business hours. My room provided everything I needed for a short stay. The property faces a pretty, leafy park and is only minutes walking distance from the UNSW and Randwick racecourse

The Avonmore is a beautiful boutique hotel. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and is located directly across from a park. Regarding the staff, they were awesome, the Managers, George, Mathew and Kevin, were all very knowledgeable, had great dining recommendations. And thanks to Mathew, who after not hearing me exiting my room and meeting the Uber, came and woke me up at 5:30am so I would be at the airport on time. And the Domestic staff did a fantastic job of keeping the rooms and common areas spotless.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location and I enjoyed it. However, some of the power points in the room worked intermittently and the office closes at 6pm! The television only worked on the first night I was there (of 3) and the control panel could not be changed. Nevertheless, it was generally excellent and I would stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous building overlooking the park. We were very warmly welcomed and given lots of tips on what to do. Our room was very nicely decorated with a mix of modern and period features. Modern bathroom. Close to all the shops and restaurants and a short drive to the coogee to bondi cliff walk

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely old terrace home. The room was very spacious, with a separate sitting area situated on the ground floor. Close to shops and transport and walking distance to the beach if you don’t mind the up hill climb home. Only a very minor disappointment was that the room opened onto a walkway and looked into a meeting room, so no private outdoor space. But for the price this spacious room was excellent and we didn’t mind forgoing the outdoor space.

It is a lovely hotel in a great location and I enjoyed it. However, some of the power points in the room worked intermittently and the office closes at 6pm! The location across from the park and a 5 minute walk to the shops. The most outstanding thing for me was the service, front desk to housekeeping, all were warm, welcoming and nothing was a bother irrespective of the request. Well done 👏

This is a gem of a hotel... absolutely silent, characterful, really comfortable and really well-appointed. The staff are so lovely. Sydney's public transport is excellent and there are many buses and the light rail very close by the hotel. Shops too are just round the corner. Superb!

Hotel clasico con solera. Habitaciones amplias con mobiliario y decoracion de la epoca, Kichenette y ajuar muy bie n. Baños nuevos en habitacion muy bien ideados comodos y bonitos Esta muy cerca del tranvia L1 que te deja en centro Sydney y la parada bus a Coogee esta a 15metros. Tiendas supermercados y restaurantes muchos muy cerca.
