In front of the Hotel you can see a people under influence asking you for money some of them really scary. The train station is super closed that you can hear the train all night, and also the door and mirror om the bathroom door shaking due to vibration and it was scary when you are on the bathroom. They advertise parking but they doesnt have it and will charge $55 per day. Also the 3 days that we stay we couldn't use the indoor pool either. If you are looking for a good option on Washington this is not the one.she

Property is next door to the metro and a seven 11 and dominos. Staff is very friendly. Unfortunately our air conditioning in the room broke and we had to change rooms. Got to the new room and the main light was out but didn’t feel like having to deal with another issue so just used lamps. Door to get into pool didn’t work but could use a different door so did that. Air conditioning in the gym was broken. Hotel would of been perfect if all the maintenance items were updated

Stay was not bad. The pool was closed, limited ice machines, the restaurant was less than desirable, a/c barely worked. Other than that it was ok. The bright spot was the staff, all of the staff were amazing.

Both of our comforters had many rips and tears. The A/C was being repaired on the 2nd floor where you check in and the restaurant was located so they had many portable AC units placed everywhere. Not what we are used to for Mariott properties

All the employees were very helpful, attentive and friendly. As you walk through the front door, you are blasted with extreme heat. The AC is broken. It was 93degrees all week. Another annoyance is that there is only one working elevator out of the 3 they offer. The ony breakfast options are a very expensive Starbucks inside the hotel. ($60 breakfast for 2) The bar area and bartender were great.

We stayed here for two nights. ( ) The check in/out process was easy. Parking is via valet with unlimited in/out privileges for ~$45 daily. You request your car via link that the valet texts to you. The redline Metro is right next to the hotel and the noise wasn’t too much of an issue getting sleep. The union market is across the street. Hotel requires the key card to get into and to access the elevator (exception: getting from ground floor to lobby) (-) the valet area is small and can be an inconvenience when there are 3 or more cars waiting. The hotel’s mini mart can be a little pricy and the 7/11 convenience store is not open 24/7. My room’s heater was not working and the room could not get above 67 degrees (housekeeping gave us a couple thin blankets but we made it work). The bathroom’s hygiene amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body soap) are attached to the wall and are not the small sample sized products which means that previous guests can possibly tamper with the products. Overall, would stay again for a short visit due to its affordability and convenience to metro but I’d bring my own hygiene products and stay in a room with working heat (if I stay during the winter).

This hotel is very nice. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. Despite being a holiday weekend, I thought the price for the room was reasonable. I booked at this hotel 2 days prior to coming to DC because my original hotel ended up being sketchy. The area around the hotel is as expected for an inner city. Just be aware of your surroundings, don't linger too long outside late at night, but if you do, just make sure you are not alone. Other than that, it's a fun and vibrant city. Upon arrival, the concierge was very nice and the check in process was smooth. However, just know that the damage deposit for more than 2 nights stay, is $250. I did not know this information before arriving. Also, they charged my card 2 days before arrival, even though I chose the "pay at hotel" option, so also be aware of that prior to booking. If I visit DC in the future, I would stay at this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and the valet parking was super convenient and quick! We were able to walk to a few local restaurants, which was really nice for easy options. The only down side was our hotel room faced the train, which could be heard during the later hours of the night.

We stayed at this property because we were attending an event nearby. Our room and experience was not great. Our daughter found hairs in her bed, the bathroom, while equipped with neatly-stacked towels, was also not clean. Finally, to cap it off, my wife and I both took cold showers before it was time to leave. My girls opted not to for that very reason. I’ve never stayed in such a large hotel and had a cold shower. For that reason, I would have a hard time recommending this property to anyone else.

I killed a roach in my room the first night we got there. It is not a nice place. I asked to change room so i could have 2 beds and they ignored my request saying the hotel was sold out. The neighborhood is not nice. This is was not a nice place to stay.

I only stayed one night but found the room to be comfortable clean and spacious. I had more space and more in-room features (microwave!) than some of the nearby competing hotels. I was happy to have access to many fun restaurants in the nearby union market district and generally felt like a more fun neighbourhood than other areas where I’ve stayed closer to the Capitol. Charging for the in-room water bottle when the tap water is too warm feels like something from a long gone age. Also one annoyance was the long time it took to get around using the elevators without an obvious stair option.

The stay was good. The only issue was that our room was on the back side of the hotel near the train station, so the noise from the train affected sleep. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The air conditioner in our room was VERY VERY noisy - the room was cool but still impossible to sleep because it rattled all night long. My husband took a video and showed it to the front desk staff, who was shocked by the noise level. Given what we were charged by Expedia (that was a lot more than the rate that appeared on our bill), this was an unacceptable experience.

Easy check-in. Given a top (8th) floor room. View of train tracks. Could hear metro and train from the room, but not obnoxious. Good location—walking distance to quite a few food options and right on the metro (red line) stop with access to all the local attractions. Would stay again.

We had a great stay overall. Our room was a little smaller than expected, but it was fine for just 2 people. We also had low water pressure. Cute boutique feel! It was also close to the Metrorail which was convenient to help us get around DC.

Service was mostly good. One of the supervisors wasn’t the most courteous individual. My initial room had issues (A/C stopped working, tv stopped working), so they did provide me a new room. I also wasn’t a fan of the couple bums hanging out front everyday. Other than that, not too many other complaints. The cost was reasonable.

I loved the hotel however, did not love the breakfast service. The cashier was disoriented and was not friendly. Did not explain the organizational process. For example; we paid for orange juice but she never explained we need to take it out of the refrigerator, the wait was not bringing it. Also, the were 5 of us two of us had our breakfast and 25 minutes later the rest of us got ours. They did not explain that they will give us the cup with coffee but we had to ask for it. Anyway, this personnel needs lots of training. The valet parking was friendly, professional and caring. Registration was fast and friendly. The only disappointment was breakfast :(

Overall great property for the price, loved the location and it’s located right beside the train station which made our commute pretty convenient. Please 7/11, subway, dominos etc are all right beside the hotel which is a big boon. There are 2 things I did not like due to which I’m not giving 5 stars - firstly we went during peak summers so pool should’ve been open as we really wanted to take a dip and we specifically booked a hotel with a swimming pool and secondly, we called the room service to bring towels, we had to call 4-5 times and it took more than an hour to get towels (it was our last day and we were getting late for our flight)

recently had the misfortune of interacting with a rude and racist male staff member at the front desk during the night shift. His unhelpful demeanor and tendency to talk excessively made the experience unpleasant. When I asked for my room number, he simply told me to look at the back of my card, without providing further assistance. While I appreciate the importance of maintaining guest privacy, I was unaware that my room number was printed on the card. This experience was particularly disappointing, given my family's positive history with Marriott. Fortunately, the female staff member working during the day was extremely helpful and accommodating.

It was a smooth check in. The hotel is super close to the DC Metro which makes it super convenient as well. Along with that, if you're there for a long stay a couple of grocery stores and good food options are also nearby. Its an all round bonus. Apart from that the hotel/stay itself was pretty comfortable. The rooms are relaxing with the extra couch that is a good addition compared to sinlge chair option that many hotels in that price bracket have.

Excellent location, right aside the Noma Metro stn. Easy walking to gr8 selection of bars and food halls at Union Market. Very easy to get downtown in minutes. Up and coming area with old and new. Very safe and staff and locals super friendly. Could easily do room only, in hindsight as numerous eateries within a stones throw.

Excellent location for visiting Smithsonian and DC monuments; hotel is just a few steps away from Metro station that is very easy to get to DC sites. Roomy room with lots of storage. Bed was very nice but a bit to firm for me (but I like an extra soft bed). Pharmacies, grocery store, many dining choices, 7-11 convenience store, all within a few minutes walk. Two nights; slept well, hotel quite, not highly aware of city sounds or noise of other guests.

While this hotel appears a bit older, the rooms were clean and the staff/service was excellent! Emily at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and made our stay so much better. The pool is decent, and the food from the restaurant was delicious! Overall, a very nice stay!

I had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard hotel, thanks to the great staff and exceptional service. The bartender was a highlight—she made the best French 75 I’ve ever had! Housekeeping was excellent, keeping my room clean daily without any need for reminders. However, I did experience a minor issue with the toilet not flushing properly. While I felt safe inside the hotel, the area just outside was less reassuring. There was a homeless man sitting near the 7-Eleven with a cart full of belongings, and I noticed some rats in the area, which was unsettling.

I know this place has a lot of mixed reviews but we booked this hotel because my friend & I had a concert and we just wanted to stay somewhere to sleep since we drove 4 hours. This hotel was really clean and the staff were helpful. The restaurant/bistro in the hotel is just okay, the food was decent and I had a margarita that was pretty good. I would stay here again. The bathroom and bedroom were all clean as well. Their body care stuff in the shower is also very nice! The parking though, you probably should book the valet when you check in because it’s worth it and due to a high rate of motor vehicle theft, it’s best that they park your car and not park somewhere random. 10/10

It was very convenient, about 2 minutes from the north exit of NoMa-Gallaudet U New York Ave Station on subway red line. There was a problem that I was asked to pay for breakfast, but it was quickly resolved. The condition of the room and the service of the staff were good.
