After staying in quite a lot of scandanavian hotels with their laid back/self sufficient approach, it was lovely to stay in a full service truly 5 star hotel again. I had a deluxe room facing side street, the bathroom was gorgeously spacious with very large bath separate to shower. I paid to use the spa 750SEK for hotel guests . It had a lot of different experiences and was a lovely way to unwind. Dinner at matbaren which I managed to book only a few days in advance, food was lovely. Service everywhere was fantastic. I' d choose to stay there again.

Fantastic stay with great rooms, staff, facilities and location. The staff were super friendly and always there to provide the best possible service. The spa is amazing, with great facilities and perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend the hotel and worth having a front facing room to wake up to beautiful views of the city.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in center of Stockholm. I had a single room (409) which had a full size mattress, extra desk area; entry with full length mirror, tub and separate shower. The Spa in the hotel was impressive with thalassotherapy pool, sauna with bucket shower and plunge pool, steam room, and pool with fire accents.

The treatment from the staff wasn’t good for a five star hotel. I had issues when checking in. I had issues with the order of my food at the bar restaurant- not good food quality either. The hotel has a pool but you can’t use it unless you pay for “the spa treatment” They made feel really uncomfortable all the time. I have stayed at better five star hotels and won’t recommend this at all if you’re looking for that kind of experience.

This was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was wow. Since it was winter, we didn't do much but enjoy the stay. The room service was amazing and the personnel, very kind and inviting. Now, that bathroom is definitely not for short people because stepping out from the tab, it was high and the doors to the WC are something of an experience if you stay in the same room with someone like a friend or sibling. Either way, it was a beautiful stay.

lovely place good food and excellent service with shampagne my junior suite was described on internet with photo picture direct view to the palace and 2 big windows in the main room but in reality there is as a 1 widow in the main room and view was obstructed partially by the building walls… other window was a walk from the adjacent building…

The Grand Hotel lives up to its name. We’ve stayed at many hotels, both luxury and common types, but the Grand Hotel will be at the top of our best hotel stay list. The concierge service was amazing. Both Isaak and Hugo helped weeks before our arrival and during our stay. We ate dinner at The Veranda and the service and food was top shelf. Our room was well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. It was such an amazing experience we’d like to return for another vacation stop in spring or fall.

Highly professional service, beautiful spacious rooms, excellent food and beverage service in the CadierBar. I appreciated the in room espresso machine. Breakfast in the Veranda was high caliber and served many Swedish delicacies.

What a beautiful hotel overlooking the palace. We had a view of the water and it was stunning. Had lunch at Grand Soleil outside on the patio. Excellent food! Nightcaps in the bar overlooking the water also nice. Location was great - walking distance to museums, restaurants, shopping and old Stockholm.

The hotel staff was very helpful in accommodating our request for an early check-in and were efficient and gracious in every encounter. Our only disappointment was with the buffet selection and replenishment at the Grand Veranda which didn't seem able to keep pace with customer holiday demand.

This is a Grand historic Hotel. It is elegant inside and outside. The staff was very good and helpful for the most part - not quite excellent. The location and view from the hotel is spectacular. It is close to many major sites, great restaurants and shopping. The bar is elegant and spacious with great views of the Harbor and city. The food service in the bar was marginal when we had dinner there - better to go to one of many other restaurants nearby.

Beautiful, classic hotel in a nice location. Great breakfast and a beautiful bar. Check in was a bit of a mess but on the third try it all worked out very well. The room was very cosy but a bit dated with a few broken features. Room service was fairly fast and nicely presented. A bit tricky to get trustable answers on gluten-free options but the food was good. The breakfast was very tasteful and well presented. The gluten free options were great. It was a bit tricky to get a good table but all fine after a bit of begging. The over all service was ok but was expecting a bit more attention in the bar and restaurant. The baggage service was friendly. They came on the second call. The spa is supposed to be very nice but since children were not welcome we did not try it this time. Over all a good stay but with some flaws here and there.

Grand Hotel is an Icon snd it was with great expectations we arrived. Support with the car, check-in, room selected, bag service… all was perfect! But the bar service in the early evening and the breakfast service was slow, unattentative and the poched eggs dish was not hot when it arrived. So a very spotty dining experiance…. But we did have high expectations
