We stayed for 4 days a group of six. The private beach was fun and beautiful except all of four days we couldn’t find beach chairs available or a place to sit. Same thing with the pools around the property. The resort included 4 pools but again we couldn’t find lounge chairs or place to enjoy a tan or the pools. We inquired about getting extra chairs and the manager said they didn’t have any more. Also, couple of times they run out of beach towels !!!!

La comida es bastante mala. Además de que no hay suficiente aire acondicionado en el restaurante principal. Las personas que preparaban la comida no dejaban de sudar por estar en el fuego de la cocina y sin aire acondicionado. Las filas eran inmensas para pedir comida porque muy pocas cosas son self service y en algunas ocasiones tenían poco personal o poco espacio para cocinar. El hotel se ve viejo y en varios lugares se ve que no tienen mantenimiento. Por ejemplo en nuestro cuarto el techo tenía humedad. El servicio de concierge o recepción bastante malo un chico en particular parecía que era nuevo o simplemente no tenía la habilidad de atención. Tuve que pedir en dos ocasiones me cambiaran las almohadas. Tienes que dar tu número de habitación para que te den toallas y te anotan en una libreta, nos hemos hospedado en otros Dreams y está es la primera vez que lo vemos. Pareciera que tiene. Muchos procesos que entorpecen la experiencia. No me volvería a quedar en Dreams de Huatulco. Mejor quédense en Barceló a mi gusto está mejor e incluso más barato.

This hotel has beautiful grounds with 3 infinity pools. What I enjoyed the most was the adult inky pool area. My least favorite area was the food. The meat was tough and not enough dining options.

En general todo estuvo muy bien, pero tienen unos detalles a mejorar. No hay suficientes palapas con camastros y en la alberca no hay suficientes sombrillas y las que tienen a veces hay que cerrarlas porque no están bien puestas y se vuelan con el viento, dejando al huésped sin la oportunidad de cubrirse del sol. Algunas reglas como el que los hombres no puedan ingresar a ningún restaurante con playeras sin mangas, pero las mujeres sí, me parecen ridículas, especialmente cuando la gente está de vacaciones. Fuera de esto, el servicio fue muy buena, la comida decente sin sobresalir y se pasa un buen rato de relajación.

Las filas en los restaurantes son largas y sin motivo puesto que hay mesas disponibles. La preparación de los alimentos en la mayoría muy lenta. No hay aire acondicionado en la mayor parte de la propiedad, que con temperatura de 35 grados es indispensable. La app del hotel no funciona y tienen un notable problema de comunicación en todas las áreas del hotel. La mayoría del Staff es muy amable, destaco a Eligio, mesero en el área de la alberca.

The food was sold to us on the 6th. They told us it was lobsters, and I had to pay $4,070 for 4 people. I complained because we only received small langoustines, and I paid for 4. I only received 2. The pool was very dirty, and only 2 restaurants were open. We had to wait in line to have lunch. There was very little staff and very poor service. We traveled as 17 people to your hotel, and it was not what we expected.

Breakfast at buffet was pretty much the same everyday but food was good. Room cleaning was great. I guess it may be a symptom of the time of year but the restaurants rotated being open for dinner and two of them were totally closed.

Yes room was very clean. Even though we requested special pillows they were not very comfortable but we made due. Staff was very polite and courteous. I was very disappointed that the restaurants didn’t serve more Mexican food. We couldn’t find any menu that contained Mexican options. The beach was beautiful and once again staff was great.

The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay pleasant. While the facility is definitely older and showing its age in many areas, the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The food options were a bit limited compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in different parts of Mexico, but overall, it was a decent experience.

Most of the areas were very dirty and old. The silverware was always with rest of past meals, even lipstick and stains. Roof in the aisles in very bad conditions I was always afraid of getting hit in my head by a piece of roof. Dishes and kitchen areas very dirty and grassy.

La atención que tuvimos fue muy buena, todos muy atentos. Sin embargo el servicio de room service deja mucho que desear, entramos al spa y consideramos que hace falta mas higiene ya que no cambian las toallas que se usan en camastros y en el hidromasaje por cada usuario. Tambien tuvimos que hacer uso del servicio de doctor del hotel y es excesivamente caro; en una noche nos dieron sabanas con gotas de sangre. Pudimos disfrutar de todo el viaje pero si deja que desear en algunos aspectos.

The view is amazing but the rooms are dated. The staff at check in was focused on selling you rather than taking care of our needs and at times lacked social awareness. The staff was also not fully informed. Numerous times we got conflicting information on our questions. This property has amazing potential but needs help. Durante las 4 noches que estuvimos no hubo aire acondicionado y hacia un calor horrible en la habitación, a mi niño le dio temperatura en la tercera noche y el hotel de 500 habitaciones no tenia ni lo basico de un kit de emergencias yo solo pedia un termómetro y me dijeron que no tenian, tuve que pedir uno a una farmacia fuera del hotel. Fuera de ahi amo a los empleados son muy amables.

This resort is the best all inclusive I have ever been too. The only issue was if you like to watch a movie there is very little English TV, so if you plan on watching movies take a laptop. Also the WIFI is excellent throughout the resort.

The good…..nice pools and many of them, beach is beautiful, views are wonderful. The bad….the noise level was so bad. We have stayed in many resorts and never experienced this bad of noise. Don’t bother with the upgrade to preferred as you will hear the bands in the lobby. Weddings held in the main concourse area -was like we were in the weddings. Some staff don’t seem very happy at all, but I guess that is everywhere. The ok…..The food was mediocre. I am not a fussy eater at all but got sick one day, but there’s lots of options. Drinks were ok. Hotel is run down. They really need to put some money into it. Entertainment was ok. All things considered we would not stay at this resort again.

Hotel muy viejo y con poco mantenimiento, la cerradura de la puerta batallaba para cerrar, la chapa de la puerta corrediza no servía (y estábamos a nivel de la alberca, cualquiera podía entrar), el grifo se no enfriaba, la puerta del baño se atoraba, daba la impresión de estar muy sucio pero en realidad eran las condiciones de todo lo que daba esa sensación, el ruido de afuera era muchísimo y se pasaba el ruido del otro cuarto, se podía distinguir cualquier conversación a volumen normal. Por otro lado, la atención del personal era impecable, cualquier cosa te atendían al momento y de buena forma, como en pocos lugares. La comida estaba riquísima en todos los restaurantes, y las albercas muy agradables, sin tanta gente y muy bonitas las vistas, ideales para descansar. En conclusión, solo le falta mantenimiento y sería un hotel muy recomendable.

Nos fuimos decepcionados. El colchón se hundía, el aire acondicionado súper ruidoso. En El restaurante italiano, dejaban entrar a quien querían aún sin respetar el código de vestimenta, nos hicieron esperar más de 50 minutos, parados afuera y adentro tenían muchas mesas vacías. Very nice property, with great beach access and view. The food was good for being all inclusive. My only complaint which is a big deal, is front desk is very unorganized with billing. They double charged us for services and it was very difficult to dispute.

This place has so much potential and could use a great location manager to make things better. The location and its proximity to the beach are amazing. The warm water and clear water are perfect. There is a lack of attention to the staff and their customer service. The fact that they could not make an old fashion cocktail speaks volumes. You ask the same question to different staff members and get a different answer every time. There were a few exceptions who provided great service. Genaro and Cristina were fantastic in the preferred lounge. Alberto from the preferred beach was also fantastic. Basic training on customer service and training the bar staff how to prepare some drinks would be helpful

Staff is very friendly. Visit Lucio (El maestro tequilero) for mezcal tasting! Unfortunately, staff is very eager for you to engage on their hotel promotions taking up to three hours of your time.

Location is fabulous, I was disappointed that they don't have better Oaxaca food in the restaurants. DO NOT eat at El Patio restaurant, they have a mosquito infestation. The cleaning staff are fabulous, but the beds sunk in too much, due to over use. Overall a lovely stay.

Good hotel in a beautiful bay. The staff are very welcoming. The restaurants and gym seemed somewhat small considering the number of rooms in the hotel. I personally did not like the artificial juices used for lemonades and cocktails - they felt artificial. Good experience overall though!

El hotel es bueno, las instalaciones también y el servicio, pasamos unos días muy agradables. Solamente las bebidas no fueron de nuestro agrado porque utilizan puros jarabes y concentrados de mala calidad y sustitutos de bebidas originales. Pero en general muy bien!
