Convenient location. Near malls and near the Beijing subway. This is my 3rd time staying at Crown Plaza Zhongguancun. The staff are polite and converse well in English. Hotel isn’t modern but is decent in its amenities. Great gym and overall happy with my stay. Pillow can be a little bit more fluffed up. I found it a little flat.

Breakfast was well presented with a great selection of typical Beijing-style breakfast, Chinese food in general and some western-style offerings like baked goods, eggs and bacon, sausage etc. my favourite was the congee, pickles and Chinese Doughnuts (yutiao). Staff were always receptive and polite and tried to speak English when possible. The hotel is a little dated, and even in my suite some of the electrical outlets seemed a little ‘dicey’. Also, there was a distinct sewer smell from a the bathroom in the morning. Apart from that, it was a very good stay, made even better by the front desk manger (Connie?). The location is good as it’s a block away from a metro station (Haidian Huangzhuang), connecting to lines 4 and 10. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful hotel. The absolute stars in terms of the staff were Elena Cherkes and Nina Feng, both in the wonderful Executive Lounge on the 20th floor and serving at breakfast. Nina helped organise a vital business meeting at short notice and Elena was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. I also greatly appreciated the help of Joseph Du at reception/concierge - he went out of his way to help throughout my stay too.

Beautiful hotel! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Several water bottles were left for us each day. Very close to a subway station and restaurants. There are also 2 restaurants right in the hotel, one having breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets with LOTS of delicious food. We took the option of including the daily breakfast buffet (6:30-10:30 am) with our booking, which was convenient. Highly recommended!

The room was boiling hot when I arrived. I turned on the AC but it did nothing. I ended up opening all the windows and turning off the AC completely. By morning it was 19C in the room, but I had hardly slept. I left the windows open and put DND on the door so that the maid would not close the windows. After that it was fine. Had a really nice buffer dinner on Friday night with good German beer, barbecue, hot pot, sashimi and dessert. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza in Zhongguancun! The room was really comfortable and was a very convenient five minute walk from the subway station. We enjoyed the size of the room and view from one of the top floors. The service was also fantastic.

因為前年住在蘇州皇冠假日酒店體驗非常好，所以今次去北京也選擇這間酒店，可是不是我預期。首先我是訂了2間高級超大床房間，但其中一間嘅浴室有一條大柱，令到空間不大。再者裝修已舊，浴室敞木門還會持續發出聲音，令人困擾。值得一贊是房內清潔很好，服務員蘇秀俊姨姨笑容非常親切，態度非常好。

Service is excellent. Staff have done a great job keeping the room clean as well as promptly responding to my other service calls. Location is very convenient. Desk area is bright and spacious, great for working on a business trip. Hotel shows sign of aging though. Bedroom layout is a bit awkward. I would suggest replacing carpet with engineered wood floor for the next renovation, which can make a big difference given there are not many luxury hotels in Zhongguancun area.

We stayed here for 12 nights. This place was clean, quiet and safe. All the staffs we met were very nice. It's walking distance to several nice local restaurants. A 15 minute walk to subway station that could take you anywhere in Beijing.

Perfect place to stay for visiting PKU, a 10 minute taxi ride away. Breakfasts are wonderful and not to be missed, rooms clean and comfortable, nice toiletries, and staff speak English and are incredibly nice, helpful, and professional. 10/10!

For the past dozen years, whenever I go to Beijing, I stay at this hotel. Over the years, I have watched it evolve into a very good hotel. However, it is still not perfect. For example, in the winters, the rooms are so hot, even with the windows open and the AC turned off. This is not just a one time thing. It has almost always been this way. On my most recent stay, while I was in the room, someone tried to enter. I opened the door and he looked like a maintenance man. I asked him what he wanted and he said sorry and walked away. So, that was odd. As for the breakfasts, the offerings are much more modest than what they used to be, but it is still good. Checkout is way faster now. There was no room service menu in the room, and so I am wondering if that is no longer available. The gym is way better than before. For restaurants, you half to walk about one kilometer to the west and cross Zhongguancun Dajie to hit upon some choices, but in this particular area of Haidian, this hotel is the most convenient.
