We had a great stay, all the staff were very polite and attentive, answered all our questions about the area and also very informative about the food and wines they were serving, we were very pleasantly with the service the location and the condition of the hotel, unfortunately we were not there long enough to sample the spa but did get a tour from the young lady at the spas reception who explained everything. A wonderful experience cant fault it.

Staff at the hotel were great. We stayed 2 nights and it was very hot. Unfortunately the air con can’t cool the old building when it is this hot. So room was quite warm. Staff provided fans. Also jacuzzi pool is not complementary. Lovely old building though, easy to find etc.

The property was lovely and great location. Staff were exemplary. Two areas for improvement - the wifi connection was inconsistent and not easy to connect to. Also we believed there was an outdoor pool based on the website description and were disappointed to learn it was only for the suite.

Det är få ord som egentligen behövs. Underbart, vackert och ljuvligt! Mannen som körde oss från parkeringen var så hjälpsam och berättade om hotellet och Matera. Receptionen var också oerhört vänliga och hjälpsamma. När vi fick rummet 210 med egen liten pool ville vi inte lämna rummet för att se Matera. Ett rum så vackert och med ett lugn och en utsikt som var magisk. Tack för en toppenupplevelse med som vi aldrig kommer glömma. Tack till restaurangen som vi njöt en middag på. Underbara smaker!

The property is amazing and some of the staff are first class professionals, keen to look after you. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience when a personal possession went missing from a bag in my room. So far the hotel has failed to retrieve my item or work out who had access to the room to take it.

Very nice hotel, but unfortunately it was affected by a theft in the room. The electronic safe was opened during our absence and money was stolen. No cameras are installed in the hotel except for 1 at the reception
