Hotel Berthelot

It’s by far not a 4 star hotel. They try to do their best, but the breakfast was not what you must expact from a 4 star hotel, the coffeemachine didn’t work and they dind’nt fix it up on my request, the access card did’nt work each time when I want to enter the room. I hope, the owner of the hotel give his staff instructions not using their phone at the desk for the whole day and not to smoke in front of the door. But the price quality is good, around €35 a night.

Was a nice hotel for a city centre, limited parking.

While the location, service, and breakfast were certainly highlights, the facility itself felt a bit outdated. A refresh of the decor and amenities would significantly enhance the guest experience. Additionally, the hotel's entrance was somewhat hidden and lacked a proper offloading area, which could be a minor inconvenience upon arrival and departure.

Dicht bij het centrum. Weinig parkeerpplaats bij hotel. Amper drie plaatsen...Je kan gewoon langs straat parkeren ook. Maar je moet soms wat toertjes doen om een plaatsje te vinden

The people atbthe hotel were vey helpful withe the car park although they were full. Breakfast was good. The room had the right size. Through the mattress you could feel the wiring and ony having a top sheet instead of a summer duvet, for me was insuficient. What I liked the least was the water heater in the shower, no water pressure and jumps of heat. The towels were awful.

Good hotel, clean and well located in the city center. Very kind and professional personnel. On the negative side - card keys not functional, very small bathroom, not wheelchair-friendly, low quality of the breakfast.

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here after a long journey (24 hours in transit) and were relieved to have such a quiet and clean hotel room for our first night in Romania. If we had been staying longer in Bucharest we would have stayed at this hotel for more than one night.

Lovely hotel, very varied breakfast. Friendly staff. Great location. Under the beds in the room had a lot of old food/rubbish, the rest of the hotel was spotless. Sadly the mattresses were rock solid so not very comfortable but good overall and especially for the price.

Easy access to the whole downtown. Fairly new, clean and well maintained hotel.

Hotellet ligger sentralt plassert til gamlebyen, severdigheter, t-bane, mange spisesteder rundt hotellet. Det var en meget bra frokost og renholdet var bra. Veldig behjelpelig resepsjon. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

If you’re looking for a hotel with reliable Internet this is NOT the place. I reported that the Internet in our floor was down during the second day of a four day stay. It never got fixed. Disappointing.

Muy buena estancia en general, hotel muy bien situado, zona muy segura y muchos sitios para comer. Recepción un chico q ha vivido en España varios años era super amable y nos dio muchas facilidades. Lo recomiendo.

The room was good, but what stood out here was the amazing staff. Carmen at reception was amazingly friendly and had great advice. The food at the restaurant was also amazing. Try the Romanian traditional dishes for dinner and grilled vegetables. The service from Diana in the restaurant was superb. Lasty, be sure and order breakfast buffet! OMG - my Mom said was the best in her 78 years. Veggies, fruit, cheeses, meats.

L’hotel si presenta bene, la camera è quella che ti aspetteresti da un 4 stelle, un unico neo negativo non dell’hotel ma dalla posizione è che per gli autobus è giusto un po’ scomodo, bisogna camminare quei 12/15 minuti a piedi per la maggior parte delle mete.

Havde booket et dobbeltværelse men da vi kom fik vi at vide at der ikke var nogen ledige. Fik istedet 2 stk singleværelser hvilket vi blev nødt til at acceptere. Selve værelserne var pæne, rene og der var god plads. Morgenmaden havde et OK udvalg men maden stod ikke på køl og de lune retter var halvkolde. Tænker ikke at restauranten havde “overlevet” et kontrolbesøg fra den danske Fødevarestyrelse.

Estancia de 1 noche en Bucarest y primera experiencia con un hotel de Rumania y en su capital. Destaco dos cosas positivas: su ubicación, muy cerca de la calle de la Victoria, la principal de Bucarest y bastante céntrico, por tanto; y su excelente desayuno, tipo buffet, con bastante variedad, perfecto estándar europeo continental, aunque con café hecho en máquinas y que no está mal, aunque podría ser mejor. De aspecto negativo destaco la relación-precio de la habitación: una cama con un colchón muy duro y en la que no funcionaba ni la nevera pequeña, ni el aire acondicionado correctamente. Pero lo que menos me gusta es la poca amabilidad del personal. Ya hemos visto que los rumanos solo son amables si te van a vender algo y a la hora de cobrar, pero ya está. El estándar de gentileza y amabilidad (ya no digo simpatía, porque sé que los europeos del sur estamos por encima del resto de Europa) no es el mismo que en Cataluña, España o Europa del sur y occidental, en general, pero esperaba que los rumanos (por su lengua romance) se parecieran más a nosotros que a los europeos del Este y no es así, se parecen mucho al resto de la Europa del Este y a su poca simpatía. El personal fue correcto pero nada más. Ni un triste saludo a la hora de marcharnos, no te preguntan nada a la hora del check-out, no te explican demasiadas cosas (sólo las normas del hotel, eso sí, para que te queden claras pero nada de sus servicios).Volvería al hotel por un precio razonable pero buscaría algo mejor.
