We didn’t make breakfast any of the mornings so I can’t say. Our only issue was the parking lot - ice in almost every parking spot. We couldn’t use any of the handicap spots as there was ice in all of them. My husband uses a cane so i had to drive around in order to find a spot that he or myself could get out safely. Most spots were not close enough so I had to drop him off at the front door and pick him back up at the front door upon leaving. Other than the ice we were quite happy with our stay.

Free breakfast was good. The parking area is tight. I wished there was a place to sit outside in nice weather. So close to lake with no place to sit. Friendly staff. Id recommend this hotel

The booking was way off and the room was 48 degrees when we walked in tired. Then when we wanted to use the pool, it was closed because of a problem with the lock. Breakfast was good.

The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable. The ladies working the breakfast buffet were so nice. My only negatives are the tiny pool and no hot tub. Otherwise it’s a great place to stay and close to restaurants and the lake.

An very good stay at a beautiful hotel. Fabulous breakfast. Did not use the excercise room because it was 80 degrees in there. Way to hot. Was not comfortable to use the pool as it looked like it was needing some time to recycle and clean.

Stayed for two nights with three rooms for a family attending a wedding. Couldn't find rooms anywhere else. The place is nice and newer by crazy expensive. Friday and Saturday night was $580+ for two night each room. Then they charged me for an extra room that I had to get removed from my card. Very clean place though.

The hotel is next to the lake, and the park across the street had a famous troll that many can stop and take pictures with. We just stayed for a night, but as the street is busy and next to a bar, it got a bit noisy.

My wife has medicine that requires refrigeration. The crappy refrigerator in the room has a built in 2 hour timer. It times out every 2 hours requiring you to push a button to restart it. What a STUPID idea~!

We visited DL to do some Troll hunting and the first Troll was right across the street - very convenient! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were clean. The location is great with Detroit Lake right across the street and restaurants nearby.

The property was excellently located close to the lake, making it easy to go for walks along lakeshore. There were also good restaurants within walking distance. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of lake. Excellent breakfast served each morning. Good experience.
