We arrived at about 230. They wouldn’t let us check in until 3 on the dot. Half the rooms in the hotel aren’t used but they claimed they had to inspect the rooms before we could check in. Area around the pool/outdoor area has a wooden fence around it that’s broken and hanging. Looks like it isn’t being kept up with. Pool isn’t covered full of dirt and leaves. Green/brown water. There is a restaurant on the basement floor. Loud music until midnight. We could hear it while laying in bed. Our room was right near the street. Cars speed down the road so it’s very noisey all hours of the night. All they have for breakfast is cereal and apple juice/orange juice. I will say the bathroom in our room was very clean.

Just a two night trip with the family. Hotel is very basic, dated/worn furniture which was to be expected given the cost per night. Breakfast was to be included but only consisted of cereal and bagels. There was no milk out for the cereal, no coffee made. There was no cleaning service between the two nights stay. Frankly, that is one of the perks that I look forward to when on vacation...having someone make the beds instead of me for a change. The pool was one of the reasons that we chose this hotel. It looked nice, but it closed super early at 8 pm so we never had an opportunity to use it.

It is near everything and the only draw back is the restaurant takes all the parking so you will have to wait. Also the ice machines are broken and all the furniture doesn't match but you get what you get for the price

The room itself had several issues. The sink backs up almost immediately, and the toilet clogs. The man overseeing the property the last few days of our stay was quite unpleasant. The property has no swimming after 8 pm! I was on vacation with my kids and at 8 pm sharp they would escort everyone out and lock the gate!

The room itself was great, the AC worked very well, it was very clean and well stocked with necessities. There was a decent breakfast in the morning as well. The front desk is not always staffed, and the vending machines don't work well, so bring your own water and snacks. The hallways to the rooms are a little gross. The parking area is not well lit at night and is not in a great area, but we still felt pretty safe. Overall, I am satisfied. The price was fantastic for the state of the room.

Pretty typical 3-star hotel experience. Room was relatively clean. They seemed very low on staff, but the hotel staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were great and food options were way more than what I expected, though the restaurant and hotel are separate even though they're in the same building. Kids loved the pool.

I was disappointed that there is not someone readily available at the front desk. The gym was inoperable and the “included breakfast” was literally packets of oatmeal and cold cereal. Coffee and juice. Furthermore, the pool closes at 8, instead of 10 like other facilities.

Kinda crappy inside, yucky old table, cracked walls, chipped paint, bathroom sink was dirty. The faucets were caked up with grim and build up, orangish smudges on the sink. Things just were not cleaned and santized properly. End to curtain rod was missing in the little window. It just didnt seem very clean, we slept on top of the blankets and covered up with our own, blanket that i had in my trunk. The water was freezing, takes much longer to warm up than anywhere else ive stayed The only good things, the fridge stayed cold, and the heat worked from the wall unit.

I was shocked by how dirty and poorly maintained my room was. As soon as I walked in, I noticed an unpleasant smell, and it only got worse from there. The floors were sticky, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, and the bedding didn’t feel fresh at all. It was genuinely uncomfortable to stay in the room. I would not recommend staying here unless the management seriously improves their cleanliness and overall upkeep.

There were large stains on the bedding. What looked like dried blood. Because the stains were so large and so dark, there is no way that housekeeping or hotel staff would not have seen them. It is disgusting that the beds were made up as clean this way.

Location is convenient for the hershey attractions. Rooms are extremely small. You can barely move around the bed (it was a double, not a queen as expected) or the bathroom. Not really a breakfast. A couple cereals, bowl of apples and some coffee.

We felt like for the price that we paid for the room. It was old and not up-to-date. Our carpet was stained and dirty. Our building was old and the pool area was old. The breakfast was very minimal and the building was noisy. You could hear other rooms around you.

Nice place for a value hotel room. Pros: cost efficient, room had a nice clean smell, close to Hershey, nice bakery and brewery across the street for meals. Cons: our room was directly above the restaurant exit, there was a lot of door slamming and talking outside our window till about 11 pm. However, the rooms on the other side of the building were close to a very busy and loud road so we probably got the better of the two noise issues to deal with. The furniture definitely could stand to be replaced, tv was mounted poorly and didn’t get many common channels that my kids like, such as Disney. But we didn’t watch much tv anyway.

We stayed for one night and overall everything was good. We got a room towards the front main road and it can be loud at times in the night. Also wish they can add more to the light breakfast don’t mind pay a little extra for that.

First of all, no one was ever at the front desk. To get in touch with the front desk you need to pick up the phone to talk to someone. First time - a woman answered and said we couldn’t check in yet but would leave a note saying we were going to be back and check in late. She never left that note and the hotel then called me later in the day to make sure I was coming and said they needed to leave by 11pm. Ok so we made it back to the hotel by 11pm. Then we get to the room and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Staff changed something but the toilet was broke broke so we had a toilet that didn’t flush the rest of the night and morning. They didn’t help our problem what so ever! Then the “breakfast” was a generic fruit cup. That’s not breakfast. We really aren’t that picky but sheesh, I at least expect a flushing toilet.

Honestly I didn’t even get to stay at the hotel. The concert I was going to see rescheduled so I called to reschedule my booking. When I called in the guy at the front desk told me to call back in 5 minutes- he was away from the desk. I called him back in 10 and he told me he was still busy and in the middle of something and to call back later. I was extremely confused. And hour later out of my own stupidity, clearly, I called back and he yet again refused to help. I hung up. I did not rebook. I did not call back. I ate the fee because i felt defeated and upset. I’ve never had this happen before. I will NEVER book here ever again.

It’s a terrible little motel. If you are going to a concert and just sleeping there it’s passable. The price is ridiculous. The worst though was the indifferent and borderline rude staff.

We booked this property since it was close to Hershey Park and the online images looked nice but they are definitely old photos. We waited an hour and a half to check in because there was literally no one working in the entire hotel. Howard Johnson was no help when I called them. A staff member finally pulled up at 3pm to check us in. Also the breakfast was not on the go breakfast it was oatmeal packets, Raisin Bran, and Frosted Flakes. Will never return!

I have stayed here twice now for appointments at Penn State Health. It’s in a great location for anything you need in Hershey. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The restaurant What If is really great and there’s a wonderful coffee shop just across the street. It would be nice to have a Keurig in the room, but that’s a minor complaint!

The hotel was clean. It advertises a breakfast but does NOT provide one. There were two bins of cold cereal and black coffee. No milk, juice, fruit, danish, sugar... Just dry cold cereal and black coffee. This was in the middle of it's open for eating hours. It was the cheapest hotel but cost us more when you have to add in the cost of going out to eat. I would not stay there again.

If this was a continental breakfast there was 2 cereals, coffee, juice, bagels w cr ch only no butter that’s all nothing else My husband went to get coffee @ 9:15 the guy said he dumped it out there was no more?? It’s still breakfast? The room was not worth the price, I booked this room in April & it was the same price w Expedia on the day we arrived, it should have been cheaper in April booking it earlier! The room I’d say was worth $129/night. The only good part it was close to things that’s all
