The building is undergoing renovations so it might be best to wait until after renovation to visit. The pool was closed even though it did not appear to be affected by the remodeling. The A/C unit in my room was new but even though it was set at 70 degrees the actual temperature kept rising to 74 then 76 which was uncomfortable. If I tried turning it down the read-out said to contact the front desk, but the person at the front desk had no idea what that meant. I was given another room which was at least able to keep the temp at 72. Seems like there is something wrong with the A/C controllers in each room. I selected the hotel because it shows an airport shuttle and on the Hotels.com website it indicates a shuttle is available but this is not the case, they have not offered a shuttle in years I was told and it was expensive to get a ride to the hotel.

Loved the pool. It was so relaxing there. Disappointed that the washer was out of order although they did find another off the property. Rooms were very nice. Felt the front lobby looked tired. Maybe ready for a update The bus downtown was a huge bonus.

The hotel was "undergoing renovations," which I heard every time I told the front desk that something wasn't working. Only 1 piece of 4 in the fitness rooms works, and there wasn't anything else in there other than a couple of exercise balls. Breakfast wasn't very good, coffeemaker in the room didn't work, ran out of soap in the shower because it wasn't checked, only one elevator was operational, pool was closed, etc., etc., etc. It was way overpriced to not have better facilities. Location is good if you're going to the Grand Ole Opry but not if you're going downtown. Don't stay here if you're looking for a good value for your money or even if you're looking for a decent hotel, because this one is not.

The hotel was under renovations. Took over 1/2 hour to check in. Room was nice but was missing chairs for the desk. Would of been nice to have more comfortable chair to sit in

Ashish at the front desk was awesome and he checked in with us a few times just to make sure everything was good. Parking was a bit of an issue because of the construction equipment and storage on site but we were able park on the property. We just had to improvise. I work in construction so I was very impressed that the construction activity didn’t seem to intrude on the guests experience.

Hampton Inn has become a mainstay for my family when traveling. Our stay at Hampton Inn & Suites @ Opryland was good overall. The grounds were well kept. Staff was friendly. The hotel was undergoing remodeling but was not a disruption. The room had been recently remodeled and was very nice. However, there was no vent in the bathroom to move air, and as a result the air was thick One of the outlets on the nightstand did not work. The floor in the breakfast area was very sticky at 7:30 in the morning. The parking lot could use a little more lighting.

Shower had black mold in corner due to lack of cleanliness. Shampoo dispenser was empty, shower gel dispenser pump was broken. Staff let coffee run out and did not keep breakfast foods stocked. 2 staff finally came out of staff room together, looked like they just woke up, and hurriedly started restocking items while mumbling things. Definitely did not exhibit any desire to please customers. Only good thing about the hotel was location being close to opry mills and grand ole opry. Worst Hampton I have ever stayed in. Definitely does not meet Hampton quality.

Upon checking in the front desk person was nice and helpful. I was given a first floor room. I really don't like 1st floor and asked if something else was available. Nothing available but he would clean a room someone checkex out of early. I really appreciated it but turned it down. Upon entering the room we were hit with a strong mold smell. Turned the ac up and ordered dinner. My daughter went to take a shower and there were 2 used wash clothes in the shower. Upon futher scrutiny there were lipstick smudges on the door. A hair roller under the sink. And layers of dust in the corners of the room.

Breakfast was amazing. Lots of places to walk to eat and shop. Nice and close to drive to the Opry. Close enough to downtown to not be loud. Rooms, hallway, lobby all pristine. Staff were all extremely nice. There is construction going on but other than on the first floor at the elevator and looking down one hall you would never notice.

Room and hotel was newly renovated, even had the new carpet smell still. I reserved two queen beds, but they seemed like full size. The kids slept well, my husband and I didn't and woke up sore from the bed. Everything else in the room was new and spacious. The breakfast was good, had real smoked sausage and potatoes. Pleasant surprise from the regular hotel breakfast. Nicest hotel we have stayed in by far. Only downside was the bed.

The bed was terrible. The sheet did not fit on the bed. The bed was so worn out it felt like i was sleeping on cardboard. The bed had a huge rip in the side. It was awful.

rooms were very clean. housekeeping does a great job. a/c temperatures kept going up when we left the room. tv’s were outdated. they should definitely upgrade to smart tv’s. no filtered water and $4 for a bottle of water. looks like construction is going on but not active which is good for sound and disruption but makes the facility indoor and outdoor look messy and unkept. low pet fee of $50 and very pet friendly in terms of workers and people staying but no pet friendliness in terms of amenities except for bags at the back of the hotel by all the construction trash and debris. they should make sure it’s clearly stated they are under construction before you book.

The hotel is undergoing renovation. We were first given a room on the first floor that was not renovated, it was horrible. The bathroom faucet continually leaked, the door on the closet would not shut, one of the wall lights attached by the bed was so droopy that it had pulled away from the wall. We walked out of that room and asked to be placed elsewhere. They gave us a room on the 4th floor that had been renovated. What a difference!!! I could not believe that they put us the dungeon room when they had a room that had been updated with very nice features and amenities. I wish I had taken photos of the first room, it was ghastly.

Especially appreciate Lee and Kimberly. Called hotel a couple of times and he was always very courteous and helpful. And he was the same when we checked in. Kimberly took several pictures for us by the Christmas tree and was very happy to do it. Best part of the stay was the staff. Great staff

Made reservation on line. Walked in front door and saw sign about construction. Lady behind desk looked bored. Asked my name, told me to put in credit card for incidentals. Did not ask for ID. I reminded her we had dog and would like a ground floor room; she gave me bored look and gave me key for third floor. Did not mention construction. Did not mention tv control did not have Guide. Did not mention limited lights nor that thermostat did not work and AC controls were useless. There was more but enough.

We stopped here on a cross country move and we’re so happy we did. The hotel is right off the highway and nearby a ton of restaurants and things to do, but you wouldn’t know when you’re actually in your room because of how quiet it was. We parked our U-Haul with a trailer attached behind the building and didn’t have any issues with safety or anything like that. Both people at the front desk we interacted with were both very, very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to socialize. There were also quite a few options for breakfast, like the typical hot foods that rotate, waffle makers with special flavors (I had red velvet), baked goods, cereals, different flavors of coffee and creamers, etc. and it all tasted good. Overall, a very pleasant, easy experience and if we ever come back to Nashville, I’d likely stay in the exact same hotel.

Hotel was clean and priveded a tasty hot complimentary breakfast. The concierge is extremely knowledgeable about Nashville. The round trip shuttle service to downtown was less expensive than Uber or Parking. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Nashville.

I've stayed here before and had a better experience. Some of the staff/facilities are falling short. The breakfast staff was just miserable, and super slow, there are 2 waffle machines, 1 wasn't working and there was a half cooked waffle just left in it. There were two waffle flavors, 1 was empty by 8:30am on a Saturday. Breakfast potatoes were also empty around that same time (breakfast is supposed to be until 10am). I had called to confirm the pool being opened for the Memorial Day weekend, was told it would be opened on Friday 24th, it was not opened and front desk was clueless in regards to why or when at that point.

It was a nice place but friendliness of staff was below par. The breakfast needed to be refilled because the food items were picked over 1/2 hour before it was to end. We were there and watched the staff come in at the end when our breakfast was over and they then fed themselves.

Comfortable, soft pillows but mattress semi firm. Staff was great! Only Kitchen staff was slow on Breakfast refills and it’s the worst coffee in 30years. I drink my coffee weak and theirs is like dirty water. Decent location to Grand Ole Opry and good shuttle to downtown but nothing to the airport.
