Great place near to my greyhound bus stop. Cute little hut. I loved my hut. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy place. If staying in accommodation where you need to use the communal kitchen, remember to bring plates, cutlery etc as none provided. It's not like a hostel communal kitchen. Or book units with kitchenette. Wifi is pretty bad no matter how many routers they say they have. Works fine between 4am and 7am then nothing. Works ok outside your hut but just by the main gate. Just have your own data.

Nice holiday park but for the price the property needs some work. Basic things like flywire screens for the cabins, & umbrellas for the pool area for sun protection really short be included for basic traveller comfort & safely.

Experience is as expected for a cabin in a caravan park. Pros are that there is pretty good wifi throughout the property including in the cabins and at the pool. Cabin was clean, had bath towels and basic cooking utensils. Checkin was easy and there was plenty of parking space out the front of the cabin. Also, it’s a very short walk to shops and restaurants . Cons are that on New Year’s Day the pool closed early at 4pm because the staff went home and it couldn’t be left unattended. That was a real bummer. Also, the photo of the beach with the description “view from property” is completely inaccurate - the park is about 15 mins walk from beach (view from property is of a main road).

Property was outdated, old small bathroom with an air conditioner in it and you required to leave the bathroom door open to use. Very limited kitchen supplies making it difficult to prepare any meals. The floors were very dirty, l wouldn’t advise walking around without shoes. The bathroom wall had what appeared like fecies on the wall in one section. The very old shower with a small bath at the bottom was incredibly slippery and was without a slip mat. My elderly mother fell hurting herself. This property was very overpriced with very little value for money and dangerous for elderly people with little to no room around the bed to get to kitchen/bathroom facilities

A convenient place to stay for one night. The bed was comfortable and clean as were the kitchen utensils. The bathroom floor (not shower recess) was very poor - stained and very dirty looking. The bathroom door was missing a handle and the pack of the door was very dirty. The toilet roll holder was not intact and could not be used correctly.

The Air Conditioning Unit wasn’t working. Although on the surface it was cleaned, there was mildew on the window sills and a deep clean of drapes, window sills, walls and shower curtain is due. If your expectation is more of a campground than a hotel, then it might meet your expectation. The location is great and staff were very friendly.

The room was not clean. We had a spider and a cockroach. The cleaners had to come in and clean whilst we were out for dinner. Towels were not clean and had to be replaced. There wasnt toiletries so they had to send some in. Will not stay here again.

Room was sub standard and felt very grubby. Had to wash all dishes, pans and cutlery before using as it did not appear clean. Curtains were stained, not properly hung and did not close properly. Very old, tired and not pleasant. Real shame because convenient location for bus terminal, pleasant setting and good outdoor space. Could be so much better with TLC.

Got the share bathroom cabins. Listed as having aircon and it doesn’t- was exceptionally hot with limited airflow. Cabin also only has a lockable screen door and curtain. Property is not as advertised. The shared bathroom and kitchen facilities are good but 0 pressure in the ladies showers, could barely have a shower. General facilities are good, but advertising air conditioning and having not even a fan was NOT acceptable. Asked for an iron and ironing board as well - didn’t get it (was on request).

Good value stay. Location is excellent - short walk to shops, restaurants, beach and Woolies for groceries. Also close to public bus to/from Ballina Airport. Deluxe cabin was small but comfortable and functional. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Only gripes were limited cooking utensils and couldn’t use wifi - connection was too weak.

I loved the early morning bird calls & the sound of rain on tge roof. Internet access very poor. Reception staff friendly, cheerful, helpful. Bed was VERY hard. Position was good to walk to town in good weather. Unfortunately we had lots of rain so opted to drive.

Great location, neat and tidy site. It was nice to have a table and chairs outside on the verandah. Most of the staff were lovely and helpful. The cabin size was good but furniture wasnt right for the size of it. The 2 beds were so old and the mattresses sagged all the way down to the floor. I am a petite person so it wasnt due to my weight. The beds need to be replaced, as do the pillows and covers.

Staff at check in and out were ok. Not friendly but gave us the basics. One female camevout to help when we had difficulty with the boom gate....it all worked just fine. She was great. Cabin was very basic and clean. Aur con quiet and worked well.

The property was in a good location. The fridge had been switched off, so there was water on the floor. One of the sockets did not work. The fire blanket is not in a good location and too near the cook top. In the event of a fire on the cook top, you would not have a clear access path to it. The internet was extremely unstable. The kitchen ware looked like it had been bought at charity shops.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war wirklich sehr gut. Und hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Toll wäre es wenn es einen Föhn und ein paar mehr Küchenutensilien gegeben hätte wie Kochlöffel, Salz, Pfeffer und Öl. Zudem war das Bett seeeehr schmal :)

We stayed in the ensuite cabins and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the front desk helpful, the showers provided hot water and the kitchenette was very useful. Only complaint would be the poor wifi and old tv’s which are not smart tvs being in the rooms as they dont have netflix/screen share or alike. Otherwise highly recommended.
