We were driving the Great Ocean Rd and stopped overnight at Casa Favilla. We were met by the owner who lived on the upper level. Given the smallest room at back with a walkout to the porch. The room was cold and the heater was not working so he brought in an oil heater. As the room was at the back, wifi was scattered. We have been on a month trip around Australia. We had difficulty fitting our suitcases in the room. Bathroom was small but the heater inside was great. Breakfast was basically help yourself to coffee, tea, juice,bread and jam, cereal, milk and yoghurt in the fridge. Not quite what we expected. Parking requires a bit of juggling on the driveway as 2 other couples were staying.House was close to the town about 200m to the water.

Big guest shared kitchen and lounge. All you want in the bedroom ensuite. All breakfast items supplied. Big choice We like boiled eggs for breakfast so bought our own but could not boil as there is no stove. Only thing missing but thats not common in BnB’s anyway

Jared was very friendly, had a lot to say and you could ask him anything. Parking was a bit cramped and awkward, the main room/kitchen was really cold but thankfully had independent heat in the room. The port and chocolate was a nice touch but please invest in a new toaster! Great place to stay

Boutique style B&B. We had a lovely room & bathroom, as well as balcony. Also had a view to beach! Plus access to a kitchen for breakfast and huge lounge/dining area for guests. Walk to beach, town centre- restaurants/shopping. Thanks for a lovely relaxing stay!

This is a beautiful home and small bed and breakfast. Our room was large, luxurious and extremely clean with a huge ensuite. The shared living room was elegant, large and comfortable. Apollo Bay is a wonderful town on the Great Ocean Road with all amenities. We highly recommend this accommodation.

The whole building is beautiful and very clean, friendly host. Only issue the noise upstairs from the owners was a little loud at times. In saying this, it is an ussue with alot of accomodation sites where the owners or operators live in the same building..

Owner was friendly and accommodating. Great location and cleanliness of room and house. Breakfast options were okay- continental type breakfast you make on your own. Good fresh fruit options. Not so good was the condition of the bed and the pillows. Need new mattress and new pillows. Both were lumpy and we didn't sleep well.

Nice place in a nice town. Just one night as we were passing thru. Owner is very nice and personable. Only complaint is that we could hear a lot of rustling about coming from above and from other guests.

Room was ok, but there is plenty to improve. It is called a B&B but it was just Continental style with no other sandwich choices then marmelade and peanut butter. Other option was milk and cereal. Plenty of juice options though. Also no coffeemaker, only instant. The owner was very nice but too chatty on arrival. Did not see him in the morning.

Gerard is a super friendly and welcoming host. The B&B is very conveniently located only a 5 min walk away from the main shopping street. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a very well stocked kitchen with a plethora of continental breakfast options. Parking on the property / just off the sidewalk was a breeze. We would certainly stay here again! The over all stay was enjoyable. The price was reasonable. Wasnt over excited about a self service breakfast consisting of cereals, breads, jams, yogurt and fruit. Very basic. Would have liked cheeses, hams, eggs and a coffee machine.
