Regency Inn & Suites - Saint Augustine

Kinda clean, floors were swept but sure turned my white socks filthy. I would say average older motel.

Mattress is very hard and caused my entire body to hurt, as well as my teenage athlete’s body! No breakfast. Dresser had obvious water damage as the outer edge of doors were warped. Doorways are rusted. The hotel was quiet when we stayed. No suspicious activity. Next door to Circle K and Salt Life restaurant. You can walk across the street to the beach. The hotel needs a make over, updated mattresses, and breakfast. But I did not see or smell mold nor did I see bugs.

No breakfast but he room were ok

This was a simple stay for heading over to the beach and photographing the Alligator Ranch. This is a basic type of room you'd find in a hotel - nothing fancy but everything worked well, comfy bed and really hot water and convenient. The staff were as kind and helpful as they come and I have to say you don't always see this anymore. I like loading in from the ground floor and getting right into a car - love this convenience.

When we walked into the room we noticed the floors felt sticky. We used the hotel towels to wiped them down and they were filthy. There were dead bugs on the floor, dents in the door, outlets were painted over and there was no breakfast provided, even though it was listed as an amnesty. Hotels.com charged us ~$140 a night but the hotels website listed it at $58. This would have been about what I expected from a $58 room. The front desk staff was nice but the hotel itself was run down and in horrible condition. They also provided no maid service on weekends so we had to get more towels ourselves.
