Great location! We got a room facing the palace. Lifetime experience! Price you pay is all worth it.

We had a delightful stay at the Grand Hotel! Our room was very elegant and kept pristine. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Emil couldn’t have been nicer! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning and had a wonderful early diner at Verandan last evening before our early departure today 7/21/26. A perfect experience! 5 stars!!

The Grand is prestigious. However, I feel that it is overrated and overpriced. I didn’t have breakfast included which was surprising as one would have expected that considering the cost of stay. I did, however have a basic breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast which was disappointing as the eggs were presented runny and cold. This joy was charged at SEK 350, which I thought was rather pricey. The staff are super helpful and polite, rooms are spacious and comfortable with coffee machines are mini bar. In all, a good experience but not unique by any means.
