Candlewood Suites Longview by IHG

We had a wonderful stay. Appreciated the very kind staff (check in was professionally and quickly handled by Brandon) and the clean perfectly appointed room. The little store in the lobby came in handy when my elderly mom suddenly got a craving for rice-a-roni and they had it! Location was close to our family reunion and just a nice place to go "home" to after each day of being with extended family. Will stay here again and definately recommend this hotel.

Bed comfy, space amazing! I won’t stay anywhere else!

We had to get a hotel last minute after an 11 hour drive. The front desk clerk was very polite upon our arrival. We had quite a bit of belongings with us due to us making a military move to the area and the original booking we made elsewhere had mold damage so we had to adjust. We had to stay for almost a week until our home was available for move in. The first night there a strong odor of cigarettes kept flooding our room. The bathroom was where the smell was the strongest. Around the third day there I let the front desk know. The lady I spoke to said she would investigate it. The smell went away for a couple of hours, but then later came back. I noticed that every time the smell was strong the neighboring room had their bathroom fan on. I could hear it. I was certain the people next to us were smoking in their room. The head lady I spoke with the next day acknowledged they were smokers, and I assured me she would handle it. The smell continued and actually got worse. We had to keep our bathroom door shut at all times. My children have severe allergy issues and I just couldn’t take it anymore. We ended up leaving a day early. They offered to change our room, but due to the amount of stuff we Had to unload from our trailer to the room, it was just too much to have to do. I shouldn’t have to change rooms when the hotel is smoke free. The staff was nice, but I won’t stay here again.

Staff were very friendly. Good location.

My stay was average, but there were a few issues that affected my experience. The shower curtain in my room had black mold, and there was a stain on one of the bedsheets. Additionally, the room only had one remote control for both TVs, which was inconvenient. Lastly, the room had an unpleasant odor.
