Very quiet and relaxing. A bit isolated. Need a car. Well kept grounds and facilities.

Lovely quiet spot for a holiday getaway. Loved the free use of the gym and tennis courts as well!

Fabulous pool area, clean rooms, great gym and the staff are amazing. We will definitely be back.

Underground parking a little bit tight. vehicles have got bigger and the parking area can't be changed. Suppose it is what it is.

Everyone was friendly and the room was perfect. Everything was clean and the pool and facilities were really good. Great value for money and would recommend a vist and stay.

Was so disappointed to have 1 night only, a saturday night, and the only reason we stayed was due to the sports bar and pool table however it was closed for a private function!!! The property is out of the way so its not like you can do anything else around. Who closes the bar on a sat night when they should put a function in say, i dont know, a function room. Leaving all hotel guests with something to do would have been nice.

Decor in room is dated. Eg needed a larger tv, bed uncomfortable, mould and damp smell in bathroom. Sports Bar only open Fridays. Not enough variety in dining options - either Thai or pizza. But the accommodation price was quite reasonable.

The hotel features good amenities such as main pool, heated plunge pool and a gym. Lovely outlook over the golf course and short drive to local beaches and shops. Front side of building doesn't get much sunlight, due to position.

It was filthy. dusty, mouldy. Disgusting old, saggy beds. Bathroom like a sauna as fan made noise but didnt work. fridge unclean. No service to room, we were there 3days. Dirty cutlery. which was dependant on previous people to clean. Drain in shower slow to drain.. No chef in restaurant, children cooked breakfast. i lobby empty glasses sat for hours.

Room is shabby old and needs attention , room was dirty walls dirty , shower head filthy and lamps covered in dust , I’d avoid the place if your thinking resort very disappointing much nicer places in Caloundra.

We loved the resort. However did not have our room cleaned once over the 4 days by house keeping and no fresh towelling daily. There was no coffer mugs only paper cups and cheap coffer and tea selection. Toilet paper was placed upside down on the toilet roll holder and the grout in the bathroom was dirty on the floor and in the shower. The restaurant and reception staff were amazing and provided excellent food and service. We had an amazing experience and there was so many activities provided we would love to stay at Pelican Waters Again in the future.

My stay was lovely, the property is clean and well presented. My room was very comfortable, welcoming and a lovely room to stay in. I would definitely stay again.

Mostly, things were okay. Had a couple of problems with damp carpet and noisy guests.

The entrance to this resort is misleading! It’s very grandiose but unfortunately the rooms are old and in need of an update. The fridge is so old it froze all our food no matter what setting it was on, even the 4 as they suggested. The AC dial, yes dial on a wall, is so old it’s unmanageable. We had 2 stained mattress protectors & a blood stained doona. The bathroom sliding door kept getting stuck. There were cobwebs & an offensive moldy smell under the kitchen sink! The restaurant was very average, we had one meal and didn’t go back. If it wasn’t for Julie in housekeeping being so prompt with replacing our bed linen, we would have given this place 1 star. We won’t be returning.

I asked for the room to tidy and cled with fresh towels on Saturday 4 October but the room wasn't done.

Nothing was pleasant at this property. Staff at reception were rude & unfriendly from the start. Our room (No.0228) was very unpleasant - dirty, badly maintained, the side balcony door was unsafe as it locked you out if you didn't wedge it open, it also had no blind to block street night lights so room was always bright & draughty.The bed was ancient & uncomfortable. Bathroom door was 50mm/2" to short, microwave was disgusting, window gullies were caked in grime, partition doors to bedroom were broken & also caked in grime. The hallway to our room burst a pipe which we reported so the carpet was soggy & slippery to walk on while there. We asked to change rooms after the first night & was told there were no other rooms until 2 days time & if we did we would have to pay $70 to have ours cleaned, taking in mind we had done a lot of the cleaning. Some areas are under construction & some under demolition. The hotel is used for these workers - dirty boots & clothing. The restaurant staff were continuously understaffed & run off their feet having to stand in for reception staff as well during evening hours, rushing back & forth to check people in & serve meals & run the bar. Those staff were gems. The regular reception staff were lazy & uninterested. Photos & review already posted on hotel site. Avoid this place!

We had a great time during our stay at Pelican Waters Resort. The room was big and had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. We also loved the underground gated parking. It was safe and made things very easy, especially when carrying bags. The only small problem was the bathroom sink. It was a bit too shallow, which made it a little awkward to use. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. We’d recommend this place to anyone!

Aircon at night very noisey . We have stayed 3 times before in different rooms and no problem. But this time didn’t get much sleep I must say it was a lovely position

Older property but clean and quiet. Having the in room washer/dryer and kitchenette was outstanding.

Terrible bathrooms that have no doors and flood. Room looked nothing like the pictures and no towels available

Our room had a great view of the pool & golf course. Room was very clean but some of the furniture could do with updating.

Excellent value apartment with balcony overlooking golf course and pool.The room had a kitchen ,air con ,foxtel tv,spa bath and laundry. Would stay here again.

Felicity on reception made our stay. I was travelling with my child and unfortunately our room was next door to an extremely loud group of guys. When I asked to move rooms, she quickly managed the situation and got us moved into a different room. I was sleep-deprived and because of her, my daughter and I both slept extremely well. Thank you so much Felicity! You are a huge asset to Pelican Waters Resort.

Staff were atrocious

The lady at the front counter that checked me in absolutely hates her job with a passion , the place was clean , car park was a but weird had birds flying around everywere lucky the car was a rental. My neighbours kept me up all night drinking and loud music , there is no one at the reception desk so dont even bother with that your on your own if you need to talk to anyone its pointless. I just cant beleive people can be so rude , i walked in from the longest drive from penrith to be greeted by the lady there she just looked at me , not can i help you nothing .. i say hey how ya going im here to check in still nothing come out of her mouth , then she says ID , no hello no anything .. i handed her my licence she checked me in. I said thisbis a beautiful place here , still no word from here. She says to me whats your licence plate number , i said i dont know its a rental ill go out and check she says it should be on your key ring , i couldnt read it on the key ring was smudged .. i said can you read that she says easy 146 qbt what ever it was , i said ok i cant read that .. she hands me the keys says level 4 and hands me 2 cookies . Cookies tasted like crap . Anyways i get down to my car was the wrong number plate but im not gunna say anything she had a massive chip on her shoulder . Glad to be at home to be honest worst experience ive ever had at a place . Only good thing is place was clean

Reception closes very early. Sports Bar only open on Fridays and then closes at 8pm Restaurant/bar closes at 8pm Rooms clean only every 3 days.

Second stay here and it rained all 3 days...again. But the hotel is very nice, clean and good facilities. Staff friendly and helpful although not on duty 24hrs. Sadly there's no arrangement with the adjoining golf course and it's over $120 a round, depending on the day. Probably the last time we'll be here, even though pricing for longer stays is good, it's just a bit too far out and golf price is over the top.

It was a lovely environment with lots of amenities. We loved staying here and plan on coming back. The only downside is that it’s not as close to beaches and shops.

Good value place to stay for a work trip to the Sunshine Coast. Very reasonable price for rooms thru the week, much higher on weekends. Has a restaurant/bar with room service on-site which is convenient. As it's a 5min drive back to shops & pub at Pelican Waters. Loved the outlook from room over golf course & pool area.

Lovely space. But a bit tired and lived in. A little bit of a drive from Caloundra town centre. But nice place.

We really enjoyed our week here. The room was great, plenty of room. Very comfortable & loved the pools. Friendly & helpful staff. Only problem that it’s a long way to the beaches

Great place to stay. A bit out of the way. Not close to shops or beach or other places to eat. so will need a car. Outlook over the golf course is lovely. Very quiet

We liked the quiteness of the venue. Would have preferred more dining choices than pizza for evening meal. Mattress in unit 301 needs updating.

Pizza only does not cut it for a 4 star plus venue

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable but the capacity to eat was very limited, this we found to bring down our overall assessment of the venue. We will definitely consider staying here again as the accommodation was very good and clean. It is a bit far from businesses for shopping but that can be an advantage as well. Better promotion of the facilities would be an improvement by having a more informative presentation in each room of all facilities.

The food options were terrible. We were there for a conference and they never had enough food. We had to find alternative venues. Needs a good reno

Fantastic value for money. The pool and surrounds relaxing. Restaurant Thai meal exceptional Quality large fluffy bathroom towels topped it off !!

The Thai Food in the restaurant was very nice, but the choice of only Thai and pizza was a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast options were good.

We were celebrating my wife’s birthday with another couple and it was the first time we had stayed here and rooms were a good size, staff were friendly and service was great. Restaurant food was excellent. We would definitely come back again
