For the most part the property was good. The pool area and access needs some updating. The door from the parking lot to the pool area was non-functional.

Hotel seems new! Great pool and hot tub!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Hotel was cleans and quiet. Plenty of parking.

The room had a rather odd smell… musty & mold? There was a strange stain on the box springs. I ended up sweeping the pool due to many leaves & bugs. The hot tub never heated up. Usually I have luck at HDI express.. this one was a miss for me.

I booked this location because it had a pool and jacuzzi. Both were unsanitary and filthy to swim inside of, so not able to use. I have pictures. Bath tub had hair on the shower rubber mat. Red stains on shower curtain. Bed not comfortable, felt sunken in. Heard other guests laughing and running through hallways. Property is 100% smoking not allowed but our neighbors had hallway smelling like a bad smoky substance.

They were out of extra bath towels on the evening I checked in. Only 2 were in the room when I asked the desk they said they only had hand towels they would not have any until the following morning at 11 so I asked for pool towels and got those. Also shower curtain was torn and needs to be updated. Other than that comfortable quiet stay they also have a jacuzzi.

The ev chargers were not operational. Huge let down. Other than that i had a good stay.

Housekeeping never cleaned our room on our three day stay. Even after we requested it to be cleaned. Never done.

There was no service in the first day

Found three cockroaches in my room. Thank god I picked up my one year old before he could put them in his mouth. I was a hassle going through every item to make sure we didn’t bring them home with us. Make me not want to stay in a hotel anymore horrible experience.

It was super clean and customer service is awesome.

The sheets, desk, and dresser were dirty.

Well located for our purpose. Breakfast was just ok. Room was good but bathroom floor was dirty and needed to be mopped. Bed was comfortable.

The pull out sofa bed was all wires and so uncomfortable one Pierson had to sleep on the floor! Also very noisy.

I expect better than this for a Holiday Inn Express. I just stayed at one in Prescott, Arizona 2 weeks ago and it was amazing! This one was obviously an older facility and fairly run down. They were painting the outside while I was there which made it a mess to park, but I praise them for upgrading the exterior. My room had stains on the carpet, the black out drape was either cut or broken because it only came down halfway and so the bottom half of the window stayed open and very lit from the business signs across the street and made it very hard to sleep. The microwave took 3 minutes to get a small item to a luke-warm temperature and their Wifi was incredibly slow and kept dropping out. My biggest praise is that though it showed age and things were broken, the room was at least quite clean and the air conditioning worked great. The lady in charge of breakfast spent more time talking to a co-worker who came each morning to eat and drink there as well than replenishing the food or wiping down the tables. When I asked for something, she was not very friendly or helpful. Your breakfast staff member is the "face" your guests see and experience most often so should be your most friendly and gracious staff member in my opinion.

The room is small for the price that hotel has charged me. I had stayed at HYATT PLACE FRESNO for less price that the Holiday Inn hotel i their room a big and more updated it. Not coming back to this hotel.

PROS: Rooms is spacious and clean. Staff is wonderful. Traditional hot breakfast. Stayed on the second floor corner room. CONS: Next to major street so you'll have your traffic noise and the TV is way too small...

Loved the staff. All professional and courteous!

Property was average. Staff at front desk was rude. The room was prepaid on Expedia. They then charged me again. I am disputing this transaction with my Discover card. This hotel trys to double charge. Would not stay here again.

Very helpful staff!

Front desk person was unhelpful when we checked out. I asked for a final bill, and she refused and told me Expedia would send it. I still have not received a final bill for my charges.

Where do I start, came to my room key card does not work. I had to go back and forth to front desk 5 times before someone came and tried to open my room and told the lock was drained out. Staff on site No help at all. Would never come back to this hotel/motel again

Then, the breakfast was the highlight of my day! The free, full breakfast was amazing. Had a large number of options and tasty, filling food. The hotel was close to my destination (Fresno Fairgrounds). I used the computers to print shipping labels for my business. Sabrina at the front desk was helpful with tape, and a bag for leftover pizza. She greeted me by name the next day, and that's special! And the excellence continued throughout my stay. Thank you for great people, a clean, cheerful hotel, and all the "extras" like a real breakfast, and a computer center) that a tired business person could ever hope for.

We came here for a concert at the Save Mart Center. It is very close and easy to get to. The property is in a clean area. The staff was very helpful. The room was very spacious and clean.

The otherwise wonderful hotel is right on Shaw Avenue, which is a very busy.

We were attending a concert at the Save Mart Center. It was conveniently located and walkable to the venue if you are a walker.

Location to Save Mart Arena is Fantastic

I really liked that it was close to Costco and Walmart. Plus it was close to Yosemite which is where we were headed to.

Definitely recommend and would stay again. Nice staff. The rooms are roomy and clean. Really loved the breakfast.

Easy to get to, close to college, staff wonderful, best breakfast with fresh food, cinnamon rolls, and coffee. Beds comfortable and a.c worked perfectly.

Cleanliness of room & hotel. Safe environment. Daily room service. Full breakfast was fantastic, as was the length offered. Miss Nichole was very friendly & accommodating when we arrived minutes before the end of breakfast hours.
