We chose this hotel as it was convenient for visiting a family member who lives round the corner, otherwise we would have booked elsewhere. The bedding in the room was clean but old and the pillows were really lumpy. Communal areas were not very clean and the lift was out of action for most of our stay. Staff were ok, typical Berlin grumpiness but we're used to that. I wouldnt recommend this hotel and wouldn't stay here again. You get what you pay for I supppse!

Das Hotelzimmer ist dem Preis nicht angemessen,die Einrichtung ist uralt und das Zimmer war auch schmutzig. Die Bewertungen anderer Gäste war nicht objektiv. Auch die Hoteleingangstür war zerschlagen, " gutes Aushängeschild " Wir kommen nicht wieder !!!!

The hotel room was very beautiful and functional as well. Great options for mobile devices in the room. All different light switches/options were very nice and handy. Two smalll details: we weren't able to fully close the curtains though :( and the floor wasn't clean under the beds

Es war leider sehr dreckig. Spiegel nicht geputzt, Haare überall im Bett. Brandlöcher in der Decke und auf dem Teppich. Gut war die Küchenzeile.

In der Umgebung des Hotels spielt sich das kriminelle Nachtleben (Junkies, Dealer, sichtbar ab 22 Uhr) ab. Dementsprechend sieht die Eingangsfront (eingeschmissene und notdürftig reparierte Glasscheibe und Tür)aus. Auf die Frage an die nicht deutschsprachige Rezeption, wie oft Autos, die vor dem Hotel parken, beschädigt werden, bekommt man die beruhigende Antwort, nicht öfter als alle 4 Monate, aber dann gleich richtig. Das erste Zimmer 213 über Zwischentreppenhaus erreichbar, welches im blanken Estrich daherkommt, und Sanierungsgerüche (Kloake; Schwefel) verströmt, war unbewohnbar aufgrund eines beißenden Geruchs, als ob mit vanillearomatisiertem Desinfektionsmittel überdeckt werden sollte, dass in dem Zimmer eine Kolonie Ratten verendete, nachdem diese sich erbrochen hat, und nicht gleich gefunden wurde. Nach Zimmerwechsel (314) war der Geruch besser, aber das Licht im Bad funktionierte nicht. Das abgebildete Zimmer entspricht in keinster Weise, dem Standard, den man vorfindet, zumindest nicht in den beiden genannten Zimmern.

Die Unterkunft war von außen eher unscheinbar, von innen aber schön modern eingerichtet. Man findet das Hotel super einfach vom Bahnhof aus. Das Zimmer war groß, hatte mehrere Spiegel, große Balkontüren ein schönes modernes Bad, einen Safe, einen Tisch, mehrere Stühle und sogar eine kleine Küchenzeile. Von den anderen Gästen hat man tatsächlich nichts im Zimmer gehört, da man aber sehr im Zentrum ist, ist es unfassbar laut von draußen - selbst mit geschlossenen Fenstern. Besonders haben uns die verschiedenen Lichter, welche in die Wände/Möbel integriert sind und die Wireless Ladestationen gefallen. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt bezieht sich auf die Dusche. Zum einen gab es eine Regendusche und Handbrause, wovon jedoch leider nur letztere funktioniert hat. Zum anderen war der Duschvorhang nicht sauber und hat nur bedingt das Bad trocken gehalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Check-In und Checkout erfolgte diskret und schnell. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein - mein persönliches Highlight war der Pancake Automat! Wir waren für ein Konzert hier und die Uber Arena und Uber Eats Music Hall sind 10-15min zu Fuß entfernt. Der Bahnhof Warschauer Straße ebenfalls nur knapp 5min mit sehr guter Anbindung Richtung Hauptbahnhof. Gerade für solche Kurztrips können wir das Hotel Klassik nur empfehlen und kommen gern wieder!

Basics are ok. Bed, bathroom work. Reason for 2 stars: - 15 - 20 min wait to check in. Had to give details we already gave online - very rude staff - cleaning was bad and only happened when I asked for it - wifi did not work - in the evening I asked if I could borrow a spoon. They helped me kindly. This is the reason I give 2 and not 1 star. Summing up: choose another place if available. If you go anyway lower your expectations.

I took them 3 days to take action about the air conditioner not working. Those days Berlin was at 30-32 degrees celsius (86-90 farenheit). I was frowned upon when asking a room change, they finally did. They don't care about the guest.

We liked the Klassic. Our room had a funny noise and my husband thought it came from the air vent. We didn’t think we could sleep through it. Hubby talked to the front desk and they switched us to a better room. Very nice rooms and front desk staff was great! We would stay there again.

The street noise, sirens and alarms were very loud, even though all the windows were tightly closed. I also really didn't like that during breakfast one of the staff asked me twice what my room number was, and then another of his colleagues asked a third time. In addition, the pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. It's good that I lived alone in the double room, so I used the second pillow. The breakfast was delicious, the choice was sufficient.

Air conditioning was broken. Was advised could not be fixed until Monday and it was Friday, at time of stay. Reception told us that they would give us a fan. Which they did not and we had to follow up. Was later received. But the room was still very hot. Then also realised that the fridge did not work, when we took our drinks out. Good location but, bad amenities.

Rummet var jättebra och personalen supertrevlig. Frukosten var inte så bra, men verkade som att de inte brukar ha så mycket frukostgäster så antagligen därför. Men personalen gjorde vad de kunde och överlag var det en helt ok upplevelse.

Man konzentriert sich bei Bewertungen oft auf die schlechten Dinge! Deswegen möchte ich mich auf die guten berufen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und egal welche wünsche wir hatten, es wurde super auf uns eingegangen- für mich ein Grund auf jeden fall zurückzukommen und nochmals zu Buchen. Schöne Zimmer bekommt man überall- aber guten Service leider nicht! Die Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung man hat ein Bett und ein ordentliches Badezimmer- die alten Klassik Zimmer haben ihren charm und sich wirklich sehr warm von der Atmosphäre- für mich ein riesen Plus- die werden wohl demnächst leider Kernsatniert! Also wer noch den Klassik Chram möchte am besten gleich hinfahren 😊 Wir waren froh über das Frühstück. Demnächst soll es da zukünftig wohl auch upgrades geben. Man konzentriert sich bei Bewertungen oft auf die schlechten Dinge! Deswegen möchte ich mich auf die guten berufen. Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und egal welche wünsche wir hatten, es wurde super auf uns eingegangen- für mich ein Grund auf jeden fall zurückzukommen und nochmals zu Buchen. Schöne Zimmer bekommt man überall- aber guten Service leider nicht! Die Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung man hat ein Bett und ein ordentliches Badezimmer- die alten Klassik Zimmer haben ihren charm und sich wirklich sehr warm von der Atmosphäre- für mich ein riesen Plus- die werden wohl demnächst leider Kernsatniert! Also wer noch den Klassik Chram möchte am besten gleich hinfahren 😊 Wir waren froh über das Frühstück. Demnächst soll es da zukünftig wohl auch upgrades geben. I took them 3 days to take action about the air conditioner not working. Those days Berlin was at 30-32 degrees celsius (86-90 farenheit). I was frowned upon when asking a room change, they finally did. They don't care about the guest.

When we arrived they managed to give us the keys to the wrong room, so we entered someone else room. This is one of those things that should never ever happen. We had to reprogram the keys two times in four days, not a biggie, but annoying. The cleaning staff opened the door at 9am twice, without knocking, so I'm not sure if there was something wrong with the schedule. Told them after the first time, but it happened the day after again. The room was really nice, the hotel is very nicely placed close to the Warschauer Strasse station which is a great hub in to the city, and a lot of nice things in the area.

Basics are ok. Bed, bathroom work. Reason for 2 stars: - 15 - 20 min wait to check in. Had to give details we already gave online - very rude staff - cleaning was bad and only happened when I asked for it - wifi did not work - in the evening I asked if I could borrow a spoon. They helped me kindly. This is the reason I give 2 and not 1 star. Summing up: choose another place if available. If you go anyway lower your expectations.

We liked the Klassic. Our room had a funny noise and my husband thought it came from the air vent. We didn’t think we could sleep through it. Hubby talked to the front desk and they switched us to a better room. Very nice rooms and front desk staff was great! We would stay there again.

The street noise, sirens and alarms were very loud, even though all the windows were tightly closed. I also really didn't like that during breakfast one of the staff asked me twice what my room number was, and then another of his colleagues asked a third time. In addition, the pillows are very cheap and uncomfortable. It's good that I lived alone in the double room, so I used the second pillow. The breakfast was delicious, the choice was sufficient.

Die Unterkunft war von außen eher unscheinbar, von innen aber schön modern eingerichtet. Man findet das Hotel super einfach vom Bahnhof aus. Das Zimmer war groß, hatte mehrere Spiegel, große Balkontüren ein schönes modernes Bad, einen Safe, einen Tisch, mehrere Stühle und sogar eine kleine Küchenzeile. Von den anderen Gästen hat man tatsächlich nichts im Zimmer gehört, da man aber sehr im Zentrum ist, ist es unfassbar laut von draußen - selbst mit geschlossenen Fenstern. Besonders haben uns die verschiedenen Lichter, welche in die Wände/Möbel integriert sind und die Wireless Ladestationen gefallen. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt bezieht sich auf die Dusche. Zum einen gab es eine Regendusche und Handbrause, wovon jedoch leider nur letztere funktioniert hat. Zum anderen war der Duschvorhang nicht sauber und hat nur bedingt das Bad trocken gehalten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Check-In und Checkout erfolgte diskret und schnell. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein - mein persönliches Highlight war der Pancake Automat! Wir waren für ein Konzert hier und die Uber Arena und Uber Eats Music Hall sind 10-15min zu Fuß entfernt. Rummet var jättebra och personalen supertrevlig. Frukosten var inte så bra, men verkade som att de inte brukar ha så mycket frukostgäster så antagligen därför. Men personalen gjorde vad de kunde och överlag var det en helt ok upplevelse.

Location was very good, but the hotel was very old and very very dirty!! The carpets were full of dust, the curtains were not in place and just hanging, the towels had holes in it, and when we asked staff to tell housekeeping to vacuum and fix they curtain, nothing was done. The room was so dark and dusty!

Great location. Right next to RAW and Boxhagener Platz. Hotel is in good shape. Some renovations are being done and the hotel looks modern and is clean. Beds are comfortable but pillows are terrible.

This is the second that we have stayed at The Klassik. I love the new upgrades to the rooms and the addition of air conditioning, However, there were things that were unfinished. Some rooms were more complete than others. The one BIG ISSUE is there needs to be better WIFI. It was very weak and none of our phones could stay connected to it.
