Fantastisk forlænget weekend på hotel med meget høj standard. Morgenmaden var forrygende, cocktails var super gode og tjenerne meget hjælpsomme og fin DJ-underholdning om aftenen. Parkeringsservice og bilen blev kørt frem igen ved hjemrejsen :-) SPA-området var rent og pænt og god plads til alle. Alt i alt et hotel med rigtig god værdi for pengene. Kan varmt anbefales.

Gym didn’t seem to be exclusive to Grand Hyatt guests meaning the room became overcrowded in the morning. Other than that hotel is well located, rooms are a good size and quiet. Worth a visit.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Der Service war sehr gut. Die Sauna hat uns nicht gefallen, das Dampfbad war für uns zu heiß. Leider haben wir das Schwimmbad nicht nutzen können. Es waren einige Familien mit ihren Kindern dort, wir haben ihnen den Pool gerne überlassen. Für Kinder gibt es wohl nichts Schöneres, als sich im Pool aufzuhalten. Das Hotel können wir insgesamt jedem Interessenten nur empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Hotel, passend zum hohen Standard und Preis. Tolle Zimmer, ausreichender Spabereich. Es hätte sauberer sein können, Schimmel im Kühlschrank und Staub auf den Bilder/ im Bad. Frühstück top, kleine Auswahl mit guten Produkten. Und vor allem bis 12 Uhr verfügbar. Auf die frisch zubereiteten Speisen müssten wir leider eine gabze weile Warten und wenn man schon zum Platz geführt, kann man auch eine kleine Einweisung zum Prozedere geben. Personal immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Das Frühstück war eine Enttäuschung. Grds sehr gut, wenn Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet und serviert werden. Wenn das allerdings schlecht organisiert ist und man bei etwas Andrang mit etwas Pech eine halbe Stunde wartet, ist das nicht mehr schön. Auch Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen entspricht nicht meinen Erwartungen an ein 5 Sterne superior Hotel. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut, vor allem sind die Standard-Zimmer mit 37qm ausnehmend großzügig und mit einem großen schönen Bad versehen. Das wiederum macht Freude. Auch der Pool mit Blick über die Philharmonie ist schön.

Valentino und Erkan haben mit ihrer zuvorkommenden und herzlichen Art unseren Aufenthalt im Grand Hyatt Berlin sehr positiv geprägt – vielen Dank dafür! Leider war der erste Eindruck im Zimmer weniger erfreulich: Wir wurden direkt mit einer unschön platzierten Klobürste konfrontiert, was nicht dem Standard entspricht, den man in einem Haus dieser Klasse erwartet. Auch an der Rezeption wurde auf diesen Hinweis leider nicht wirklich eingegangen. Trotz dieses missglückten Starts haben wir uns durch den freundlichen Service gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

Great service by the whole team and in particular by the breakfast team led by Timothy and Ngan Vu. Couldn’t do enough for me and the buffet was marvellous. Room (346) was very comfortable and quiet at all times. WiFi was good although aircon could have been stronger given the 32 degree heat outside. Bathroom had a strange layout with both bath and shower next to each other behind a sliding door which was much better than the stupid screens you tend to get in hotels nowadays. Not much privacy to be had though as the bathroom doors (there were 2!) had no locks, the shower door was clear glass and the door to the toilet was only opaque. Fine for me as a solo traveler though. Strange that the wardrobe was in the bathroom area.

LONG REVIEW:Let’s make sure everyone understands that this review is towards the manager of the hotel and some of the staff. Overall you see that it’s a 5 star hotel. Does it live up to it? No. When we first arrived we weren’t greeted with any kind of energy or a warm welcome. Later during the day we decided to check the spa/pool in which a staff member of the spa part rudely suggested we were not welcome (as if we tried to sneak in) here unless with robes and swimwear. After asking if they might be able to give us some so we can go back and change he answered “You have already in the hotel room, you should have checked.” We advised that we did indeed check and couldn’t find any (it was in the most weirdest place we’ve ever seen). His reply “Did you ACTUALLY check?” As if we were lying about it…. There’s a way to talk to hotel guest and the way he talked to us was not even worthy of working in hospitality. Was this the end of the story? No just don’t have energy to write about it. The breakfast is AMAZING, also shout out to Mohammed he was the best waiter of all of them!! So attentive and always with a smile! In the evening at the bar…waiting 20 min to get attention of the bartenders ( there were 3 of them) and ended up with a bartender who decided to go to other people and have a drink with them (???) What kind of Hyatt hotel is this? This is not costumer care excellence.

Disappointing customer service. We reserved the bed and breakfast option but we were told the breakfast was only going to be available after 7am and we had to depart the hotel for the airlport at 6am. Expedia and hotel staff told us they would provide us with a boxed breakfast but nothing was provided when we checked out.

We had an excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt. The staff, without exception were extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly. We arrived without luggage (which had not made our flight) and the team went out of its way to make and “Emergency Kit” for the two of us. Special shout out to Bellman Jens who went out of his way to take us to a local pharmacy that was about to close, and ensure we got everything we needed. Aside from that, the hotel facilities and rooms were well appointed, clean and in excellent condition. It is also in an excellent location for public transit or walkable touring. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Berlin.

Excellent location, attentive service, superlative facility. Easy walking distance to the museums, Tiergarten, Brandenburg Tor, Reichstag, etc., nearby shopping, restaurants, even a entertaining vegan donut shop across the street -- everything you could want really, from a Berlin hotel. Room was spotless and in perfect condition -- although the bed was a tad on the hard side - unusually so, but the only oddity in what were otherwise quite luxurious accommodations.

The hotel is great, very clean etc & bed was very comfortable. What really spoiled it for me was the dining, the dining is hugely lacking - or it was when I was there. One restaurant completely closed for the summer and the usual menu for the main restaurant wasn’t available, just a very restricted all-day menu. If the restaurants and full menu had been available it would gave been 5⭐️ all the way but the available dining was nowhere near that level (very limited all-day menu isn’t 5⭐️ - something I’d expect more at a Premier Inn to be honest), I ate elsewhere or ordered in. It’s a shame that the dining spoiled it because it’s a lovely hotel & staff were very friendly and excellent. I’m sure that if I’d been there at another time with Vox offering its full, proper menu it would have been 5⭐️ all the way

Breakfast times felt stressy - staff stressed, coffee barely drinkable, poached eggs never done to order in 5 days! Premises excellent, desk and club staff impeccable. Bar and restaurant staff hit and miss for attention to detail and service. Area a bit noisy at night. Overall a good place to stay, although a few tweaks would make it excellent.
