Enjoyed our time here. Loved being able to use a paddle board but would have like to be informed that it was included in being a hotel guest. The water/coffee station near the front desk was fantastic. Gym was adequate but very warm and water fountain not working well.

This is probably the best bang for your buck. Right on the lake, close to downtown, prepared staff, and an onsite restaurant. While there aren’t a ton of amenities and the pool is a bit small, the restaurant breakfast deal is a steal. The rooms have what you need for your stay but it would be tough with more than two people per room. Overall, a great, clean stay in a relatively quiet hotel.

Great lakeside view and access, about 50 ft off the lake / beach. Attached bar and grill. Had a few cocktails and excellent meal. Outdoor seating for food and drinks while enjoying the views. And fresh air.

I wish the beach would have been cleaned up from seaweed. We were there Sat - Tuesday morning and not once did we see anyone clearing the seaweed. Other guests left garbage on the tables overnight that maybe the same beach "crew" could have cleaned up. We cleaned it up however, would be nice to see that done by the Hotel staff. Other than that, we love this place are returning guests.

This is our second stay here, once in May and again in July! We are a senior couple and are so impressed with this hotel and everything it has to offer, it will always be our first choice when in the area. The lounge has great specials and atmosphere, the restaurant fantastic breakfasts and a full menu... (the chicken wings are great too!) The pool, is the perfect temperature and plenty of seating. Seriously, when you check into this hotel, you need not go anywhere else to eat or be entertained. Its all here! Nice walking trails, and last night I sat on my balcony and watched a storm roll in. The bed is fantastic, the pillows come with Firm and Soft (embroidered on the pillowcases) the air-conditioning easy to control and what can I say- but a mini fridge and microwave too!! The TV was large and plenty of channels. Seriously, look no further. A Fantastic lobby too with coffee and chilled water.. oh yes - 24 hour work out room! Love it!!

We loved having a room right next to the beach. But the beach was filthy. We found no less than 5 pieces of Broken glass. The beach was also packed with pontoons coming in and out. The one spot that was what appeared to be designated for swimmer was covered in weeds. The pool was okay but the hot tub was lukewarm at best. Personally I would have rather stayed at a different hotel and just gone to the city beach that looked sooo much cleaner!

Carpet was not clean and candy wrappers were pushed near the walls . Toilet bowl was not cleaned . Molding around shower was pink and looked like mold starting . We spent 2 nights at the hotel and for $250/night I would expect better accomidations. The room was damp no matter how much air conditioning we had on. Beds were comfortable and it felt overall decently clean for hotel on the water that probably has a lot of people partying. Biggest complaint was the breakfast situatation. They need a buffet or faster option; I don't want to spend 1.5 hour waiting for breakfast. We sat down, it took us 20 minutes to get our order taken, then we waited over an hour to get our food. I counted only10 plates of food being brought out across that 1 hour - everybody was frusterated. My potatos were barely warm and my husbands pancakes were hard and thin. Food was gross. We didn't eat breakfast the second day and spent extra money to eat someplace else because it was such a terrible experiance. We saw others from our hotel eating at another place in town as well. I don't understand why you don't have a faster option for people who are generally not interested in having a 2 hour breakfast.

The property appears to have gotten a cosmetic facelift, and a lot of the quirks still exist. Our room was very cold each night because the door facing the lake leaked air, there was hair in the shower and sink when we arrived, and no trash bag. The restaurant is terrible. Very overpriced and the food just isn't good, which is surprising because the free breakfast they offer to hockey teams is not bad. I would not stay at this hotel unless it was for a hockey tournament and was our only choice (it was).

The bathroom was obviously not cleaned, which is a non starter for me. Lid on toilet was up and you could see ‘spray’ on the toilet if you lift the seat. The cabinet in the bathroom was very thick with dust (where the blow dryer is stored). Hotel is very rundown. Ice maker on floor did not work with no sign.

Was visiting for an event in the area, picked this hotel based on the location. The refrigerator in the room still had food from the last guest that was left. The location of our room was terrible, it over looked an area downstairs and it was extremely loud it our room. We could hear everything including our neighbors alarm at 4am.

We had the misfortune of getting one of the rooms on back of property that overlooks the pool area. Immediately upon entering, the room stunk of chlorine and the noise from the pool area wasn't great. I'm sure if you get a lake side view, the experience would be different. The staff at breakfast were nice, but I have never seen a more disorganized group and it was painful to watch. Luckily we weren't in a hurry, but the restaurant needs improvement. I'd never stay here again.

There were trains going by all night but we were on the street side and the tracks were right across the street. Other than that it was very good The toilet was very low. My husband and are both seniors ,my husband is handicapped, so getting “down” and “getting back” up was difficult.

Room was nice, balcony was nice overlooking the lake. Beds were very hard and beach was noisy as people were parting til early morning. Meals at restaurant was ok, served cold soup forgot to turn on the warmer. It’s a fun spot to watch the lake.$

Older run down hotel. The restaurant here is Not good. In fact, we will be skipping the free breakfast vouchers that we received at check in in favor of purchasing a better breakfast anywhere but here. Also, our room smelled damp and like it had not been aired out in a while. We would not recommend anyone to stay here

It was a nice hotel but the check out was a big hassle. There were 2 errors made in the price of the pet fees and to fix it was difficult as there wasn’t anyone answering phones at the hotel on multiple occasions , also calling from Canada. They didn’t offer any more discounts with their errors.

Other staff when noticing people waiting pinched in to help which was nice. (staff that normally don't work in the restaurant) Good job covering for one another!

Stayed here a few times. On my first stay had to wait over 30 min to check in because the employee had left in the middle of their shift and didn’t tell anyone. I was told they would reduce the bill to make up for this inconvenience and that didn’t happen. The restaurant connected to the hotel is pretty good food but is overpriced. Overall it’s a nice, clean hotel with great access to the beach. Pet friendly and a lovely grass area for pets.

first of all I got a call from the Manger of the hotel and said they where remodeling and that we would not be getting the handicaped rooms because of the remodeling and I told them that I would be having my 93 year old mother with me and we would need at less one room that was for a handicap person and he said he would do his best. Well he failed at that. We got two rooms on the 3rd floor and she had to walk half way down the hall to her room and it was not handicap. Second when I ask about if they had one the said for only one night which I thought was wrong for when I booked the room and talk to the manager I said I need at less one room that was handicap So my experience was not to my liking So we paid you as a third party I will not use you again for if you need a handicap room it should be under stood that it should be that way because that what we paid for. and there very under staffed and also so the girl at the desk was not well trained she walk a way and had to call someone so all in all you LOST a Few Customer!!!!!!!

The only issue I ran into is I reserved a room with two beds but got a king size instead. It was uncomfortable sleeping situation since it was the 3 of us but we made it work. Bed was comfortable

Location on the lake was terrific. We had a view of the lake from our room at a very modest uncharge from a landslide room - and we had a table by the window with a great sunset view downstairs. Considering the age of this hotel it is in very good condition. The menu at the restaurant could be a little broader perhaps.

We were not given the room we requested. The service needs help. The food was not great, my wife had salad bar and she got 1 plate and was charged $17, the breakfast was not good and they took forever to refill the 6 or 7 items they have. The food was not good and was overpriced.
