We were not alerted prior to arrival that the hotel was being remodeled. According to the desk our room was “finished” although it did not appear to be so. The elevator was covered in construction padding and the lobby, breakfast room and al general areas were obviously still be done.

The hotel was fine and the breakfast was good. I was disappointed that the pool was not open and there was no mention of that when I booked it. My son was looking forward to it and the price of the room was the same. That seems like false advertisement.

Looks new. Very clean. Pool not open. Small irritating deficiencies. No towel rails. No shower mat for bathroom floor, which is slippy when wet. One bed was too close to the AC unit (so there was a breeze when the unit switched on, and getting in or out of bed was difficult). Only one almost empty box of tissues. Breakfast was mediocre. Just not great value.

Checking in took about 25 minutes. Only one person attending and it was a busy weekend as we were there for the summer games of the special Olympics at ISU. Every hotel was packed in town so they should have been fully staffed. The only other minor thing was the sofa bed. It had no linens or blankets and when we called down to the front desk we were told if we wanted linens and sheets for the sofa bed, they were on call and we have to come down and get them ourselves. Other than that the stay was great. Oh and the pool was not filled with water. Not sure if that was because they're working on it but it was a hot summer weekend. The property was nice and clean but there was some construction being done to the main floor of the hotel. I would stay again though. For sure.

The staff were SO nice. The gym equipment is pretty run down and squeaky, and there isn’t much of it. There were no cups or towels in the fitness area either. The rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms have been updated.

Bathroom was remodeled and clean. Rest of the room was dark, dingy, dirty, lamp shade wasnt able to sit right on stand. Beds were uncomfortable and we were right by the back door so it waa noisy. For the amount of money we had to pay it was terrible. We paid over 150$ we did book last minute and probably got the worst room.

Very nice facility, but there is no place to put the soap, shampoo and conditioner in the handicap shower. Had to put it on the floor outside the shower which was hard to reach for those of us with disabilities.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was excellent. The TV too big to be right in front of the bed and the shower is beautiful but has NO handles or soap shelf for safety and convenience! Staff was very nice and breakfast was good.

Super quiet property. Very clean. Staff were so helpful. No hair dryer in the room and front desk clerk brought one right up. Breakfast was nice and attendant was friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

check in lady rude and dismissive, could have cared less about my concerns about the pool times when asked and asked about the pool being outside, not inside, should have looked online she said, poor customer skills to say the least. kept asking for my credit card card to plug for incidentals for 50 dollars if needed in advance between my questions i wanted addressed, terrible, place was nice and clean, decent room, over priced for pool outside not inside and lack of hours to keep it opened, closed @ 9 pm and arrived 845, of course lady was short, you got about 10 minutes, nice. compared to full service hotels we stayed at before i feel a bit over bit over priced. not happy

The Good first - The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was great. Now the negative - when we arrived we waited 5 minutes at the front desk and rang the bell a few times before someone arrived to check us in. Our room smelled like smoke and there was not bedding on the pull out bed and no sheets to make the bed.

We stayed at the Bloomington IL Comfort Suites on our way home and was pleasantly surprised on the accommodations. The room was clean, well appointed, and quite comfortable. It hit all our boxes and the price was definitely right. But the most impressive part of the trip was 3 hours after we left, I got a message that my husband had left our dirty laundry bag in the bathroom and Cristos (sorry if incorrect spelling) went above and beyond to help us get it returned to us. Not many hotels would even contact us if we left something behind, let alone help us retrieve our belongings, even if it is just dirty laundry. Comfort Suites has now become my new favorite hotel while traveling and I will go out of my way to check them out first. Thank you Comfort Suites and your team. You made us feel very welcomed and cared for.

We had driven nearly 600 miles upon arrival. The young man at the desk was one of the nicest people you can meet. He answered questions and gave good instructions. Our room was nice, the a/c worked great, and we slept well. Breakfast was appreciated and enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! Thank you for a clean and well managed hotel!

This hotel is a crap hole! Trim missing holes in ceiling in lobby. We walked in and the room next to ours had paper taped over carpet in hallway door was open and looked broke, not sure what happened in that room. We opened our door and the smell hit us and we instantly turned around and left. Also not in a great part of town. We ended up driving a couple more hours and stayed in Davenport. Also do not use booking if there is an issue with the room like ours at least you got a chance of getting your money back from the hotel. Instead we keep getting the back and forth of hotels.com needs to refund you and hotels says the actual hotel need to refund you. Just keep getting the run around.

The room needed nothing - no perfume coverup odor, extra towels and pillows, extra large TV screen, everything clean and like new. The breakfast area was one of the best we have experienced.

Hotel seems like it has recently been renovated and was clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Service at check in was wonderful and very friendly. My only complaint was breakfast was terrible. Very few choices and what was available wasn’t good such as cereal choice was only Raisin Bran or original cheerios, sausage was a bizarre texture, fruit options was oranges that were very hard to peel and apples, juice machine wasn’t working etc)

The hotel is in the process of renovations. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.Staff is friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was good. There were eggs, sausage,biscuits and gravy, as well as the customary waffle maker. Over all, a good value for the price. We will probably stay here again in the near future.
