Plans changed last minute for 2 nights in Lake Louise area. This was pricier than most, but got us in walking distance (about 1.25 miles) to Lake Louise and they have a contracted shuttle for Moraine Lake for $60CAD per person. We missed out on the cheap shuttle through Canada Parks which is best option getting to the 2 lakes. There is a local bus as well, but that only goes to Louise, not Moraine. The stay itself was probably the best lodging we had over 10 days between Glacier NP and Banff. If you want some convenience and don't mind shelling out some bucks, this is nice.

Its such a convenient location to walk to Lake Louise and I love how we could book a bus right to Moraine Lake. Grounds were beautiful with flowes and its in the woods. They even had food/snacks/drinks you could buy.

Lovely cosy cabin , larger than expected. Good quality furnishings & very clean . Soon warmed up when we arrived in snow in June . Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding . Parking beside the cabin On site laundry was good & didn’t cost much . Easy 20 minute walk to Lake Louise

I reserved a room for 4 adults and was given one with a pull out bed and queen bed. The front staff was very helpful when I asked if we could get a room so all 4 adults had a bed. They changed our room to include a bedroom with two twin beds and a queen. Front desk was very helpful. They had great coffee in the lobby in the mornings and lent us a deck of cards! It was so convenient to Lake Louise and you could park after 7pm for free. We were able to book a shuttle to Lake Moriane from the hotel. (60$ per person). Try to request a room not facing the road…it was a little noisy when the tour buses passed. Very nice grounds. A little playground for kids and picnic bench’s. I would stay there again. The beds were comfortable and I love the soft sheets.

First, the location is spectacular. We were in a Preferred Fairview Suite with a view of the mountain that was mind blowing. The small deck was divine to sit out on and drink wine in the evening, and coffee in the morning. We didn't want to go to bed, and we didn't want to leave. Second, this is one of the most impressive properties I've ever seen. The degree of meticulous care they take to attend to the grounds and buildings is remarkable. It was beyond clean, and was in phenomenal repair. The structures are very well built and maintained, and the cabins scattered about the property looked well-tucked in for relative privacy and super convenient parking. The staff at check in was so welcoming and genuinely happy for how excited we were to be there. Easy drive up to the lake, had dinner locally, and enjoyed every minute we were at Paradise Lodge and Bungalows. Thank you !!!

This is a nice place to stay if you want a rustic experience but it is a cabin without any other amenities such as a pool, hot tub or sauna and there is not much to do in the small village associated with Lake Louise.

Friendly staff, the English lady who checked us in was very welcoming. There's free tea and coffee at reception along with some muesli bars etc. Great spot to stay if you are visiting lake Louise. You can walk to the lake from here within about 20 minutes which saves the hassle of the whole parking situation they have down there. The cabin was lovely with a nice warm fire and all the home comforts. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to come back here in the winter.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It was our final stop of our Canadian Rockies vacation and I wish we could have stayed longer. Our unit was exceptionally clean and cozy, the staff were super welcoming, we loved the easy walk to Lake Louise (and getting to avoid the busy park and ride shuttle), and the setting was just gorgeous.

We stayed there 3 nights and our room was cleaned only once. I brought it to their attention. Disappointing, especially with how much we paid for our room. A dollar amount concession was made that helped. I would come back in the future. Thank You....

We loved our unit at Paradise Lodge and Bungalow’s. We had a street facing, 2nd floor unit and it was wonderful. The unit was spotless and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening. Wish it had been a little warmer so we could have used the balcony more, the view was spectacular. Close drive to restaurants and the staff was so friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Used the kitchen facilities- important to know that it is a kitchen area vs a full kitchen. Has dishes, utensils, microwave and coffee maker plus sink. Would have been nice if there was a toaster. Really appreciated that the blinds blocked out any light so had a great sleep. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is a great place to stay if you want to walk the mile up to Lake Louise and not worry about getting parking or bus. It’s a cool historic resort but expensive because of its proximity to the lake. The front desk woman was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice but the bathroom fan wouldn’t turn off- we think the sensor was broken and it hummed all night. Not much we could do at that point the front desk was closed. There was another noise that came on all night, might have been the heater but we turned off the heat so couldn’t figure out why that was also humming. In short, lots of humming and didn’t sleep well. Expected more for the high price. View from patio was a bonus (see pic)

The Wilson cabin was very small and the Queen bed was uncomfortable. We had to call at about 9:30 as the toilet would not flush. We then had to add water to the tank when we needed to flush the toilet! Not worth the price to stay here.

The suite we stayed in was very cozy & had a great balcony with a view of the mountain. Came with every amenity we needed. The best part was the location - easily walkable (~20 mins) to Lake Louise and a 5 minute drive down the mountain to restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Paradise Lodge and Bungalows is a very well maintained property and the staff were second to none. The one downside is we had the bungalow closest to the entrance and the road noise was as loud when all the windows and door was shut as when all windows were open. Not a quiet place to sleep. The bungalows along the back of the property would have been much better.

Very conveniently located, 15 to 20 minutes walk from Lake Louise (parking at lake Louise is very challenging so being close is a great +). The preferred Fairview suite is comfortable: 1 separate room and 1 living room. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The convertible sofa wasn’t super comfortable for the kids and the fridge in the room was pretty loud. But it was great to have dinner in the suite and we enjoyed the balcony which had a nice view on the mountain. The fireplace was great to have too. We enjoyed spending time there. We stayed 3 nights and that was enough.

It was very quiet, beautiful views of the mountains. Only issue we had is satellite TV can be a little strange as every program has a narration in it as they use satellite TV so you never know what you’re getting and Wi-Fi can come in and out making it challenging for certain programs to come in. and some programs are a little strange.

It was a great place to stay and be away from the hustle of Banff. Would say one thing if you need good connections for WI-FI they need to work on that. Maybe up date TV’s to smart ones. That way you can stream. No cable but cartoon channels. It’s just nice to come back in the evening and see some news. Very very clean cabins. We would stay again for sure. Thank you.

Loved our stay at Paradise Lodge & Bungalows. I had one night booked and tried to extend for 2 more nights after we had to cancel our Jasper trip. Both Isabel and Danielle were super sweet and helpful when I called multiple times to check on availability. When we checked in we learned we had been upgraded to a larger cabin. I loved the cabin, the soaker tub, the bath products, the potbelly stove, the view from the deck. We also liked that we were able to walk to Lake Louise from the lodge. Definitely our favorite stay on our trip.

Picked this property because of it's close proximity to Lake Louise and we were able to easily walk to the lake from our cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and the complimentary coffee pods was much appreciated. We also used the convenient shuttle service that they offer for their guests to Moraine Lake. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Convenient location in Lake Louise. Located between the Lake and the village. A cozy cottage that was comfortable for two. It is in walking distance to both. However the paths are steep and would add lots of steps to any hikes you are already doing. The Lodge does not have a restaurant or cafe on site. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker provided. Food options in the village are limited and extremely busy! Breakfast options are awesome at the Trailhead Cafe! Many places close early so plan ahead for food if you’ll be out all day hiking.

**A Perfect Base for Exploring Lake Louise!** We had an incredible stay at Paradise Lodge & Bungalows. The location is unbeatable—just minutes from Lake Louise, with easy access to Highway 1, making it the ideal spot to explore not only the local sights but also attractions further afield. Having a rental car was perfect for our day trips. The lodge offers plenty of nearby activities like horseback riding, and we loved that they loaned us bear spray (thankfully, we didn’t need it!). The scenery around the lodge is breathtaking—truly the Rockies at their finest. And, compared to some pricier options like the Fairmont, it’s an amazing deal. For per adventure meals, we highly recommend stopping by the Trailhead for their breakfast sandwiches and coffee—perfect before a day of hiking or sightseeing. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again when we visit the area!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May. We loved this place, it’s quiet and close to lake Louise and the town center. Our cabin was spotless and had everything you need for your stay. We even used the bbq one night after talking to the front office. I would book this property again in a heartbeat, you’ll love it too.

It’s good average hotel with no restaurant at all, but people were all great! With the price charged, I would pay more elsewhere with restaurant and other amenities. The people at the hotel were all very friendly and nice.

Very close to Lake Louise, well a 20 min walk mostly uphill, but worth the effort. Clean and comfortable but bring your own food, as it’s limited and expensive in the village.
