Well, the TV in our room never worked as it would turn off every few seconds. Management tried Friday, Saturday, Sunday to fix , unsuccessful so no TV. Fitness room HOT!!!! It was 90 degrees on the thermostat, brutal, and I’m from South Texas. Only had a treadmill, elliptical and some dumbbells, no wipes, no water. Also, the mattress was very firm, it was uncomfortable to say the least. I doubt I will stay at a Fairfield again.

I’m honestly really frustrated with how terrible this experience has been. The first room I was given, the door didn’t close/lock properly. Which is a huge safety concern. The second room I was given was disgusting. You could tell it wasn’t cleaned well- not vacuumed, sticky things on multiple surfaces, stuff left in the bathroom, etc. Additionally, most of the outlets didn’t work, which was wildly inconvenient. I hated being here.

I'm not one to complain much but unfortunately, I had to leave prior to my last night's stay here due to the moldy, musty smell of my room. The carpet was wet covering one third of the room from the air conditioner I'm assuming. I had heard several other people complain about their rooms, so I didn't ask to be moved to another room. I finally had to leave and paid for another hotel. I was hoping I could be reimbursed for one night's stay but so far, I have not been contacted back by the Manager.

Under construction, they made no noise during our stay. The room did not get cleaned, though I asked them to please clean it. The sink was clogged up. The main door to the room did not fit flush, so it allowed the hall light to come through into the room. The construction was not a big deal

This was the MOST comfortable bed and PILLOWS......oh my gosh.......I have ever slept on!! My most favorite part about this hotel. It did have a slight "odor" in the hotel, which I wasn't sure if it was just because it was an older hotel or what. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Firstly, the maps location is misleading, the hotel is not located directly off the two highways, it’s further down the main highway and not at the intersection like PROMOTED. The Lobby was under construction and had a strong paint smell. When we walked in no one was at the front desk and we had to repeatedly call a landline located on the 3rd floor and wait for the only staff member on which to come down the elevator. Other than that, check in was simple. The wallpaper in the hotel bathroom and room was pealing off and exposing drywall in numerous places. The shower wall was stained green and very dirty? I didn’t shower my whole stay due to this. They also experienced wifi issues all 3 days we were there so no netflix or usage of the TV on our vacation. Pros: Great AC in Texas heat. Did not stink of paint in the rooms. King bed was soft and clean. Overall…. not worth it for this price

Front desk staff was very polite. Room was nice except there was a lot of black hairs left in the shower. They were extremely visible; no way the staff could have overlooked this if shower had been properly cleaned. The road noise was terrible. We used white noise apps on three devices at full volume and could still hear every truck.

The water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink were terrible. The ironing board and iron were prwtty worthless. Room was clean but beds were rock hard. Nice place to stay but need better mattresses for sure.

This property is undergoing a renovation. Unfortunately, it appears to be a very superficial one. For example, in my room, the shower walls had been replaced, but the shower pan was original and yellowed with age. There were no towel racks installed. The shower pressure and temperature were subpar…low pressure and largely lukewarm water at its hottest. The lobby had not yet been fully renovated. The carpet outside my room was being replaced during my stay, despite the fact the hotel was largely empty and I could have been put in a room where I would not have this issue.

Just meh for the most part. But the unacceptable was when the fire alarm went off at 5:30 AM & I walked into the lobby to get some answers. The gentleman at the front desk ignored me and another patron and walked away from us when we were trying to understand what was going on.

Hotel is going through a remodel. Signs all around the property state that the remodel would be finished by 11/12, today’s date is 11/16. The pool and hot tub were closed and not communicated as such. Upon checking in, was given keys to a room that was already occupied. Less than satisfied with this situation

Property is in the process of renovations and thus the lower than 5star review. Our room was not yet renovated and there are limited number of rooms available for use so we were upgraded to a King Suite. It was spacious and clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was OK. Ali, at tbe front desk, and Jay, the manager, were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was conveniently located at 287 in Mansfield. The breakfasts were the best I've had at any hotel. Eggs, a protein, Waffle maker, fresh oatmeal (with every kind of topping you could want), several cereal choices, bagels, English muffins, toast, yogurts, and fruits. Very nice, fresh, and good! This is definitely a come-back-to hotel. (Hopefully renovations will be complete!)

The property was under renovation and was not stated on Expedia. The pool was closed and it’s summer, the gym AC was not working and smelled like mold and WiFi was down. There was also bugs in the restroom. When bringing these issues to manager and asked for discounted pricing he said there was nothing he could do since it was booked through Expedia. When my wife contacted Expedia and explained the situation they contacted the manager. Then he lied to Expedia stating he had mentioned all the issues ahead it time. Terrible management. I do not recommended this location.

My friend and I were in town visiting my sister and her family. I have stayed at other nearby hotels, but decided to try this one. The beds were comfortable and the rooms/halls were quiet. Enjoyed having a fridge in the room. The A/C worked well and the hot water came out of the shower really fast. We ate at the breakfast downstairs 4 out of our 5 mornings. The staff we spoke with were all so helpful and friendly. We had an incident during our stay and had to ask for our sheets to be changed and we didn't have any issue or push back. I already told my friend that I would definitely stay here again. Side note: we were going to go use the pool. The day we were going to go swimming, someone had taken the hose and overflowed the pool, so there was some draining and filtering needed. Apparently it was the 2nd time in a week that had happened, so the pool would be unavailable for a couple of hours, but we ended up doing other things. Thank you Fairfield Inn Mansfield for such a pleasant trip.

Breakfast needs improvement - tasteless scrambled eggs, lukewarm coffee, english muffin was rock hard. Bagels were good, good selection of teas. Low flow showhead had us taking twice as long to shower ....so how did we save water? It took a long time to rinse out any shampoo or conditioner.

The toilets run a lot, and we have been in two rooms because of them. The lighting in the bathroom is not great. The beds were comfortable. The pool was nice. The breakfast menu was limited.

There was nothing to like about this hotel-renovations occurring without advanced warnings, privacy locks in 2 rooms (201 & 207) not working, plumbing in 207 (tub drain) working poorly, breakfast was terrible ( burnt bacon, no eggs or biscuits just sausage and egg McMuffin). Among the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. We checked in late and couldn’t get a refund or we would have left.
